Been using this for a long time on my dungeon tank. Halfway through City of Ash II the rest didn't know they needed to kill the adds for Urata. Healer went down first, the other two weren't far behind. I tried to die to reset. As long as I was facing the boss, standing there doing _nothing,_ I Could Not Die! Had to turn around to give them flank hits before they could kill me. Gotta love it!
@@chrisw1462 that's what happened to me as well 🤣😂. Love this build, I soloed cloudrest not knowing it was a group encounter. Cleared the first room solo then left.
Beautiful work. If I was a tank this would be what I would be aiming for - tough and beefy to the point of immortality. Thanks for the great work that you keep consistently churning out!
Oh, I predicted the crimson oath set, but for group damage I expected to see turning tide + nazaray. Anyway, amazing video, love this build and its variations!
I like this this build, but I think using an ice staff in the back bar will be better, you can block with an ice staff using stamina if you do not unlock the first destruction staff passive.
I remember seeing this build for the first time during the Morrowind update. Kinda crazy just how beefy it's gotten over the years. Keen on seeing where this one goes!
Yo, i started morrowind patch, and easy sorc was my goal! Now i solo dsa on norm, majority of the dungeons, etc. Xynode is a huge part of my success. My 1st tank was his build, dk with lekis and orgnum scales i think lol.
Yet again, another piece of art Sensei. Which race would you recommend if i wanted to use this DK as both Magicka DD and Tank? (with the armory system i mean)
There are many sets you can craft or farm for that will get you along. Leeching isn't hard to farm neither is crimson. I would actually just get some one to craft you a few sets to get you used to a tank build before worrying about meta sets Beekeeper, plague Doctor, Torugs pact, Ebon, Worms Raiment to name a few
The written page isnt explaining this build too well. Its missing the group damage version for one, and the traits listed on there are not matching what is seen in the video. Then the video doesnt show them all so its hard to know the complete build.
more or less new to playing ESO. just started playing a little more than casually but is this an end game build that is requiring high level gear? like legendaries only?
Legendary is a quality choice, not a gear type, the gear can be aquired at any level. The build is designed to tank ANYTHING in the game no matter how hard the content is and does it extremely well. 5 year old build STILL nailing it :) All information you need is in the video but there is a written guide in the desctiption also if you want to know gear locations rather than just the options themselves.

I've not played a Tank yet in ESO and also haven't created a Dragonknight so i thought why not try both? However as someone who hasn't actually reached end game yet or or even level 50 i'm stuck confused in most of these guides as it seems like everything talked about is only for people at end-game like 150cp. Is there any guide or tips on what to do while leveling? Say i create a dragonknight, get him to level 10 so i can start doing dungeons, what skills should i focus on early on and so on. Or should i just play a dragon knight whatever i feel like and ignore this video completely until i'm near end game and then look at this guide? From all videos i watch on tips etc. they all say as a new player you shouldn't even look at gear until 150CP and being that this build seems so gear dependent i get impression that there isn't much i can do until end game for following this guide. I wish there was a beginner guide i can follow while leveling then i can switch to this one when it's time to get my gear setup
All classes have been able to play all roles since the release of the game. The tag line for the game is literally "Any class Any race Any role". Before morrowind? GG, this original build was released in One tamriel, and has been getting updates for 6 years ;)
I made my tank build years ago and I’m just getting back into the game. I’m afraid I may have ruined my build. It has a ton of stamina and health. Idk what I’m doing over here
When you get to lvl 15 you get another bar for other weapon and skills so you can use two weapons during fight. Front bar is first weapon and back bar is second weapon.
mmm pretty decent but my templar tank is 61k hp, 33k resist and infinite stamina thanks to repentance. Temps are the new meta tank IMO but I will try this on my DK
@@runkorko what classes do you have to support your claim. I have 9 toons and 4 are tanks. Templar with infinite health and stamina from consecrate and crazy self healing means you can put champion points in other areas. I dont have to have piece each piece of my gear enchanted with reduce cost of block if i dont want to and my block cost is still at 439. As long as you have turning tide and dropping boss resistance with back bar ice staff and your main taunt they are the best main tank. They are also the only class that can use tormenter set for easy daily veterans and can taunt an entire pull with one button and keep each mob taunted for 15 seconds without it running to the party. No other class can run half the dungeon and keep everything taunted on the tank and bring everything to a corner and let the group AoE it down.
@@runkorko standing in your own rune focus on the backbar heals for 4k per second. Thats the same as leeching set 5 piece from just a skill with a 20 second duration and free to cast. Repentance also if u want which gives 4k health and stamina back per corpse on the ground, all bosses summon adds and each mob pull in 4 mobs or more. Thats 16k healthband stamina back from just 1 button on the back or front bar for free. Standing in your own extended ritual thay last for 24 seconds heals you and the entire group for 2k a second. Your at 6k health per second without a healer. It is the best sustain class. Throw in radiant ward shield for an average of 23k shield and its the most OP tank as long as your dropping the boss resistance and blocking boss heavy attacks. You never die.

I was told I was inefficient and selfish for wearing any build with leeching. I have been running around with Galenwe body and leeching weapons and jewelry with Bogdan's Nightflame or Sentinel for a long time. Got called trash by someone in the Facebook group.
yea they are the selfish ones. the job of a tank it to stay alive - hold the boss - pull ads - then give buffs. this setup does that. So may selfish DPS players want the tanks to give buffs first. that is fine if you have a strong healer for the tank but then the DPS don't get heals.
Lol they r right no real group is gonna take a tank in winters and leaching ever.. dummy’s think this does any good a real tank will wear actual tank sets and still survive lol
@@orianalexander1671 but as a tank, you will not have any problems doing all of that without a selfish build. A correctly set up tank with proper gear can do that fairly easily. Ebon and worm's in the begining will give you good stats but also buff the group. Drake's Rush is also a good set, far superior to leeching. Leeching just give you a pillow to sleep on and develop bad habits when it comes to resource management. It is better to learn this from an early stage, than try to unlearn at higher CP and harder content.
Every build I see a build that is a dlc I’m giving a dislike because let’s be honest it’s bullshit how nerfed the non dlc content is and I’m tired of eso fucking over players
do i just need the ascending tide dlc, or do i need somthing else beside the guild and glory pack because i havet hose dlcs at least, and do i need to make my character a vampire, is there an alternative?
