Yes indeed ! It took me around a full year of writing the notes down when I had the time to do so (especially during my classes) and the whole purpose of it was to create something that I wish I stumbled upon when I was a beginner to learn from : a full detailed guide that covers pretty much everything at any level for Bayonetta Hope you’ll like it !
I've mained her since february 2016 and sadly i still play like her smash 4 release days. Ive never been able to do the flashy long ladder combos, so i really hope this video could help me with that :P

I just started watching, 17 mins in, did NOT know Z and the triggers are registered differently. That's probably why I could never consistently get float cancels down, I'll try this. Thank you!
Doing floats on Z is very… weird But for some moves and combos it’s very accessible. I use Y in general and Z for stuff that I explain within the video. But for Bayonetta it is much important, especially when it comes to jump canceling.
Im picking up bayo cuz of muteaces tier list. This video really help me confirm or change a lot of thoughts iv had about how to play her and I learned lots of important little stuff i only would of learned from paying close attention to a ton of high level sets so thanks for all the effort you put into this.

@@secretaire_ i mostly play with friends. i used to compete and do good at a local level in melee. maybe one day ill compete in ultimate but shes just fun af regardless. Picked her up cuz all my characters are bottom 50% and wanted something with a little sauce

49:03 having trouble with landing the reverse up airs im using z to jump and the c stick for the up airs but theres some mechanic that inputs attack if the timing is somewhat off.(kind of seems like releasing the stick at a certain time?) so if im holding towards richter with my left stick after turning around and attempting up air i often get a back air instead. if i dont hold a direction on my left stick it comes out as nair. im not sure if this is an issue with my controller or something everyone just works around would really appreciate some help.
1) That could be your controller but I doubt that since you are using both sticks separately. 2) You might be angling your c-stick in a way that you feel like (with your thumb) that does an upair but the game registers it as a backair instead, so you might have to be aware of that when you are practicing. For that specific combo, you kinda have 2 options : - The first one being buffering the turnaround out of the uptilt since you can do that (same thing for Heel Slide too!). You can do that by holding your analog stick toward the direction of your choice right after uptilt and holding it for a moment, then, you do backair. - The second one is pure reaction-based, which I mostly do. Uptilt has an insane amount of hitstun that you can : react to a DI/SDI > execute what you want. Here, that is what I do and it gives you enough time to just turnaround double jump backair. There is no science behind it so just go in the training mode and practice different ways to do that ! If it’s outside that specific scenario, I just turn around REALLY fast and then full hop/double jump out of it, and then do something. Out of a run, it’s a regular RAR input but with a full hop/double jump
@@secretaire_ Thanks. Is the modpack installed on your switch or computer? I found it and it appears it can be installed on the switch (I think it has to be rooted though) or on a computer.
This is a good video full of good advice but goddamn does it need to be edited down. There’s probably a solid 4 hours of silence in between your words when you freeze up or mess up a combo examble.
The video has been edited down a lot before posting it. I'm not going to do blank hard cuts the second I miss something during an exemple or something, it'll be just too bothersome to watch and not fluid at all (and I just mess up once or twice on a exemple, then, I do the cut.)
