*About The Game
A small town is being taken over by ghouls. Solve puzzles, carefully read notes and use various weapons against horrific and evolving enemies to uncover what is behind this gruesome event. Eternal Evil is an old-school survival-horror game.
An apocalyptic event is destroying a small town. Its citizens are turning into bloodthirsty ghouls, attacking the remaining humans, who are hopelessly trying to survive. The situation is dire, but maybe you can turn it around. Uncover what or who caused it and why. To accomplish this, you will have to use firearms, carefully inspect objects and notes, explore the surroundings and solve puzzles.

I liked this game, the dev has a clear understanding of how a survival horror map should be designed. He just needs to work more on polishing it.

Very interesting game, kinda a first person "Resident Evil", but not the story. It has a different mythos. ELDRIMAR another game based in the "Eternal Evil" world but more "sword and sorcery" in the future.

looks pretty good, definitely has that RE1 feel with the writing/voice acting which can always be tightened up, and the enemies are a little bullet spongy but very cool

This comic "style" is done to say time, resources & money; which totally makes sense with one developer and not a knock against. If it had full cutscenes then I'd question the world as a whole. Nice RE clone

Glad you added a shotgun no zombie game should be without a good ol shotgun I like the dark scary scenery but the zombies look a little too plastic I may say maybe a bit more realistic look not so shiny , but all in all a great game nice and scary

Looks like one creator who really loves his Resident Evil, because lot of setups and scenarios look like RE1 remake (mansion) and RE2 (streets). Gonna give this a try and hope it's not bug-infested release.

I agree, especially shooting so many times in the head and it keeps on walking. it shouldn't take no more than 1-2 bullets to kill from headshot. what they think they are, terminators?

I was writing the same. And the Flash scorpions 😂 but I think that will be a great game. Is made by just one guy so he have my respects, but for real, he must check the system with headshooting. Resident Evil Dead Aim toke that like a serious thing.

exactly how RE1 was lol, RE2 remake too kinda, but RE1 original, it was anywhere between 7-15 shots per zombie kill. It was rough but thats also what made the game have "the fear" turn a corner and a zombies ontop of you fully knowing its gonna take you a magazine to kill it while controlling the equivalent of a tank 😂 Did a lot with a little for horror. Also seems like this game punishes you for spam hip-fire, noticed alot of the shots werent actually landing

Well, RE1! There was 4 bullets, and the fifth some times wasn't a real hit because zombies did "pool fall" like cheating football. Then you spent two and they were so dead, but being fair, in RE1 you can't shoot in the head with a pistol gun. You just shoot to the mass center. The shotgun had "the trick" aiming a little high from near and Colt Python blowing heads wile mass center was aimed 😂😂😂 The shooting system in this game needs a reajustment in my opinion. Head is head, I mean. Edit: I liked so far the Director's Cut random blowing bullets.

8:03 Why is this still a thing in modern games? If a gun is already loaded and cocked, YOU DON'T HAVE TO COCK IT AGAIN! Doing so will result in dispensing a unspent shell.

I know some people give this developer crap because he has about 7 games that are pretty much similar with this game the Ebola franchise as well as the survival & horror franchise The only thing that holds these games back in my humble opinion is it the enemies not having a reaction to getting shot if they had stumbled mechanics like shooting them in the kneecaps would make them fall or stagger or shooting him in the head would stun them as well as work the health system a little bit more This is something that honestly could rival resident evil in a lot of aspects the atmosphere is the are the games look absolutely wonderful and I feel these games are more horror than what resident evil is except for maybe like resident evil 7

Really impressive! That shotgun reload animation is really wonky though, why would you put a bullet in the chamber from the top instead of just pumping it once and stuffing another one into the magazine tube?

Mr. V(35:00? 😂) is a little bit to be desired in fair criticism lol, even with all your healing he beat the crap out of you on a seemingly regular mode, also with higher ammo spawns. His jump's super janky, and he's a little too fast. I like what they're going for but would definitely tone that way down 😂 Would replace his run with a lunge with his hand out that goes in a straight trajectory if it connects it does 1-1.5 health state (should be a point to avoid it), the jump is fine to make him "catch up to the player" but I would put around a 1~ second animation delay on it before he punches after leaping, so if you're already fleeing and not actually shooting at him, he doesn't just get cheap free hits off. Would be a fine boss fight, but feel like if you go into that fight without having a good bit of healing on you, you're gonna be forced to look for a method of cheesing him and thats not fun though. Actually can see it in the 2nd boss the scorp. lol Were REALLY low on healing and cause the enemy designs got some janky animations it ends up hitting you like 4 times in a row out of nowhere.

From the opening image, and the epilogue of the game context, it is clear that this is a game inspired by the father of all "survival horror", Resident Evil. It seems to be a promising game.

I've seen this game on the steam store, and I have been thinking of getting it, so when this playthrough popped up, i decided to watch and get a better idea of how this game works. i think even now this game is still considered an early access game. Those zombies sure can take a lot of hits before going down. The games atmosphere looks realy well done for a lone developer.

there's a button to check your ammo. just use that instead of opening your inventory the game literally tells you a button to check your bullets. game looks awesome.

Looks good and interesting, but unfortunately it looks way to easy, no ennemies or monster to challenge you, they are so slow that they can't even reach you if you move, so it kind of becomes boring, always the same, compare to a resident evil game where it can be very hard and challenging during boss fights, or even many zombies in a small room, etc.

very nice atmosphere, reminds me of RE1 with a little Nosferatu too, weapon animation, sounds, and movement looks nice, even better than some top titles, well done to the dev:)
