i want to add to the video, that begode already released the firmware we asked to fix it.... and now steven wants a different tyre. so its almost ready for next race....... and thx zen lee for reviewing my wheel...

I'm still looking at the ET Max over the Lynx. I've got the body strength to really muscle around wheels. As you said, waiting for batch 3/4.

Just got mine Friday actually; everything is working phenomenally and there seems to be zero issues. Retailers like alienrides/ewheels have also said that they haven’t come across issues. I think it’s a go!

Any idea what the firmware version is for that wheel? I have poor torque on my demo unit but the older firmware was much better

get the last one, this video is like 2 weeks old and i updated myself the firmware on that wheel. thing was that when i gave the wheel to steven suddenly changes wont apply via app, and pedals were inclined so it was dangerous to ride with it at high speeds. Now the new firmware fix it.

resetting pedal height is kinda a pain, but I recommend trying at lowest setting. Also recommend trying soft setting, and I always ride Begode wheels on hard mode. my first impression of ET Max is also really good. that weight is the first thing that struck me, but it's ride feel is solid right away.

I got the first batch. I haven’t had any issues with it except that it only charges up to 95%. I never had any wobbles. But that doesn’t mean I never will. I’ve only taken it up to 55mph. But it is an awesome wheel. It’s a great street wheel.

I had BAD wobbles on my second day of ownership going maybe 40ish mph; I was just so confident with the smoothness it gave me coming from 16” wheels like the InMotion V12HS and Veteran Patton. Luckily I saved it with that invisible chair braking technique; I think everyone needs to learn it.

I put a shinko 244 on my ET max and it feels really nice, and my impression of the shock after 500 miles is really positive, although it does top out sometimes on trails even with the rebound turned down

Do you like that tire? I'm thinking about putting it on my Lynx for primarily off-road but some street and I don't go super fast on the road. My existing Kenda knobby tire is very out of balance if you test it on a free spin and I have gotten some serious wobbles.

Nice video it is the same price as the lynx, I love how muost ppl equate acceleration to torque with an euc. that is the biggest thing I see ppl do in the euc community and they are different but I know why u do it. anyway good video & have fun... BTW I thought you said it was a cow... see never say things like that, they come back to haunt you... I own a lynx & wouldnt trade it for an ex-30 as the lynx is the best off-road racer and so much fun .

Zen on an ET max??? and making it look like light work! especially since it wasn't dialed in for ya and there was some rain. I don't like how Begode is requiring sellers to have uniform pricing on it. if what I heard is correct, EUCungerground is selling it at that price yet also including a free Mten4.

might look into trials style motorcycle boots - Boulder, Sidi, others - designed for more standing/flexibility, traction. Motorcycle boots do take a while to wear in, and take away some ride feel, but are very protective

Yup,going forward and backward but you have to use your body to actually lean and turn the wheel

I’ve been noticing some tiltback at higher speeds and quick changes from uphill to downhill. I guarantee that it’s just the firmware and that it’ll be fixed in time. I believe I have the second batch, and everything works phenominally! The torque at higher speeds is unmatched; I can speed up and pass cars on main roads with no problem!

@@boblatkey7160 idk, that depends too. like, there are some things people can claim while not having the direct experience, but still be sorta spot on. my problem with Zen Lee here is that he didn't even acknowledge the fact he was wrong in the video. he could of at least said "oh myb viewer, i spent a good while talking down on this thing here, and yeah i was wrong" or something along those lines.
