Bought one for the beautiful white. Sold it few years later when it turned yellow. But still having so much joy with this beast while owning it.

It’s a great instrument, feels and sounds amazingly. I understand what you say about the yellow, some people even prefer it that way, but I don’t really care as it stays on its case. Do you regret selling it?

so i guess it’s like an alexi laiho scythe with different inlays and an extra pickup but i like how there’s no pinstripes in the back since some alexi models also have the back cutaway which doesn’t really look good when the pinstripes cut off

yeah it´s very similar to the Scythe as you say, just add that the neck is thinner and has the satin finish instead of the gloss

@@solarfallmori oh it must be extra thin u instead of regular thin u but not many alexi models had neck paint

@@michaelgrahamwongacutemadness There´s a big difference on thickness between this neck and the one of my Blacky, and both guitars sound quite different even having the same materials and now both 81s on it. And nope, usually not but preciselly the Scythe has the gloss finish.

@@solarfallmori sometimes it doesn’t have a painted neck but the dual 81s and the different boost definitely gives a different sound

@@michaelgrahamwongacutemadness even with the boost off they have a different character, my luthier tried both and found it very stricking. I know that you can have 2 guitars of the same model and have some differences, but here is huge. Maybe the fact that the Blacky was made in 2009 and this one is from 2021 has something to do with it.
