Edit: I got an overall 7.5 band without preparation in the academic version. One thing you said absolutely correct is that IELTS does not need extensive preparation if the candidate has had 16 or 18 years of education in English. Secondly there are no such "band 8" words. Please do not buy any ebook on Amazon, Etsy or eBay that contains GRE level vocabulary. It would be the worst case scenario if you rote-learn words and have absolutely no idea how to use them in context. You are always better off with your own natural composure and examiners have been trained to not only catch rote-learnt words but full sentences as well. This would have a negative effect on your bandscore. A further explanation about this is not possible in a comment as it would take a whole 1 hour long video.

Thanks a lot sir❤️💯☺️ . I learnt a lot from this video. From this , I came to know that 2 points is enough for every topic you do not think that you have lack of ideas . Moreover, I learnt that 3 sentences are enough to write a body paragraph. ((First) introduce the first point, (second) explain that benefit or give example, (third), conclude that point)

@Asad Yaqub sir, in IELTS writing task two, in regard to advantages and disadvantages essay, it is better not to write pros and cons because these words are undoubtedly informal. You would rather ask your students to paraphrase the words for advantages like; merits/benefits/ positives and for disadvantages like; demerits/ drawbacks/downsides/ and negatives. I am pretty sure that pros and cons are not even used once by the examiners in any sample essays at the end of each Cambridge Book. Please, do once look at the use of pros and cons in IELTS writing. Please sir i have the impression that the essay is made up of 6 paragraphs. 1 for the introduction, 2 advantages in two paragraphs 2 disadvatages in 2 paragraphs and 1 paragraph for the conclusion.
