"Looking back I don't regret it, but sometimes I wish I could forget it. All those days we spent together. I could have lived like that forever." Yeah, me too. Me too.
Caught in the gleam of the city lights Sunsets and riversides I've been trying to forget the way you caught my eye Like a flame that's never gonna die Calling me back through December skies To campfires and state lines Sometimes it feels like you were never mine Like a ghost in the summertime Looking back I don't regret it But sometimes I wish I could forget it Caught in the rain on that summer night Your laughter had me so high Sometimes it's easy to forget the lies And the words that hurt me deep inside Driving alone down these city roads By the place we used to call home Part of me still fights to let it go But we both know it's over now Looking back I don't regret it But sometimes I wish I could forget it All those days we spent together I could have lived like that forever
I adore all of your music. It's funny, because I seem to rotate which song is my "favorite." At first "Downfall" was what I would listen to on repeat, and then "After Dark" and then "Tenebrous." But now "Afterburner" is something I always hit "replay" on. All of your stuff is so, so good.
Recently discovered Essenger. I love the heavier stuff (Blood Moon, After Dark, etc) but this is just beautiful....sad and beautiful. His emotion really comes through on this track. And the arrangement is top-notch. Amazing!!!
I actually stumbled upon this by accident while looking for something else... And I'm absolutely glad I did. Ended up discovering a lot of great music because of it. Thank you.
Only just stumbled upon this channel... My God, all his work is amazing. A real artist creating music that's a result of actual emotional experience - you can just tell. In my mind's eye I can see a movie entirely scored by this music. What a find.
Came across this song randomly on Spotify while I was listening to other similar music. Absolutely love it. It blows me away that you aren't more well known.
This song hits me hard in the feels. One of my favorites. Thank you Essenger for bringing us this timeless jam, and for all your other wonderful creations.
Your music is technically perfect, original sound, its like a mix of genres perfectly combines, its is really hard to creat something original in these days, thank you for your creation, keep it up
This is absolutely amazing. Something for those of us who are caught in the forgotten twilight zone between gen X and the millennials. Edit: Saw I've already commented on this. But still - it's a work of art. The more comments the better.
Mate just heard your music two days ago and I can't have enough!! Why aren't you more famous I don't understand😭 keep making great music you'll get there!!! God bless ya Essenger!!!
So I got dragged into you by the Empire of Steel tune, and half a dozen tunes later, I'm wondering how I managed to get to this point without your awesomeness. I'll fix that :D.
Really love this song guys! Is there a way in which i can use it in some of my 3d design videos? I can’t get my head around that solo. Anyway, you are awesome🤘🏼
I feel like Im driving Sunset to Sunrise, through the cityscape, called Metru-Nui, cops havent stopped me yet but theres this big bug on the windscreen
What genre of music is this? And can you recommend any songs similar to this one, from you or anyone else? Its literally perfect, can't stop listening. I've got it on repeat.
