You have to appreciate Etho’s dedication to more ‘traditional’ RU-vid channel. He doesn’t hire editors or even use thumbnails, no clickbait titles, and he reads 90% of the comments! Thats HUNDREDS of comments every video. Thanks for everything you do Etho!

Finding out that Etho reads 90% of the comments means that there’s a 90% chance that we can catch *him* off-guard and call out his mum for once. There is hope once again.

Seeing the cocoa beans in that dungeon chest was a pretty weird feeling, it really hit home just how ancient etho's world is. Cocoa beans were removed from dungeons 7 and a half years ago, but since the dungeon was close to spawn, it was probably generated around 9 years ago near the start of the world. I just think it's crazy that those dungeons have lain untouched since they generated 9 years ago.

It's funny how Etho says he got rid of all the useless stuff and then also removed diamonds from the menu as well. Classic Etho getting rid of those blue shiny rocks to make the classic blue fire.

Hey Etho, when you drop off items at the Nexus you could try to run the water stream over the new extension first so that it automatically restocks those chests before the items go into bulk storage! ;)

i love etho’s take on storage management in this game. he’s always coming up with new and interesting ways to store items and retrieve them, each more intuitive than the previous, while others just want an inventory update. and imo an inventory update goes against the fun of working with what you have and creating your own little work arounds, just like furniture and how mojang refuses to ever add that.

etho now being a more abstract builder is SUCH an interesting growth from how he used to be in the early episodes of this series.... like to be fair there were not as many blocks as there are now but seeing him evolve and experiment with new types of building to eventually fall into a gorgeous style thats completely his is so rewarding!!!

I know this will most likely go unnoticed, but I suffer from an anxiety disorder so severe that it can physically cripple me at times. Your quirky videos and loving community have helped me through so much in my life. I just recently went into my Sophomore year of college, and I can still remember when I found you through AntVenom when I was in elementary school. You could set up a dyeing station near the Nexus, so you would only have to store flowers and unstained glass. It would save a lot of space, if you can sacrifice some convinience.

Etho I just want to say how awesome of a figure you are for everyone who watches your videos. Especially for the long time viewers such as me and a lot of others I think getting to tune into the “same old” Minecraft RU-vidr is something really special. It allows you to hold onto that little piece of that childhood game everyone loves/loved to play. Despite some of us getting older, going to college, maybe even finishing it, or getting a job/family whatever it may be. Being able to still tune into Ethoslab is in a way a “security blanket” because it’s been apart of so many of our lives for so long. With that being said thank you so much Etho, don’t underestimate the impact you truly have/had on peoples lives, and never stop uploading! Take care!

Etho, I just wanted to say it's been years since I watched one of your videos, thank you for being part of my childhood memories. I wouldn't have wanted anyone else except your wholesome lets-plays and personality. I always watched one of your videos after school no matter what. Keep it up man, so glad you're sticking to what you enjoy and not move on like all the other RU-vidrs I used to watch.

Alright, if Etho really does read 90% of his comments, hopefully he will finally see this. I've been trying to tell him this for almost five years now. Etho, there is a witch hut located very close to your base at X: 130, Z: -400. You have clearly seen it before some time ago as you placed a block near it. Also it has appeared in the background of some of your more recent videos, including one of the times you farmed wither roses using snow golems. You can easily build a witch farm near your main base and not have to travel far to that other one in amplified terrain. Hopefully he does see this.

At this point, if I didn’t know who built something on the Hermitcraft server, I could probably guess who built it.” And the other Hermits can do the same with your builds! Those open-concept roofs, interior-exteriors, and block palette choices are absolutely Etho signature! :D

I never used to have access to the internet at home when I was school-age, so I didn't really 'discover' RU-vid until I was in my early 20s. I was about to watch Cabin In The Woods on the TV with my sister when my phone rang, so I ended up missing the first half of the movie. I was going to read a synopsis to catch up, so I searched for Cabin in the Woods on Google...and a video from Vintage Beef's Life in the Woods Renaissance series popped up (Cabin in the Woods was one of his episode titles). I'd only just gotten into playing Minecraft, and Beef became my introduction to mods. I then watched a collab with Team Canada, saw Etho do some super cool, crazy stuff with redstone, and I was hooked. He's endlessly entertaining, more intelligent than he gives himself credit for, makes the best jokes (sometimes by accident) and yet he's humble. Ten years later and I'm still watching. Thank you for everything, Etho, and I hope doing this still makes you happy and fulfilled for years to come.

I still remember the episode you anounced a "giant project", that would not just be known as a meme in the channel, but also as "The Nexus". When you first explained what it was going to be, I was amazed, and everytime you improve it I get this really precious nostalgia and pride to be here watching you all this time! You're incredible Ergo, always an incredible feeling to receive the notification of a new LP episode :)

I haven't watched this series in 4 years. I remember the world tours. I jumped into the series at just before episode 200 instead of from the beginning. Back then I didn't get one of the references to season 1 when I got blown up in a world download. But I would still watch this series before and after school. I remember when 1.8 came out and Etho explored the new biomes in unexplored terrain in the world. He found an area where guardians would spawn in old terrain because of the seed, so he made a massive grinder there. I remember how he was constantly troubleshooting Wilson. And from what I've heard, the Nexus is still incomplete? I'm not exactly surprised that he still does this series to this day, but it's just... It feels so weird to hear the word "Piglin" in the voice of a Minecraft RU-vidr I haven't heard in 4 years. I remember back when I still followed the series, every time a new update came out, he would immediately experiment with all the new features and then see how he could incorporate them into builds new and old as well as making grinders for new mobs when possible. Sometimes updates would break old redstone machines and grinders. But fast forward a bit, and I recently realized Minecraft is just so different from what it was even a couple updates ago, so it made me wonder, "How's Etho doing? This last update must've broken his old gold farm that used iron golems. And I haven't visited the series in so long..."

I know he isn't alone in this, as there are many RU-vidrs who do the same, but I really appreciate how much time and effort Etho puts into his videos. The Nexus took hours, the gold farm took hours, and who knows how long he spent looking for those spawners. Then we consider the time taken to plan out the episode, because although it isn't scripted, Etho still has an idea of what he's going to do before he starts recording. And what he said at the end about reading 90% of our comments, I'd consider that part of his job as a content creator too. All that time and effort to produce only a 30 minute episode. I'm so grateful!

It would be nice to see the caving, sounds chill. Maybe at the end of episodes, like the Decked-Out games?

Is there a reason why you used a chain and not a half slab? because i can't see why the loot wouldnt flow to the center, aswell as prevent the baby pig mans from falling into the sorter if you used a slab instead of a chain/endrod

Hey Etho, you're the only Minecraft youtuber I've consistently watched since I found you way back when you had 800k-ish subscribers. I don't quite know how to describe it but every video of yours is very entertaining in a unique way that no other youtuber I've ever watched or subscribed to has seemed to capture. No matter how bad my day has been, seeing a new video from you has always brightened my day. Even the week I crashed my motorcycle and lost my job wasn't as bad while I was watching your videos. (I'm much better a year later though) I'd like to thank you for making videos as long as you have and I'm so glad I found your channel years ago. I may not play Minecraft very often anymore as I have a hard time focusing and motivating myself in-game, but your videos will always be something I eagerly look forward to watch.

Every time I come back to your channel I always am scared that you stopped uploading or changed. But every time I look, you’re still the same person uploading the same type of videos and it truly is a breath of fresh air with how RU-vid is nowadays.
