Patient Tom Simard shares his dramatic story of the moment the tumors he didn't know he had ruptured in his esophagus, causing a massive amount of blood loss and for him to lose control of his car. He and his wife, Mary, were inside and their vehicle rolled several times. They were very fortunate to survive the crash, and Tom was able to get the expert care needed to diagnose and treat the stage 3 esophageal cancer he had.
