Watched a few of the your demos and i'm always suprised how great the Phoenix sounds. The neck p90 and "hendrixy" sounds this thing can get, has me sold.... I'm gonna get one.

Bought mine 10 yrs ago. Love it. I even bought my brother a white one, then swapped pick guards with my black one. Now, his is all white and mine is all black. And, yes, he paid me for the one I got him.... because he loved it as much as I did!

Great looking and sounding guitar..love the riffs as well. I have a few ESP/LTD, and would love to add this one. Im a Seymour Duncan fan, and the Custom sounds incredible.
I like the sound of that. Have a Phat Cat on my Arrow, such a killer neck pickup. Seems pretty solidly built, and resonance is spot on in that particular one.
The guitar and amp combo sounds great Euge as well as your chops. Sound like that can inspire you. I remember when they started to hit the market. I was working at a now long gone music chain called Mars. The ESP LTD's have only gotten better. They decided to go the route of building those into more premium guitars and the regular ESP models I don't see much anymore. I have one left. An ESP Horizon with an contoured Strat style ash body and tunematic bridge. An awesome guitar. Now the LTD's are getting close to it in quality or are.
Such a great guitar. The first chord I struck when I got it I fell in love. I don't regret anything. And mine was a b-stock, don't know why it was let go. Your video is the perfect showcase and made me buy it.
I really like the channel and watch it often. I have been watching every video I can find on this guitar. 'i'm seriously thinking about added it to my collection but in the See Thru Black Cherry with the Fishman Fluence pickups. If I do make the purchase, I hope it's as good as the Vintage White.
Hi Euge, great demo, awesome guitar. I have two ESP E II eclipse with EMGs pickups that are amazing. Lately I´m moving to more blues tones from the 70 and I´ve found that I can get those tones with my guitars. I would love to see you play some blues, old blues, with your guitars with EMGs just to break some prejudices. A fan from Spain.

I have been following you since your starting Cyhra days and I'm so proud to see how you evolved your channel from playing in a plain white background room to this beautiful studio set up!! I've been considering getting this guitar, or the red one that comes with Fishmans. I think this demo confirmed how great it can sound. I wish the scale length was 24.75 though but oh well.
I just got one, delivered yesterday, from ZZounds and mine is a Korean one without stainless steel frets, which I am glad because I think tjey would be too hard.
Really is it is one of the most versatile guitar there is, my ltd firebird is on the way, vintage white, red colour in this case it is also very pretty, but I prefer Seymour duncan pickups! and I like vintage style``what colour do you prefer Euge? thanks for your videos and reviews, help make decisions! cheers

Yeah they work really well. You have to stretch the strings really hard first; the usual: rip the strings up with your picking hand as hard as you can. It’ll take a while but it’s worth it and if you break a string doing that it’s actually a good thing ’cos then you know that the string was a bad one anyway. Which sometimes happens no matter the brand 👍. A standard procedure I do every time with every guitar after changing new strings which I do (or my tech actually😊) every second show on tours.

Thanks! The bridge pickup is Seymour Duncan Custom which is kinda hotter PAF and the neck is Phat Cat which is a P-90 in a humbucker enclosure. Didn’t I mention that on the video?😎

I like the Custom in humbucking mode. Personally I'd go for something a tad darker sounding. About ten years ago I had an ltd ec401vf, kind of like a tobacco Sunburst Les Paul. It had the Jb/59 combo. It had Grover minis and an Earvana nut. Awesome guitar. Even my buddy, a mainly Gibson Custom Shop LP player, loved it. I took out the stock pickups and sold them to the guy who sold me the guitar. Then I put Duncan Alnico II pros in and it sounded like shit after that. Not long after this, I had to sell it because I had some financial difficulties. All in all, Esp/Ltd makes great instruments.
Yes you can. They're locking tuners so you loosen the lock with the "wheel" on the the tuners so that the ”pole” inside goes down revealing the hole, put the strings through (not wrap like on old school tuners), tighten the wheel so that the pole inside the tuner locks the string in place, tune the guitar and rawk n roll. Easy and fast as washing the cuckoo 😎. And the guitar stays in tune really well ’cos the strings aren’t wrapped around the tuner.
Japan has a Custom Shop where all my ESP Custom Shops are made in and then they make E-IIs (used to be ESP Standard series) in there also. The best LTDs are made in Korea (some in Indonesia) and the cheaper LTDs in Indonesia.
