Tms fucking suck and are expensive, both Irelands (where I live) have the 1j limit because of the troubles and now we get nothing but Japanese and g&g slop
I got sent a trial one to try to fit. The Bluetooth sensor is the chip on the top of the unit towards the front of the gearbox. My instructions were to drill a hole to make space for it. I tried fitting it in several gearboxes as well. I gave up on it. Completely worthless.
Ive messed with 1 of these. So far i even had to mod a retroarms shell to get the shell to close. The true mag button that stick out the shell broke off immediately(it cuts off the power every 30 rounds untill you reseat the mag.) And after about 100 rounds of test shots it randomly died. I guess ill see how the replacement does But perun mosfets are easily the way to go
Been eyeballing the Perun hybrid for a while.. Does the magnet add any resistance to the trigger at all? Would be cool if it had a bit of a break feel like a real trigger.
@@BionicBurke nah theres no resistance. its just a hall effect sensor. As far as drop in units go, its the most hassle free etu ive used. i got them in all my guns from 50 rps dsgs to dmrs.
LATE UPDATE. . Its clear this mosfet is a an upgrade replacement specifically for the Falcon fire control unit in the double eagle guns. I installed it in my double eagle m904g with the stock gearbox shell. Dropped right in. No fuss. Everything works fine. Perun hybrid v2 is still a better buy tho.
The mystery button seems to cycle the AEG once when pressed or was that you doing that with your thumb? If its the button that cycles it, wouldn't that be for loading a BB after an empty mag change? That would also create a higher possibility of a jam due to a double feed when changing mag before its empty, so still a mystery as to why its there in the first place. EDIT: never mind...... it does nothing
No wonder why it's never been tested cause nobody heard of this company before today so it's a brand new company..... from the looks of it they have a long way to go before getting good. Why would they make you modify the gearbox rather then make it smaller and move the sensors more to the left closer to the nozzle?? They have millions way to go with it that's if cyma doesn't make then look like shit sliding on water or a elephant trying out a treadmill
They did definitely change it. I have tried it in my personal stuff. For the price of it it was definitely worth a try. Going to put it through its paces at an indoor feild near the end of the month
So I recently tried one of theses, they changed the button for the mag to a limit switch. They also have appeared to have moved the sensors a bit so there isn’t as extensive modification to the selector. Also after trying it in a few cases, where it’s hitting in most of them that’s preventing the case from closing is around the sector gear bushing toward the front of the case. It needs to be ground flat with the rest of the case.
If Gordon ramsay and Jimmy Carr were genetically spliced together and did airsoft tech...🤣 I love your vids, your honesty. We all think it. You say it. Top man.
Weird assumption... maybe the button is some kind of mag sensor? Dry fire protection? Maybe to use in tandem with auto drop mags? I'm really damn curious why that button exists but I'm not willing to spend the money to find out.
I know you probably won't see this comment but i was wondering if you could explain what gear ratios are as well as what sorbo pads do. I tried googling what sorbo pads do and was never given a clear answer.
Sorbos are supposed to dampen the force of the piston against the gearbox. But in practice they just fuck up the angle of engagement, don't use them. Gear ratio is how many rotations the motor needs to do to fire the gun. 32:1 ratio for example means the gun fires 1 time every 32 turns of the motor. 32 is the input while 1 is the output. So 64:2 is the same as 32:1. Less turns means a faster shooting gun but the motor needs to work more. More turns means a slower shooting gun but the motor needs to work less. If you have a strong spring you need to give the motor less work so it can have the strength to pull back the spring. But if you have a weak spring you can afford to have the motor work more to shoot the gun faster. Hope this helps!
These are in double eagle officially licensed aeroknox. If it works it works and i know taiwan gun makes sure it does. The button is there for 30 rd mag mode where you have to drop the mag every 30 rds. Of course you can use an aster and titan and it doesn't use a button for that. Edit I've put 10k through it and not a single malfunction on semi or full auto. The falcon gb was most likely designed for it.
I know im a bit late, but yes i can 💯 confirm this. Dimensionally its identical to the falcon fire control unit. And it drops right into the DE gearbox shells. I put one into my m904g just to test it out and it dropped right in. No modifications, no fuss. It just worked. But trying to install it in litterally any other shell was a disaster
Kestrel is a disaster. After a lot of hard work with assembly and the necessary GB milling, it stopped working after a week of use. Magazine buttons didn't work well at all from the start
Only Neg Airsoft having issue with the Kestrel Mosfet. Seen others airsofters do the review like Real Deal Airsoft, Adzzzy's Armoury etc & they didn't have any issues with it. The Kestrel Features with the bluetooth app is on par with Perun but the price point is cheaper.
A this moment TITAN II Bluetooth is cheaper than this chinese imitation 😂 They can't even properly copy the thickness of the pcb, which makes it incompatible with most gearboxes
