Your collection is awesome! I had the honor of meeting Miko Hughes aka Gage from the 80s Pet Sematary and got both of his Funko Pops plus a photo signed and a photo with him. Was so happy since that is my favorite horror film. Hope to meet other horror icons in the future
@@ARealHorrorShow He is very nice. It was a pleasure meeting him. I was happy to meet him at a nearby con because he makes the movie. So those are grails in my collection
Excellent collection, thanks for sharing it , I love collecting horror memorabilia myself , but mostly stuff from the golden age of horror, Lugosi , Karloff etc..
Great collection! I've been collecting horror for around 40 years now and I'm running out of space! I work in the industry so the signatures, props and experiences I had on set are probably the things I hold most dear. That and my childhood monster toys from the early 1980's. The amount of mass produced high-quality screen accurate props now is insane. Mcfarlane changed everything with that Movie Maniacs line , NECA took over and toys are cooler than ever now.
Thank you!! I’d love to see your collection I can imagine you own some incredible pieces after collecting for so long! You’re right about the McFarlane movie maniacs line, so thankful for those figures as they paved the road for everything since!
Aside from my movie collection, I have all of the Neca figures, and everything Friday the 13th (movies, records, games, books, comics, etc.). Your collection is pretty awesome. 🔪 🩸
Love it! We have a lot of the same stuff. Life size good guys doll, evil dead necronomicon release, evild dead II hand, freddy glove and of course some of the NECA figures 😊 plenty of ideas here
I definitely agree with everything in this video minus the Neca part. Neca makes good AFFORDABLE figures or figures of obscure things BUT if you truly want to elevate your figure collection you are better off going with other companies that although might be more expensive but will give you a higher quality figure, with amazing packaging and waaaaaay more accessories then Neca ever will.
One thing I have been adding to my collection which can also be on the pricey side are animatronics and full size displays. In that collection I have 4 Killer Klowns from outer space (Shorty, Jumbo, Slim and Fatso) Sam from Trick r Treat and Art the Clown and they are displayed behind my TV
@ARealHorrorShow I actually have them on my youtube but The Shorty I have- he is the Spirit Halloween Animatronic and what got me started on this collection/build- Jumbo I made with the Don Post mask which has long since been retired and rare and sought after and he is completed with the Spirit Halloween costume on a mannequin- Slim same way with the mannequin and he is the ToTs mask and costume with a collar from Etsy. Fatso was actually very different and I wanted to make him where he was Shorter than Slim and Jumbo but bigger than Shorty and so I made a PVC mannequin and had to fill that up- (He still needs a bit of work but that's just me) and he is the Rubies Mask AND costume.... and as far the hands I actually repurposed The Shorty hands from Spirit and those are his hands and Shorty (rightfully so) has the boxing gloves. Now with rumors of a NEW Klown.... I usually have this logic of where if I don't have it in my collection, then it's a must- The Slim that came out last year while hewas nice I ALSO appreciate the one I have as well so he was a pass. Now if it's true AND it's (Allegedly) Spikey, I will have a total of- 5 Killer Klowns if I decide to get it lol
Great collection!! I love the NECA figures, they have so much detail, despite that they're only 7 or 8 inches tall.. I've ordered The Bride of Frankenstein figure that comes with the dungeon chair. I can't wait to see how it looks. NECA is coming out with a Christopher Lee Dracula figure. There's no set date yet. I heard a rumor that they may release it around September or October, near Halloween. Keep up the great work. You've definitely put a lot of work into your collection.
Thank you very much mate! That Frankenstein NECA set looks amazing! And im certainly going to be adding the Christopher Lee figure to the collection when he gets his release!
your collection is absolute fire bro, that I’ve acquired some of the things you have tells me I’m doing pretty good, preordered krampus yesterday and the sideshow beetlejuice in the last couple months cannot wait for those to arrive.
I have that evil dead book of the dead ! Lol and I have the original dawn of the dead ultimate edition anchor bay 4 disc set. So cool seeing your book of the dead.
Did you hear tots got the maniac cop license, did you grab the dead alive rat and the it’s alive baby from amok time? For the price of a mass produced mask you get a good prop, amok has been killin it lately, humanoids from the deep etc…
I haven’t seen that Dead Alive rat from Amok Time before thank you for telling me about it! We need more collectibles from that movie! I’ll keep my eye on that company from now on!
Great video as always. I used to focus solely on figures and then it turned more to physical media and prop replicas. I also have that 1:1 scale Chucky which is amazing…not signed however; so super jealous ;-) I have the trick or treat Chucky metal skull replica which is a great piece also, amongst other things. I do need a Freddy Glove though…been on my wish list for years now. I think NECA have two options, will have to make it happen!
Glad you enjoyed the video! It all starts with the action figures! The Chucky skull replica looks really cool and NECA also did a part 3 Freddy glove which I’d actually love to own one day as it’s also a beautiful replica!
@@ARealHorrorShow Yep, the dream warrior glove, a film I really enjoyed and very nostalgic for me! I will definitely go with one or the other in the coming months :)
@@ARealHorrorShow Hahaha sorry, I love them And im starting with the blu rays too, i share a lot the words you said about physical media 🙏🏼 I hope that some day I could have an amazing collection like yours
Physical media all the way. Let’s shut down these crap streaming rip off services. . Arrow video offer some very nice hard to get hold of releases and collectors editions. . HMV Online are also pretty cheap. You can buy one Blu-ray a month cheaper than your subscription. All the subscription TV channels are closely controlled, often you have to subscribe to multiple services to get a wide spectrum of movies. Sack them all off and go physical. Nice video. 👍 Rick Melton artwork and posters are also very nice.
Very well said! I always think about how many films people could buy on blu ray with the cost they’re spending monthly on multiple streaming services (which they also might not always use!!)
What started my horror collection was my neca 2018 7 inch Michael Myers from the 2018 film, and yes I highly recommend neca for any horror collector as well as Trick or Treat studios
