I missed the window to have surgery. I missed my only chance. The cancer is growing daily... I will receive some palative radiation treatment just to swallow more than liquids. But I've been given a short time - less than a year. I'm on my way out. :-(
So Sorry to hear that Jeremy. When I found out I had this cancer I thought I was on my way out also. its amazing the different thoughts you have to battle when you receive this news. I don't even know what I can say to you to help. Hopefully you will be rememebered as a kind and loving person from the people around you. My condolences to you.
I have finished chemo and radiation for almost a month now I have felt normal again. I can eat whatever I want with no problems. I go in in 2 more days for a Pet scan. I am debating on if cancer is gone whether or not to do surgery. Thanks for sharing your experience.
I had to have an eshopigectimy last September. I had the terrible cough because my vocal cords were paralyzed. My epidural messed up to, though it didn't break it came out. I was in Barnes Jewish in St. Louis for two weeks. I hope you are doing better.
