The original version of this mod might be an interesting way to shake up one of your longer campaigns, both to break up AI hugboxes and to give some challenge to the late game
I just played a 500 year campaign playing as the papal state and it made for some amazing stories like the Italian Cuba that helped the native Americans resist colonization until the mid 1700’s until the pope (parent country of Cuba) came back and conquered the whole new world
One of the most insane border gore situations that ever happened was in an Ironman Netherlands run during which the most powerful France I've ever seen suddenly got eaten up by a released Orleans and then became an OPM, which I then vassalized and reconquested all of the French region with. Also Aragon got somehow released as a one province nation in menorca which I also used to reconquest half of an also quite powerful Spain.
most bordergore moment was when i was playing as the Iroquois. I had just formed the Iroquois confederacy and i was waiting for a european to start colonizing. Instead of the first europeans i saw being the French, the Spanish, or the Portuguese, I was cursed with seeing "Breton New England".
I know this may be hard to code but is it possible to make it so whenever a country goes to war with anyone, it's rivals immediately after go to war against the country?
I think the icon is from heroes of might and magic twilight skill. Man funny i still recognise it after all this time. Love the observer content by the way.
14:30 i did a multiplayer game when we did the religious wars we won fairly soundly and enforced religious peace deal or whatever the war goal name is and the dudes playing with me thought I didn't take anything in the peace deal when I had just enough to do the war goal
Craziest AI bordergore: after conquering the raj as the British, I had to fight Scandinavia to get Pakistan from them They snaked all the way to India through the steppes after Muscovy never formed Russia and collapsed
Border gore? Perhaps let me introduce you to when that opm Yas in arabia managed to conquer the timurids, then was force-converted to catholicism by Portugal (who for some reason took the most op combination of religious ideas I've ever seen for conversions), and then got a personal union over the Commonwealth.
Gigantic Finland. Idk what happened, but Finland took over Sweden and Norway and formed Scandinavia later in the game. l was so shocked after that like what?
I think 100 years is very few for the beginning of decay I mean, ottoman golden age is maybe 2-2,5 centuries from the start of the game Russia's is 17th-20th Frances is until the end of the Napoleonic wars, etc It's good challenge for the player, but not for the ai, because they absolutely won't survive that And I think this option must be propagated for, like, first three of the GP, because, f.e., eight GP may not reach the first in 100 years, if this is an ai But great video, I enjoyed it!
Give solo province islands a big boost…some institutions, money, advanced tech and development equal to Ming. Gotland, Cyprus, etc If this has already been done…please drop link in the comments.
@@Chewbert really? I've never seen them form before and I have played sooo many games with multiple mods that balkanize europe. Nice to hear that it's a feature tho
Cool video. Interesting development of things. Quite unexpected. I'd suggest alternate some videos simulating scenarios with regular playing. Perhaps trying some less common nations or unusual achievements.
