What you're getting, is a "stomaphagus". My husband had this cancer and this surgery, and chemo and rad treatments. He was stage 3 when it was found. He lived 2 years exactly from the day of diagnosis. I wish better for you, and hope you have a great journey to health.
Thank you for your videos. They are very insightful. Good luck to you, I hope that with the help from God and the good doctors, you will be able to live a long life.
I've had GERD and a hiatal hernia for years and years. Many times I have woken up choking in the middle of the night, inhaling stomach acid into my lungs and gasping for air and hyperventilating. No one told me (my gastroenterologist I saw yearly) that this could cause lung scaring. Now I have interstitial lung disease. It's terminal. Once you have scaring on your lungs, it's there forever. Google says the survival rate is 5 years. I only found out about this a few months ago. If any of you have the food stuck in your throat, esophagus, chest, and trouble swallowing. And especially waking in the middle of the night choking on stomach acid. Please get immediate help.
Thank you for these videos, and your dog is ADORABLE! I was just diagnosed yesterday and find your videos to be very helpful. I am, of course, terrified. Other tests next week when I will find out what is really going on. Very, very scary. I hope you are doing well in 2023!
