Estate Jewelry Haul! I purchased an entire display of vintage brooches and earrings from a local shop. Let's look through them together and see what we find!
Absolutely fun video !!! So many nice & beautiful brooches. I absolutely love the ones that look like a big star ⭐, the beautiful blue 💙 & amber colored ones !!! WOW the last one you showed that was long & narrow that was very shiny & looked like diamonds all over it was absolutely Beautiful & Gorgeous !!! Enjoyed your video very much !!! ❤️🙂
The piece at mark 26.47 is an earring. The company that made them was in Indiana in the 1950s. They were designed to be a comfortable clip on earring. The company was Hillcraft /Castlecraft. Look them up they were hand made by woman working at home and sold for parties. There are some very beautiful ones out there
Absolutely stunning! I wish I had your luck finding that awesome little vintage store. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to the next video. Quick question. From what angle do you video? How do you set up your camera/phone to get the angle you have for your videos. I usually video in a light box doing my jewelry videos. I also bought a ring light with phone holder to do some videoing from other angles, but when I put my phone on there, it like wiggle slightly, which makes me nuts. Your videos are always so close up and I like your video angle. Let me know and thanks.
Thank you for watching!! I use a ring light with a phone holder- mine can be a little shaky too. I just try my hardest not to knock it while filming! I usually set it up front of me and sit behind the stand. Probably not the best set-up but it works out okay. :)
I use white vinegar and water mixture to clean verdigris usually- but ketchup also works well! The acidity will eat away at the verdigris and then I rinse with warm soapy water. ❤️ Hope that helps!
I do like to add them to collars on jean jackets- or even just on a sweater on the chest off to the side. Another fun thing is to add them to hats or to wear them on necklace. They make great enhancers on a strand of beads/pearls. Truthfully though- I mainly love to display them in my curio cabinet and admire them! I only wear them occasionally. ❤❤❤
