I would say "did I just die, am I hallucinating or is this the voice of god?" Or "yeah welp, I'm dead, I passed on! Or am I just makings stuff up and was that the voice of god or?"
JESUS that story was crazy... and also so Canadian? Lol for some reason that's one of the first things that came to mind: 1. That sounds terrifying for the girl and 2. Etho walking around in the woods trying to see if anyone needs his help, and the girl being like "I'm in here ya know" Something about storytelling brings out Etho's Canadian accent 😂
🎶I need an Etho, I'm holding out for an Etho till the end of the night, he's gotta be Canadian, he's gotta have an Anime skin, he's gotta be fresh from the Mine(craft)! 🎶
"God is to us a God of deliverances; And to God the Lord belong escapes from death." -Psalm 68:20 I heard Etho tell this story and i was in just absolute shock and awe. I find myself thinking "Praise God! The holy spirit kept that girl alive!" Good job Etho! It's amazing that he happened to be there and i don't think it was a coincidence.
You are shitting right? He have said she was "perfectly fine" and only freaking out. It's not like she lost a leg also big chunk of branch stabbed her through whole body which attached her to the seat and he is telling the story laughing. What is the point of saying "oh he even laughing"? Of course he would laugh.
You can make light of a bad time to dull the pain of others and after a while when all the smoke has cleared people can look back not at the sadness but at the joy
He got a plastic bag stuck around his car axle, so for a long time after when he would drive, the bag would start melting, and the smell was atrocious, from what he described
Its kinda fascinating how mysterious he still is after like 10+ years of making content. Compared to other youtubers, he has not changed dramatically but he has evolved. He is still the humble nice friendly man he has always been.
That's a scary thing, coming up on a bad car crash in the dark, alone. I happened to see someone fall asleep, drift off the left edge of the road, wake up, overcorrect, and shoot across both of the eastbound lanes and down an embankment into trees to the right of the highway in the middle of the night. I was the only one to see it and stopped. I was really dreading finding something gruesome when I got to the bottom of the embankment, but luckily the driver was alive and more or less intact (with a badly broken leg but otherwise in one piece still). Definitely glad I checked on the crash though, I can't imagine how long he would have been down there (completely invisible from the road, leg pinned between the seat and dash, headlights out). Not to mention the massive guilt I would have felt had I not done it. The police made it extra fun by yelling at my wife who had stayed in the car with our very young kids because she incorrectly estimated the mile marker we were at on the highway (in the middle of the night, in the middle of nowhere) and they took the wrong exit trying to find us the first time. Super cool...never mind that nobody would have called at all had she not, that extra five minutes it took to get there was worth being rude to someone doing their best in a bad situation. Ask me if I'm still bitter about it 14 years later...
Thank you for that, as someone who had something similar happen to me. Some good samaritans pulled us out of the wreckage, got us back up the hill, and called an ambulance for us. I am really grateful for them every day.
Etho didn't hesitate to check if anyone was in danger, even if the scene could have been very gruesome from his description, 120km/h is no joke. That's a good man right there.
Imagine if the girl was an Etho fan and watches this; realizing that he was saved by him and didn't even knew it was him, lol Well I guess she has a lot more things to worry about, having a wrecked car and all
Br0dyman sounds so much like Tango here that I was confused for a while. Like, "Did Tango grow hair?? He can't look that different if he just grew his hair out."
holy shit surviving a 120 kmph crash and coming out the other side intact is lucky. If i remember correctly the speed where you can survive a car crash and almost certainly walk away is 30 kph (our town's going through some speed changes since so many people get into car crashes)
Etho is a legend for going out and checking on them! He said about something happening before and he didn't check on them, and he felt bad afterwards because they could have been dying. This is a lesson which surprisingly a lot of people need to learn is to check on people. I learnt it the hard way a few weeks ago, and I will never make the mistake again. If you think someone might be in pain or danger, help them. It can, and in many cases will save a life.
I was expecting Etho to have used his incredibly large muscles to push the car back on it's side, before using his incredibly large brain to fix and then deck out the car with a Turbo motor before driving her to the hospital (which he owns since he's both wealthy and very generous)
One rime my family was driving out of a national park and while we were a few miles outside the nearby town, the truck in front of us rode up the hill and flew upside down into a huge ravine. The dude was completely wasted and claimed there was actually a woman with him who was driving (there wasn't) so the police kept us there for an hour while they searched for her. My brother got especially excited when a helicopter came down to get the guy to the hospital. The park was really nice though
holy shit etho sounds completely completely different now, he sounds so much more like kurtjmac now! even his laugh! and the way he elaborates and uses more of his throat instead of his breath when speaking, its so completely different in this. wow, been a few years and so different
Had a similar experience with a different set if circumstances. Letting my dog out before going to work at 5:00am. I hear a pop noise and my eyes fell on some flickering orange of a reflection in the bottom trim of my neighbors car parked on their lawn that sat directly back from my house. I look above thier house and see a bit of smoke. A fire. I rushed over with a bum foot and get to the front and their other car parked in the driveway was in the early stages of a car fire. Parked 6 feet from the house. Called 911, banged on their door to get them up and out. Elderly mother and son. Village FD got there just as the vinyl siding was starting to fall off and the wood underneath was smoking. If I hadn't noticed, no one would have until it was too late.
Something that I just thought about is that for faceless RU-vidrs, there’s tens of thousands of people that know what they look like, but just don’t make the association
i feel like starving as walter is the worst thing that could happen. hungers at zero, which is reducing your health, which in turn is reducing your sanity. hes not a wes but walter is still a hard character to play. also yeah that etho story was cool i guess
Some of us like myself or that girl, just can't be hurt my car crashes. About a year ago I almost had head crushed in. But did I? Nah. Seatbelt saved me. But I almost died, it's not a fun time let me tell ya.
I don't know if anyone else said it but I also admire how he felt like he made a mistake in the past by not checking. A lot of people aren't strong enough to admit things like that ❤
Thats crazy, the exact same thing happened to me but in reverse, I crashed my car in the woods, and some guy came running out of the woods and was like "are you okay?" It wasn't Etho obviously, just smashed straight into a tree, and I wasnt stuck in the car or anything, also I was with like three other people.
He is a real hero but hearing the story again sounds like Etho knew exactly how fast the car was going and exactly what happened despite not seeing it happen which feels like he was the one who caused the crash trying to kill his next victim and I find a psycho murderer etho pretty hilarious especially coming from the Life series
Love how several people in chat missed the start of the story and for some reason thought etho had CAUSED A CAR ACCIDENT and I just find that hilarious 1
I am so happy that I finally had the speed in kilometers, b/c a lot of youtubers I watch use miles or Fahrenheit, and then I have to look up what the conversion is so I can understand what they mean. Go Canadians!
@@kookspook6984 So you completely understand the very slight annoyance it is. Not that it's hard to do, but usually when I'm watching with someone else they find it annoying when I insist on pausing the video, looking it up, then going back to the video.
@@Anon.G I must not be every Canadian then. 🤣🤣 Sure, I remember the basic conversions, like 100 C is 212 F, 0 C is 32 F, 40 C is 40 F. 100 km is about 60 miles. But besides that, I don't know much else.
Didn't he tell a story a long while back of some four-year old recognizing him? (the story was like 8 years back, so the kid's like 12 now) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zSd6MbgpqWw.html&pp=ygUQRXRob3NsYWIgc3Rvcmllcw%3D%3D
I wanna say this I always liked Ethos Minecraft skin and one day I had a friend who didn’t watch hermit craft see ethos’s skin and said “That’s Kakashi” and I somehow never realised his skin is Kakashi
When i was in high-school i was in a treefort in a forest near the main road through town, with a bunch of friends after school. All of the sudden we heard a tremendous boom, which was a young couple walking being hit by a car from behind. Life can be cruel
