Breton is very good for magicka, for the cost reduction and lil extra mag recovery. But that doesn't mean it's the only good race for sustain. Argonian is always overlooked, and is also good. They get a racial health and magicka buff of 1,000. They also get a 6% racial bonus to healing, and if we're talking about sustain, any trash potion automatically grants 4,000 health, magicka and stamina regardless of type, plus whatever the specific resource point they take. Example, you take a magicka potion that restores 7,582, because of the racial bonus of 4,000, they are actually getting 11,582 magicka. Every race in PvP has to suck down potions, it's just part of the game. I'm not arguing against Breton's, I have a few myself. But the Breton cost reduction + 100 mag recovery can in some ways be equal to some of the Argonian resource bonuses. Argonians don't get a resistance bonus to spells, but they do get a 6% increase to healing. It all boils down to how a build is set-up and tweaked according to racial strengths. Thanks for the video.
My vamp main has been Imperial from early access day 1. Passives are lot better these days. 2000 extra HP and a built in mini siphoning attacks is nothing to scoff at. Not to mention it gives 3% cost reduction to all abilities. It's not Breton's 7%, but it does apply to all abilities which idk, outside of pvp you might use health cost abilities or something. Red Dimonds also restores health/magicka/stam which is pretty decent combind with siphoning. It's only reason I haven't raced changed him to something else on this build. It's not the best caster, but it does have some good stuff.
Your build vids are always good it's in depth and you explain why you choose certain things over other I'm definitely going to make a build around this keep up the great work
I've actually tried this setup myself, with a few small changes. I still run Mass Hysteria as my cc because it effects players even if not facing you, i.e. if they're running away. I've also opted for using 2 spell dmg glyphs and 1 reduce mag cost glyph with the attro mundus. Also am running barrier backbar over temporal guard, simply due to not having leveled psijic skill-line on that toon. Glad to see I wasn't the only person using a setup like this because it is REALLY strong.
This is amazing shit bro! Love the passion you pour into these videos and it excites the hell out of me to play ESO and to play a magblade! I only do PVE right now but this is good stuff.
Man this build is insane in battlegrounds also. The only changes I made is I have legendary spell damage glyphs on all 3 jewelry so I stay at stage 1 vamp and I also run a Breton. Golded out both necro staffs also and so I’m sitting at 57.5k magicka with shade out, 18k health, and 1857 spell damage, 2228 with major sorcery. With almost 60k magicka and 2228 sp dmg I absolutely obliterate people.
This build I use the same set up actually, the only thing is I highly recommend using mass hysteria over the vamp stun, the vamp stun is garbage, you will miss 90% of your stuns with it and fear will always work. Also I much prefer using reapers mark to weakness, you don't really need Magicka steal when you have 60k Magicka and you're missing out on a 25% damage increase. Also mist form is cool and all, just mirage in combination with dampen magic actually helps a lot more if you need to go defensive for a moment
Just to save you some time, kjanlar blows for this build, 95% of the time your enemy is dead before you reach the number of stacks required for the proc. My original idea was to use a different stun so that the proc would deal damage along side my merciless resolve for a massive hit but the one second delay on the stacks just made it to where I was killing people before I had the chance to line up both attacks, just stick with slimecraw
I'm just getting into the game and your vids have been very helpful for understanding the mechanics and knowing what to shoot for. Great explanations and uploads in general -- thanks and keep it up!
Finally, this seems like a good PvP build. Any chance that you could replace strife with the vampire spammable? It's basically a free spell. Also, they've changed the toggle, it's now much easier to maintain, but less bursty. I wish you could remake this build one day, while trying to keep as many vampire abilities as possible for the whole theme.
Thanks for making this build. I made my own build but u used the same monster set , and i didnt know about how it works with Necropotence. That was really cool . Im using vampires kiss and thinking of another set. Its weird build but ya. Please make more vampire pvp builds. Its a challenge to make those but its so cool someones doing it
Hey Dottz, What would you recommend for a Mag DK full vamp build? Probably use cauterize? I'm worried the healing isnt enough to sustain sated fury and blood for blood
Hi Dottz, thank you for the build. Im looking forward trying it out. I would like to ask. Would it be ok to use sap essence instead of degeneration? It would give major sorcery too and it would be siphoning ability.
@@dottzgaming Hmm yeah maybe. The reason why im asking is that i would like to make the build a bit more vampiric. I would like to add one more ability, but at the same time i dont want to break the build.
kool build, like the aproch! have a feeling that all vamp builds will be about the ulty^^. Just one comment in regards to healing nerf in pvp, its worst then u mentioned, we had 50% and now we heal for 40% -> so that is an efective nerf of 20% (NOT 10%) to healing in pvp, and I can feel it:(
Hi Dottz, I'm trying your build and it seems to be fun. :) But I have a question. I would like to add more vampire skills in the build. To be more specific. I want to try use 2 spam skills. Swallow soul as a range spam...that is no brainer, but also a melee spam which would be Eviscerate. And my question is what morf would be best for it? Blood for Blood or Arterial Burst. Have a great day :-*
Because they pad all three resources, helping you make your hp and Stam pool higher while also still giving you some magicka bonuses. Well worth saving for to put on big gear pieces
It's mostly to help builds be tankier with more health and have more stem for blocking, dodging, etc without having to completely give up magicka by using one of the single resource enchantments
Awesome build. I made a very fun stealthy melee Breton vamp assassin. Using rattlecage, spinner front sharpened, will replace with Stuhn) and precise regeneration powered back bar/ can sub potentates. Either slimecraw or 1 piece domihaus 1 price swarm mother great for stacking some mag and stam. Front: arterial burst (hits like a truck with spell damage stacking especially when a bit lower in health), lotus fan (aoe minor invul fantastic), shadow disguise (procs spell damage buff is a bit costly at stage 4), bow/inner light, veiled strike (mainly for speed when stealthed, can proc stuhn, great stun) Soul harvest ult. Back bar: almost the same as yours, shadow image, swallow soul, regen (radiating for more group and rapid for solo), hypnosis for emergency stun, inner light (good buffs and helps with precise regeneration) Bat scion. Combo: stealth, charge heavy, lotus fan tele, veiled strike (stuns and proc stuhn), arterial burst, use bow or soul harvest ult. Deletes people. Defense: regen, stealth, inner light, have swallow soul running. Bat scion with hypnosis and can shade away. Pros: Ridiculous offense, good mobility, I prefer using stealth as vamp with concealed weapon you’re pretty fast still. When I use elusive mist people just follow me and all I get is just some wasted mag. Disengaging then assassinating so much more rewarding to me especially in battlegrounds. Precise regeneration helps a lot with sustain but can change to potentates for the defence also. Also soul harvest with night blade ult on potion charges bat scion very fast. Cons: Worst is no shield it is just too expensive and weak for this build. But remember we can shade away and becoming invisible is the best defense for magblade. Also remember you’re a vamp assassin not a brawler don’t try to go toe to toe with 4 Dawnbreaker slinging stamdk and stamdens, at least I’m not good enough to do that yet lol. Magplars jabbing out of stealth also suck but what else is new.
I use rattlecage, spinner, 1 domihaus 1 swarm mother (gives a fat 2k Stam and mag) front bar: arterial burst, shadow disguise, bow, lotus fan, concealed weapon. Soul harvest. Back bar: regen, hypnosis, swallow soul, dampen Magicka, shade/inner light/flex. Bat scion. Really fun for me eso battlegrounds. Hate running degen on magblade so rattlecage rocks. Also like having two stuns from behind or front but the speed boost when stealthing with concealed weapon rocks. Of course this is all about assassination. Stealth, charge heavy, lotus fan, concealed weapon stun, arterial burst . Mix a bow proc or soul harvest and it shreds. I like shadow disguise a lot more than evasive mist. When you disappear people lose interest and you can assassinate. They can see the evasive mist and follow you while you just drain magic... Defence harder, but mainly shield, regen, have siphon running and stealth away. Also with magblade using pots and soul harvest charges your bat scion quick but I only use that for emergency or if surrounded. Really fun to play but you will kill a lot but trust me triggered people will teabag you!!
@@FrostReave yeah generally for melee magicka builds you dont use weapon abilities. You use a great sword or 2 swords for the passive that increases all damage done. Weapon skills only scale from stam and weapon damage
Hey Dottz, love this build. Im playing it and really enjoy how fun it is. Just don really understand the way shields work. I understood it scales with magicka, but isnt it a overkill here? I took my Magicka down to aprox 30k and i still get the same size of shield. What is the other purpose of having this much magicka then? I guess sustain but that doesnt seem such a problem. Wouldnt it be better to invest in damage instead? Or health? As the shield is capped on 60% of health? Thanks for the content and reply.)
Christopher Dubay yeah but wouldn’t running spinners with necropotence or spinners and crafty be better? Pen, spell dmg, and 2 lines of max mag from spinners seems better... I haven’t tested it though
Hey Doty’s I just completed your build but I find my self still squishy and. Focusing on healing so I can’t get my five light attacks to proc the merciless resolve. Any suggestions?
Hi thx u for the amazing build. I'm more new but i love vampires. My Question to u and im very hopeful u like to share with us.... is all your PASSIV SKILLS. where and how much u did
@@sCope-Army Take all passives. You're only limited by the amount of points you have available. For this build will be all your class passives, all vampire passives except the last one because you only go to stage 3, mage guild passives, destro staff passives, resto staff passives, light armor and heavy armor passives, undaunted passives, and some of the alliance war passives, all your racials... you see where I'm going here? Run around and collect skill points nad load up on your free passives.
navystylz how do you recommend a new player build up to this since we don’t have the level to get some of these skills at the start? I don’t want to have to respec but I’m not sure what to do with all these skill points as I level up.
im running something very similar but very different skills and i can instantly kill players reliably. the vamp skill blood frenzy + the melee skill can be made to hit very very hard. and killing a player 100-0 when you only have 500 hp is priceless. anyone not in full impen is basically free ap.
hey dottz, is Necro supposed to be included in ESO+? i subscribed today and i still dont have it unlocked after about 20 hours even though elsewyr is listed under DLC
I have a version of it, I have crafty and slimecraw but I did spinners instead because I don’t have necro because never played mag till now so far been good
takes for ever to make this build for me i play solo and no oine in my guilds wanna power farm, so guys if you wanna power farm on some mobs. Put game tag or discord tag :)
@@dottzgaming Hey Dottz. Cant find it anywhere in your writen guide. I did find the witch of Degeneration for Dark Cloak. I guess you ment that. But Dark Cloak doesnt give stealth tho.
Forget the build, how do I get lag free pvp like that? on Ps4 NA, this game pretty much breaks for me at pvp. Maybe I shoudl switch to PC but 4 years of efforts have gone into the account.
How does your merciless resolve hit for so much if your spell damage is so low? Trying to make my first magic pvp build and chose a mag blade. And Know nothing about magic builds. Does magic damage not work like stamina damage Where weapon damage increases the stamina abilities damage? Or does stamina not work like that either and I’ve been confused all along lol. I’ve got a Stamblade pvp build at 4600 weapon damage buffed and the relentless focus says it hits for like 17k. How is yours at 20k with the spell damage so low?
Navy Buffalo so would having a necropotence or crafty be a better idea than using new moons? I’m running new moons and necro right now. Sounds like I should change my new moon for crafty.
Hi, im downloading right now ESO, first time i play it since 2014 lol... I actually don't know anything, im wondering, is it hard to realize this build for a "noob" player? did i've to do something special, like, gettin' bite by a vampir ?! Did someone knows a good beginner guide !? Thanks :D
Check out AlcastHQ he got alot of beginner guides and beginner builds. Also joining a social guild or a guild in general helps aswell. Can meet ppl there that may help u getting back into it.
Low levels the fire damage is intense but after a certain point it doesn't matter anymore, I play a max mag vamp night blade and I win battleground matches by myself, I have a screenshot on my ps4 where I got 39 kills and no deaths in a match where both enemy teams had 4 players and my team was just me and a low cp guy who didn't do anything at all besides die, I run vet trials and dungeons with no issues and can solo any world boss in the game, and I'm only cp 520, fire isn't shit tbh
Lincoln nah I’m rolling a magcro vamp rn with balorghs NMA and desert rose to boost sustain and defense. Only put that together a day ago and I’m not sure if my bars are final, so need more testing but I haven’t gone negative since then. Sated fury is really nice and the passive that’s gives you 300 spell/wep damage out of mist is nice too. I’m around 3500 SD with all buffs active.
Dottz Gaming Not at all. Spell Damage and Max Magicka are stats that have absolutely no effect on each other. You are clearly thinking about the tooltip values of magicka scaling effects of abilities. For these, the equation is roughly: (SpellDamageCoefficient*SpellDamage)+(MagickaCoefficient*MaxMagicka)+BaseDamage
@@gyalsnextman4725 why don't you ask other people, how successful they are. I think you're dictating what people need, if you're saying you haven't found success with low spell damage and high magicka I can accept that. But like Dottz I disagree with you. And...he does show his builds in action, not just BG but Cyrodiil too.
I dropped vampire for pvp..the ultimate is 300 ulti. No more Recovery and I use new moon. They lowered the damage reduction and increased normal skill cost. They also increased the the health recovery loss to - 100% from 75 % stage 4 .The only good thing is the stealth while running. I play magplar and vampire just isn’t worth it for me. The skill that increased spell power and weapon damage by 700 that cost health is a joke it ticks wayyy too much too fast to the point where you can’t use that either in pvp it will get you killed ..going back to stamplar. I don’t even think it’s good for pve either . The only use it has now is for the ERPers. They shoulda made stage 4 make you sparkle like Edward on twilight.. I’m pissed lol..
You want to be stage 3......stage 4 is useless and a huge jump from 3. This build is amazing. When you enter stage 2 jump out pvp, go bite someone and or take bloody Mara drinks while in pvp. Again stage 3 cause you do not lose health recovery by 100%. Simple. I'm loving the new vampire, being a creature of the night matters now
So you mentioned a set that will free up a slot. I will go ahead and say no it wont. Think about 5 light attacks on a target to cc them. Just not viable imo but that set deals awesome dmg if you fear them into the 5th att with a spectral bow combo... Ouchie
What I'm saying is it CAN if you want it to. You don't have to drop the cc if you want the damage proc like you said, but if you want to it's something you can do.
Yeah it doesn't work the way you want it to, my issue is that I always kill people before it even procs because of the stack delay so it's essentially like you're not even using a monster set
Anything magic can make use of vampire in greymoor, stamina will not benefit from anything vamp besides the ult, nightblades and necros make the best vamps, but nightblades do it the best, necro class skills are all so much better than the vamp stuff you really won't even use it much, besides the ult imo
im so triggered by the increased ability cost, like i already didnt want to be a breton even tho i felt like i should and now it just feels even more reason i have to be one. especially stage 1 still increasing cost. like wtf werewolf doesnt get drawbacks why should stage 1 vamp fuck you at all. its so stupid
Cool build an all, but you're not playing objective. Then again, you shouldn't have to since you're killing everyone. In conclusion, you're team might be trash
What? it's literally part of the swarming scion skill that I'm able to see targets through walls. You're also able to see people within a certain distance if they're tab targeted, nothing to do with an add-on.
