The sequel to "Hudson River Kayak Trip: Norrie State Park to Esopus Island - Part I" has arrived!
We were able to paddle over to Esopus Island from the Norrie Park Marina in Staatsburg, NY. The island wasn't exactly "uninhabited" as we origninally believed it to be. We had a good time hiking, exploring and metal detecting, and we met a lot of nice people along the way.
