We visited Nassau, Bahamas for the first time this spring! We wanted to explore a little of the city and picked the Essential Nassau Sights & Flavors excursion thru Royal Caribbean. Boy, are we glad we did! Joe was our tour guide and he was FANTASTIC! The Distillery was closed on the day of our visit due to Bahamian Easter, so we did not get to visit, but the stops we did make were very fun!
We went to several places, including Atlantis (although our access was very limited), Queen's Staircase, and The Fish Fry. Our littlest Ramsey fell asleep on the bus, so thank you to Glen for filming some of the footage!

How much time did you get at the forts and the Queens staircase?

I’d say we had about 20-30 minutes at these stops. Not a ton of time, but enough to see it.

How much time did you spend on the bus vs enjoying the stops? Did you feel rushed or like you had enough time to enjoy everything? Thanks!

You spend a lot of time on the bus. We enjoyed the variety of things we got to see, but you don’t have much time at each stop. Hope that helps!

We chose not to, but others on our tour did. Some even stayed and walked back to the ship. We were not supposed to stop there but because it was Easter Monday, one of our other stops was closed and they switched it to this. (Our itinerary changed due to the unrest in Haiti.)
