I love this. All my characters have extensive backgrounds. I have no desire to be the most powerful. I just love immersing in the world. I often create characters just for regions.

I have a pirate character who was in the theives guild in her past and after that she joined the house of reveries but found out her family in cyrodil became casualties of war distraught she went soul searching and became a pirate

Don't forget about the khajit necromancer faction! they're long dead but it was my favorite archetype to roleplay and it rlly got me into the game
