Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at this B&B exterior RV cable TV inlet. Now this plate style exterior mount with two coaxial cable inlets for your RV are going to connect incoming TV, internet, or satellite coax cables to your rig. And this does have a transfer rating of one gigahertz per inlet. And these attached covers are gonna do a great job of sealing out water and dust while you're going down the road or when these are not in use. And if you hear them snap into place, (inlet snaps) then you can see that these are going to secure into place.
You're not gonna have to worry about these accidentally coming open when you're going down the road. So they've got a really good secure connection when you have them closed. Now this is made here in the USA of UV stabilized plastic, so you're not gonna have to worry about this fading. And this is going to resist salt and chemical. So it's going to hold up really well for you against the elements that it's going to be constantly exposed to.
As you can see here, mounting hardware is included along with butyl tape. What I really appreciate about many of the B&B products is that I look at, I see their screws and they will be color matched on the heads there, so it'll match right with the black plastic here. So that's a nice touch that they add to a lot of their screws. And the butyl tape of course you're going to use to put around the perimeter here and then run the screws through to seal out moisture or water seeping in behind this. So that butyl tape is included.
Now let me go ahead and give you some dimensions just so you have a good idea of the size and so you can be confident that this is going to work for you. So looking at the overall length, you can see we're at four inches. The overall height, we are right at three inches tall. That cutout dimension is going to be 2 1/2 inches diameter. And we have a two screw hole, a two-hole screw pattern rather.
And I thought maybe you would like the measurement on center, those holes there. So as I'm lining that up and looking upside down, looks like we're sitting right at 3 3/8 inches on center, not quite 3 1/2 inches. So again, it includes everything that you see here. Very durable, very rugged. I think it's gonna be a very easy install as well. I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that our brief time together was helpful for you.
