It has changed a lot, but its doable. Get into a trade guild in a good city like mournhold or vivec city, flip items to get some gold and the rest will fall into place. Also, just get the gold road collection, it includes all chapters n such

@@BillyBobby-n6h hahaha what? I’m actually maining my Vamp Imperial Arcanist for PvP now. Using master perfected duel wield, wrath of elements ice staff, way of fire set(5pc), jerall 2 pc set,2 pieces of cinder, sea serpent coil mythic. So tanky and loads of damage pressure.

Definitely, if you’re Mag sustain is a bit rough I’d swap out the Jewelry enchant for Weapon and Spell damage for a Reduce Mag Cost enchant

High elf/khajit works more damage but less sustain

Sorry for the delay, I very much enjoy Breton as I can invest more into damage and have Tankiness on top of it, but Khajiit would definitely hit the hardest, you’d just have to invest more into recov on your jewelry enchants

@@coaze False. My High Elf Sorc with food buff has 2150 regen that goes over 2550 with a pot. I have 53k magicka. 29.5k health and 13.6k pen that goes up to 18.4k with destruction staff debuff. Buffed magic and weapon attack exceeds 3400. And i run no mythic or proc set in CP Cyrodiil. I do alright 😁

This build still works perfectly! The new Saint and Seducer mythic is good alternative, anything else isn’t as good, I highly recommend farming Death Dealer’s

@DS-lk3tx lol I've been running Afflicted with Pestilent host on a bow crow. It can be challenging but these changes and new sets are so insane. Have fun though. 👍

Is the jumping a timing thing?

This was fixed on PC 2 weeks later, so it should be fixed in 2 weeks for console from what it looks like

@throatcoater3 Oh yeah most definitely, I love the Ulti spam from Bloodspawn just make sure to slot Boundless Storm for your Sorc armor buff

@@Hexapug the major resolve is nice, what would you swap out for bound storm? Is the heals from crit surge worth or set and forget inner light better? Also major brutality… it’s so hard to get everything you want on sorc lol

Just a heads up I know you probs have the answer already but I was able to get the chudan shoulders today.

You’d have to break your 2 piece monster set for it, but it does sound like a very good alternative set up especially if you prefer Ward on front bar, I’d go Death Dealer’s with it and you’d have to slot the Sorc armor buff, but overall very solid and spicy, you could even maybe look into having the Asylum Lightning front bar, and save your 2 piece monster That’s what I love about Sorc rn, so many ways to build it!

Max Mag is way better, you get 24% extra Max Mag from Undaunted, Sorc Passive and Bound Aegis Hardened Ward still scales off Max Mag plus the heal only scales of your Max Mag, so it triple dips into the whole build Max Mag gives more damage, stronger shields and stronger heal

@@Hexapug Ah okay. But I thought shields scale off of your health? It went back to max mag again?

So most of the shields have a Max Health “Cap” meaning your shield will not exceed a certain amount, while Hardened Ward has the ability of scaling of your Max Health instead of Max Mag which doesn’t scale well in PvP For example, if we have 30k health and our Hardened Ward is capped at 72% of our Max Health the shield will only be able to go up to about 21.5k no more, which will never happen in PvP because of Battle Spirit reducing shield strength, it was mainly a PvE nerf

Swap out Crit Surge but you’d be restricted to running Spell Crit/Damage pots, the AP vendors perfectly fine

Are you running 7 Max Mag enchants, full Arcane jewelry with Tri Stat food, the Mage, Bound Aegis, no pet with Expert Summoner, Undaunted 9, the Blue CP Max Mag Slottable and Passive?

No dumb sincere questions here, I get about 4k from my food, and the mythic “Death Dealer’s Fete” gives me about 2.6k health, so after Undaunted 6% and Heavy Armor 4% to health that’s how it stacks up to like 7k+ more Health

It’s not the end of the world, you can work around races, try it out and if your sustain is a little rough I’d go a reduce mag cost enchant on your 3rd piece of jewelry, High Elf is good too because of the Max Mag

I swapped from high elf to breton and its much better

You could possibly swap out the mythic for a second Trainee which is great in Ravenwatch, anywhere else I’d highly recommend getting your hands on mythics you’re going to be at a disadvantage in PvP

I'm using same with markyn, so I have it 3 times frontbar, helps much with resists and dmg. Also I'm high elf.

I was always a believer of Race against Time on all my builds, but I felt it really wasn’t necessary on Sorc, but if you need it because I understand lol, I would swap out Crit Surge for it and then run Mag, Spell Crit/Spell pots

You literally don't need rat sorc has a minor force buff and major expedition buff in the class kit .....

@am_gated9071 Well this build is NOT a StamSorc so we’re not running Dark Deal, and as you can see we’re not running an Armor as seen by Chudan to free up space, also Race has the invaluable utility of snare and root cleanse and immunity

Have you checked the FPS limit in the Video settings?

Crafty Alfiq is purchasable from guild traders, as for Death Dealer’s swap it for a 2nd piece of Trainee and for the Monster Helm run Bloodspawn and run the Sorc armor skill Boundless storm

Markyn is viable, however Death Dealer’s is overall best on this because we’re able to get more Max health for our shields cap to up and it we can dump our attributes into full Max Mag, plus it gives Max Mag for more damage and bigger shields

I pretty much do whatever is allowed in game, I put healthbars at all times and buff trackers up at all times The only thing I HIGHLY recommend is raising the camera sensitivity in the game files best feature of playing on PC, there’s plenty of videos on this on YT

I agree, I don’t run my pools that high. I like higher penetration ( no diddy.)

You can use a 2nd piece of Trainee, but I highly recommend getting the Mythic

You can run temporal guard on the back bar as well, great defensive if you have the psijic order skill line

Honestly Meteor could be real good for the extra Max Mag, Undo for cheese undo back onto a keep, or Overload because Overload light attack spam hits really hard rn

I would highly recommend not using this in PvE, as all my builds are specialized for PvP

That’s were the personal flavor sets come into play, I personally felt I didn’t need it with Tri pots, but it’s a great alternative set to make you a shielding rolly polly

I gave options in the build video, saying you can swap out Healing Ward for Ele Sus if you run an Ice Staff back bar

I mean if you have trouble doing a simple bar swap that’s off the gcd, that’s on you

⁠@@Hexapugwell it kinda explains itself looking at the intro. Different play styles when you aren’t looking to X but either fighting people running from you or fighting with 4 other people. Ward front bar is the way and has been for a while. Losing pressure having to swap bars to a completely defensive bar that has not one but THREE heals is wild. Sorc doesn’t need all that at this point

Yeah that was one of the biggest hurdle I faced when I swapped to PC but I kept joining guilds and discords and slowly making new friends on PC, the same way we all started on console

I strictly play outnumbered PvP and my sustain was amazing, more of the player skill than the stat sheets 🤷‍♀️ But I bet I’d still have better sustain than you with you running Wretched

Yes because Max Magicka double dips as damage and tankiness, more Max increases our damage of all our skills while also increasing our shield strength, which no other class can replicate As for your Max stats, do you have 1 piece trainee, full 64 attribute points into Mag, Gold Tri Stat food, 2 heavy with Heavy armor passives, full Undaunted passives, all Arcane jewelry, the “Expert Summoner” passive and Bound Aegis skill slotted, also what race is your toon?

@@Hexapug Hi Hex thanks for replying! So there is one thing i did different i went 5 light 1 heavy 1 medium. Do you think that affected my max mag and max health alot? Cause i felt the passive for having 5 lights is more ideal for dumping more dps but the heavy armor passives is not as good as the light armor passives. Let me know what you think and do you feel this could be why im not at 58k max mag?

@@poopoo09 No that shouldn’t affect it, do you have full Undaunted Lv9, all Max Mag on Jewelry and Armor, do you have the Blue CP’s for Max Mag, the Passive and Slottable, with the Mage Mundus, and all of your Sorc passives? Also what race are you?

@@Hexapug Im Breton as well, yep i leveled up undaunted 9 put 2 skills into that, and all my armors are going Arcane and all max mag enchants on armor and jewellery And as for Blue Cp i set it as the same as yours. Focus mending-Ironclad-masterarms-arcane supremacy. Im only level Cp 400 all the points are not filled in each blue cp yet But im pretty sure i put in all the right passives where they gotta go.

It comes from years of playing, especially MagSorc, you have to pick your fights and always anticipate gankers at any moment, I still get zerged over or ganked into Oblivion on the daily So give it time, and if you want swap ward to front bar and curse back bar, you can’t defeat everyone in PvP

Yes I’d play MagSorc over almost any class rn, because Sorcs can burst you from a mile a away and can streak away instantly from melee builds
