I just want to tell everyone that is trying to pass the written test is that simple. Study and be confident! It is not a big deal!!! It is just an exam with 110 tests. Be calm and do it. Everyone is very nice where you will take your test. They are there to help you. My school made a big deal and terrorized us about the test. It freaked me out. When I went there everyone was super nice, very professional!!! It is not difficult. Study and you will pass it. Don’t worry because there is no reason to worry about it. Go and get it done. Don’t wait after school to take it. I did waited and that was a mistake. Again it is not difficult. Study and passed it. A lot of about infection control, bacterias, virus, procedures to avoid contamination, hair structure, skin, disorders and diseases, products, advanced topic treatment, massage. They asked about massage called fulling??? I did not know about it. It is Petrissage. My school never said that was Petrissage. They will ask about blood exposure for sure…. Like I said it is not difficult. It is not easy but it is not difficult. English is not my first language and it did very well. If I can do it you can do it!!!

I’ve actually all these videos down to the ninth video and I also was watching the videos, but it’s way easier than you read it out loud and answer out loud I do appreciate it and I’m also gonna download this cosmetology guru guide I found google going over this video helps me as well and I like to go back and start from this first video all the way to nine and repeat everything from my memories so far so good. I haven’t taken my state board yet but I will keep you posted. I’m giving myself grace and more time to study so I can be comfortable, but definitely by October! 2024

I graduated in Dec 2023. Took my written exam in Jan this year and I failed... I found your channel and had been reviewing your Esthetician study guides. Today is August 21 2024 and I had my exam booked for today. Guess what? I PASSED. The questions were switched around still tricky but since I studied I was able to pass the questions. Thank you sooooo much Yari, I appreciate your education and trainings. This made my day I'm almost there. Now the second part of the exam is the PSI and that should be simple. Thank you again ❤

Hello there, so I passed my theory Written. Your videos are very helpful, I can see why you let us know to also study in the book. I also used Quizzlets I don’t know if I spelled that correctly, I will say I did not prefer that, but it does help. I also used the Esthetician app that U can get in the App Store for anybody who’s looking. I found the theory written to be very hard and I was surprised that I passed, but of course I was excited.. I take my written practical this coming Thursday afternoon I had to schedule them separately as they didn’t have time that week to do them together. Can you please tell me what videos to take for written Practical, I’m not clear on which ones are theory and which are practical. I will happily be donating to your mission when I start making money. You are very talented and I thank you so much for helping all of us.

Start off by looking up your state cosmetology commission and the license requirements for esthetician and information about the test, either way all of the study material can help you prepare for it, with the only exception of the laws rules and regulations information since each state has its own.

All of the theory practice test video can help you with your CA theory exam, with the exception of the laws rules and regulations you have to review for your state .
All of the practice test have a variety of questions from different areas of the test, but if you are looking for the full theory information for the ones you are asking about please look at the esthetician playlist for all of the full theory videos. Infection control and ch 8 facial treatments is what I believe you are asking about.

Hi Do not give up, what you are going through it actually happens to many. Although it’s an additional expense and I honestly do not have much information over it but you can call psi and ask about translating the test for you if you are needing a different language other than (Spanish, Vietnamese) see what options they give you. 🍀🍀🍀

It’s going to sounds like the whole book lol But Ch. 8 facial treatments Ch 4 skin disease and disorders Ch 5 skin analysis Ch 10 facial machines & devices Ch 11 hair removal And of course ch 5 infection control is a must and if your in Texas laws rules and regulations huge part
do i have any hope to passing my esthetician exam ? i took it up to 12 times within 2018-2022 & still failed, is it worth it to still keep trying ? i don’t know what to do, i’m desperate & it seems like no one can help me . all i wanted to do is get passed my written exam, it’s been 5yrs since i graduated from Esthetician school with the lack of knowledge & im close to giving up again .
If it’s something you truly want to do and you are passionate about than even if it means taking the test 100 times until you pass, it’ll be worth it , do not give up, create a study schedule and start from the very beginning. Go to the esthetician playlist and listen to the theory information first all the chapters, I have tons of study guides that are short , followed by the practice questions and answers. You can and will pass but you have to have discipline and put in the time to study. 🍀🍀🫶🏼
