It's been a long time since I've had something like this happen but it was bound to happen now that I'm experimenting with the sound setup again.

Nice riding! I love the Star Wars intro! I actually lost most of my main camera video/audio on the latest group ride so I only have no audio 360 footage as well 😢. I will have to do something similar..

thanks for watching Erock. I was so angry when I had the audio failure. I hate when you feel like you filmed a banger of a video, only to find out you don't got sht for it lol. Based on the analytics people definitely didn't like the video but gotta get it out before the algorithm tries to kill you lol. I should've listened to my wife and did a voice over but I'm happy with the Star Wars intro even though most people didn't like it lol. Good luck with the group ride editing. I hope you're able to salvage it for a video!

Nice intro. I see the reasoning behind it, but it's a really cool touch. No audio, but the music helped to set the chilling mood of your ride.

thanks Sabaki! That was the only way I could think of to salvage the footage I had. I was messing with ways of sharing why this video was such a hot mess for a while. I finally got the inspiration when I put on Empire Strikes Back! This was my only free day to record where the weather cooperated so I had no choice but to work with this. I'm not happy with it but it worked out in the end!

Ugh, that must've been heartbreaking to realize the audio issue after the ride! It looks like you still had a great ride if nothing else. It did however make me realize why I enjoy your videos... One, I enjoy feeling like I'm there and able to ride (when I otherwise can't), and two, because I enjoy your insightful and relaxing commentary. Thanks for providing the content! BTW, it blows my mind the streets were so quiet during this ride, what day/time was it? I would actually ride in the city if it were normally like that, lol!

yeaaaaa it was definitely a punch in the gut. It was my only day off where the weather cooperated. The craziest thing about this ride was, like you said, it was soooooooo quiet! I never get the streets to myself like that. I was so excited when I got home because I was like "the weather was amazing, the ride was amazing, the new wheel set up was amazing, and i felt that my commentary on this one was going to be a banger!" My heart sank when I found out that the device recording my helmet's audio froze after the first 10 seconds, then it overheated and shut off after 10 minutes... Unfortunately, because of my work schedule and the crap weather we've had lately, I had no choice but to try and salvage this video. It sucks, but I'm glad it happened now instead of during an "inclement weather ride". This video was recorded on a Sunday afternoon! It's usually packed on the streets at that time but it was surprisingly quiet as heck! It's interesting you say that because that's exactly what I said on the video lol. I was like "sign me up for riding in Manhattan all day every day if it were like this!" I appreciate that. I'm just glad that yall enjoy the commentary and my delivery. I always thought that nobody would be interested because I'm not one of those high octane "hype everything" youtubers chasing clout so it's cool to get confirmation from y'all that I'm on the right path!

thanks for joining us on this hot mess of a ride Jordan, I'm just happy I found a way to salvage this ride because the weather was so epic and the streets were strangely clear! After 300 miles on the pneumatics, I thought it was finally time to swap back to the cloudwheels rover110s. I bought them a few months back and I initially didn't like them. Now that I have more experience, I'm really enjoying the heck out of them!

@@eyebahnrides Wow that's great! I believe my board also will gain about 30% range without pneumatic tires. I have a brick speed bump at my school that makes street wheels pretty rough but eventually I'll shift back to them. Hope all is well up in NYC!

Do you wear any sort of body armor or pads when you ride, skate or scoot?

Thanks for watching homie! Yup, unfortunately you can’t hear it but I did talk about what I was wearing in the video lol. I have Beyond Riders armored jeans on with ce2 pads on the knee and hip. I also have my Beyond Riders armored mesh shirt with ce2 padding on the shoulders,back, and elbows underneath that super73 windbreaker. That’s why I got the larger size windbreaker so that I can wear armor under. I usually only armor up on the scooter and board. The s73 I usually just do the summer mesh armor but that’s it. I usually just wear the s73 jersey for group rides since we go at such a chill pace.

Your confidence has gone up so much, you don't need to use the pneumatics. Is there a big difference in comfort between street wheels and pneumatic tires?

thanks for joining us on this ride Darryl, my apologies for the lack of commentary and terrible sound lol. I definitely feel much more comfortable on the board now that I'm crossing into 500 miles with it. After months of riding the pneumatics exclusively, I do have to admit that I like the ride of the street wheels more. I didn't like the rover110s at first but I like them much more now that I have more experience. I enjoy how planted the board feels when riding with streets and I love how they feel when the roads are newly paved. Though I must say, they handled the cracks and bumps really well. I just hand to be more mindful of where the potholes were. With the pneumatics inflated to 37psi, they feel as hard as the rovers so I wouldn't say they're "significantly more comfortable". I'm actually enjoying the street wheels so much now that I'm considering picking up a set of the MadWheelz V2 that @eboard3r recommended.

Those things are cool but to me those wheel are too small im safer riding a escooter then that skateboard lol. If you know most streets have smooth pavement then thats when to consider riding that electric skateboard. But my guy nice review and video of this electric skateboard, be safe, & vigilant.

yea man, the boards are definitely fun. I would even say this is the most fun I've had on any PEV I've owned. One day I'll be as comfortable on them as I am on the scooter and bike but we'll take it one day at a time lol. BTW, the tires are bigger than they seem in the video. The wheel's I'm using look huge in person 110mm diameter and wide as heck too. The all terrain tires I use are about 7in. Both can handle the rough roads decently well but you won't be blasting through it like you would on a scooter/ ebike lol

Congrats on your new Nami Ronald! I don't have any videos for the set up of the scooter but I highly suggest spending some time on @MichaelSha 's youtube page. He's the founder and owner of Nami and there's no better source for this type of information. I highly recommend going through the instruction manual as you watch his videos. You can also check out @ESG-ElectricScooterGuide professional guide to setting up the Nami's suspension. I would personally trust professionals like them more than me when it comes to setting up the scooter lol.
