Yo, that was an intense ride to work with all the salmons and the crazy mopeds going the wrong way in traffic. I'm really sorry to hear about your friend.
I totally agree with the “flow of traffic” rider logic. (14:13)it’s a sixth sense kinda thing for us riders in NY. It heightens your awareness as well. I don’t consider myself a reckless rider by any means, and I value pedestrian safety as well, but also coming from a pedestrian pov, going with the flow of traffic is a grace we extend to each other in a busy city.
1: Can't believe I've been watching you for over a year and never subscribed - corrected. 2: Dude! the lights, what are they? Also let us know what mirrors you switch to, cause those are a no-go for NYC with those wide handlebars (how wide are they, by the way?).
I love riding in the city and when you ride through from queens into Brooklyn then into Manhattan it is very fun. We just have to be very alert and anticipate ppl actions.
as always, thanks for joining us on the ride reuben! It's insane how night and day the traffic can be in the city. That's why I was like "sht do I stay in manhttan and take the more stressful route orrrrrrrr chill through Brooklyn". It's always a love hate relationship with this city lol. "AYYYOOOO PAAAAUSSSSEEEEEEE... yooo pauussseeeee... sht was _________ my guy" is soo built into my system growing up here in NYC that I gotta fight the urge now that I'm a grown professional hahaha. (we can't fill in that blank anymore since we'll get cancelled. But old school NYers know what would be in that blank lol) Btw, you coming to the Zooz ride tomorrow?
@@eyebahnrides unfortunately I will not be able to attended tomorrow's Zooz group ride, on Wednesday, June 26, my brakes fail in my e-bike and I had no choice but crash my bike just stop. On Tuesday, July 2, I had surgery to have a Titanium plate attached to my left wrist to keep the bones together. So no riding until I'm fully recovered. On the brightside, I know how Wolverine feels after having metal attached to your bones🤣, my IG antron2082 has some pictures and videos.
thanks for joining us for the full commute video Malcom! hahaha sorry about that! Everyone tells me that I have the weirdest fears but i think it's pretty plausible lol. My thing is, why can't those nasty things get kicked up ass well if debris can be kicked up by the tires on to you.😭
thanks for joining us while we zooz around the city! The green paint can be a quite slippery when the roads are wet. I generally try to stay off the the painted things if their wet because I've slipped out a few times (on pedal bikes) over the years. Back then it was ok because the lanes weren't as congested as they are now, however, I'd like to not get hit by 15 mopeds/ebikes/ scooters/ pedal bikes/ cars if I slip out in the bike lane lol
thanks for joining us on one of the original Full Commute videos on the channel! hahaha yea, we gotta keep it classy and gotta let the heat out a little lol
I like the idea of having different speed limits with the highest being regulated, DMV and insurance with the current motor-cycle? Lets say (Class 4) 27-55mph needs all the “Road-Usage” stuff as a EV motorcycle; except if a PEV is in “Class 3” 17.5-27mph or “bike & trail”; then we should overlap max:Min with “Class 2” with a 20 Max; 12 for “Class 1” and a “Class P” for pedestrian mode whos max & min should be Binary zero or 3 (stability). 50 points if you give me a “dog run/walk/stop” modes. 😂
thanks for joining us for this chat and welcome to the channel! I appreciate that you took the time to chime in with such a detailed response. I completely agree with this approach would love to see it implemented. Personally, I wouldn't mind being required to register and insure any of my high powered PEVs and being allowed to operate without any of that stuff on my class 2/ class 3 ebikes. 😂 would love to see a company implement those modes. That sounds like a sure fire way to land new clients!
well i like my klima ,but missing my teverun supreme... and the power of it. good adrenalin but once u used 72V escooter u wont go back to 60V. thats my idea.
thanks for joining us for one of the original reviews on the channel! The Klima is definitely a great midsize high performance commuter, but It's really hard for it to keep up with 72v monsters like the supreme. In the perfect world, I would like to have a 72v hyperscooter alongside the Klima. The klima would be my daily commuter and the hyperscooter would be for joy rides/commutes/ and group rides. Personally, I had to downsize from a Burn E to the Klima because of my building. Honestly, I don't really miss much about the Burn E because the Klima is so zippy. Only things I really miss are the size of the deck, the plush suspension, and the larger tires.
thanks for watching the video. I'm sorry, that's info that I don't have. I'm sure that's a question that can be answered by the forums, the distributors, and or Kaabo themselves. This was just a first impressions video of it.
yup, it definitely depends on the routine though. For me, I'm up at 6am every day so its tough to wake up early especially if I was up late the night before working on RU-vid stuff.
I have plenty of videos on the original Burn E since I had it for 3 years and over 4000 miles. Technically there is no such thing as a E3 Max. The E3 Max is what Europe calls the Gen 2 of the E2 Max and in my opinion, they shouldn't be doing that. The Burn E2 Max is basically the same machine as the original Burn E. The only reason we have the max version now is because they created a base model called the "E2". Hope this helps!
thanks for joining us for this first impressions video Victor. UL Certification wasn't really a thing yet when this video was created last year. As of July 5th, 2024, Nami Scooters are not UL Certified despite having the option for really high quality batteries on the Max versions and having a great safety record. I believe Michael Sha, the owner, is still in the process of getting the certifications.
thanks for joining us on this group ride! Super73 is doing monthly rides so you can check them out on instagram. Since I like the more chill rides, I follow the following groups for group ride info: @Super73NYC @NYCZoozClub @electric.wednesday There are also other groups out there that do highspeed rides and "stunting"and they're pretty easy to find if you're into those
thanks for joining us for this ride to the city on the board! I'm right there with you. I have a love hate relationship with Manhattan lol. It depends on what's happening and what I'm doing!
thanks for joining us for the reveal and first ride! Apologies for the late response again, its been a heck of a week at work but I'm finally catching up with RU-vid. The Zooz is definitely a beautiful bike. It's a great take on a nostalgic BMX design. I'm so happy to have it. The helmet's link is in the description of the videos. This one is called the TSG Pass Pro. They've been replaced by the Pass Pro 2.0, but I think you can still get the original. I plan to have both because I'm going to keep using the blue one for colder weather and the new one for hotter weather.
thanks for joining us on this ride! TBH I don't think there's a rental company that will have a Burn E. I can just imagine the liability and issues of renting out a high performance machine like a Burn E to the public. Your best bet may be to purchase one and use it for a commute and return it if it doesn't work. There are some places that as long as its not beat up and the mileage is still low they'll accept a return for a fee. Sorry I didn't have a better answer for you!
thanks for watching the first review video that I ever made! This was really tough and almost incomplete because I ran out of space on my hard drive and my computer ran out of memory so I couldn't add all the photos/ b-roll footage that I had. But I'm happy to hear that the message still got across and yall still enjoyed it!
thanks for joining us for the unveiling and first ride of my new Zooz. Also welcome to the channel! Apologies for the delayed response. Work has been crazy the last couple of days and I'm finally catching up with RU-vid. I agree. 20-30 is pretty ideal for most of the situations in the city, especially if the bike lanes are open in that area. I only really miss the speed is when I'm traveling on service roads/ the Blvds because the bike lane disappears.
thanks for joining us on one of the first "ride therapy videos" and welcome to the channel Marlon. Apologies for the slow response. Work has been crazy and I'm finally catching up with RU-vid. Glad you enjoyed the vlog style of this video series. I'm still in the process of refining and tweaking this so feedback is super helpful. The next 2 videos have just motor sounds and music but I'm possibly going to remove music on the next version.
