Lord, I pray that this man, Scott Hahn, has his eyes opened to the truth of Your Word and that he is able to see how this religion has made the Blood of Christ insufficient to save to the uttermost and at the same time lifted His mother Mary to a level that even she would be ashamed to receive. May all Catholic's have their spiritual eyes opened that they might see the many errors that they are being lead into, which does jeopardize the salvation of their souls! Amen! Thank You Lord for bringing me into Your heavenly priesthood and counting me worthy of being Your witness that I might speak against the works of the evil one for it is obvious that he has blinded the eyes of many and used his art of confusion to deceive multitudes of people. May Your Word pierce the darkness that keeps them from seeing Your marvelous light in Jesus' Name!

Our lord Jesus Christ also had 4 transfigurations… The first was when he transfigured his Holly Spirit into our Holly Mother Marys whomb becoming The encarnated Jesus. The second, is when Jesus transfigured in front of the apostoles and they saw his Glory. The 3rd is in the last supper when he instituted the eucharist sacrament transfiguring his body and blood into the bread and the 4th transfiguration is when he resurrects into a Glorified body. Thank for your enlightening teachings Dr Hann! May you keep being blessed with the Holly Spirit wisdom and gifts!!

Thank you Dr Scott for amazing insights. I have one question in my mind regarding holy Eucharist. During Passover, holy Thursday, when Jesus blessed,broke the bread and gave them to His apostles, did Jesus eat the bread and drink the wine? If yes, does it mean He ate his own body and drink his own blood? Kindly clarify.

I strongly believe he didn't eat, considering what was ahead of him. I supposed he must have been fasting. Secondly, when he had multiplied the loaves and fish, he didn't eat. That very scene, I learn from other catholic apologists, is also a prefigurement of he turning bread into his body for us to feed on. So no, I don't believe he ate. But if anyone else has something I'd like to know.

wow, so basically 70 percent of so called "Catholics" believe the Holy Eucharist (Blessed Sacrament) is just a "symbol", and deny the Real Presence in the Eucharist, deny the reality that Christ is present in Eucharist: -Body -Blood -Soul -Divinity WHO ARE THESE SO CALLED CATHOLICS who deny the real presence of Christ in Eucharist?? And who / where are there pastors, Shepherds, bishops, catechists, DRE, Deacon, consecrated souls, bothers, nuns, sisters, lay leaders in Parish, catechists in the Diocese, etc -- THE FISH ROTS AT THE HEAD. (ALL fathers, natural, spiritual, and ecclesiastical hierarchy - all these men have FAILED to teach the faith and the Truth about Christ , his nature and mission, his passion, suffering, death, resurrection and ascensions - and the need for souls to grow, feed, develop , adore , trust, and give thanks to Christ)

JESUS CRIED ON THE CRUEL CROSS "IT IS FINISHED"..!!! JESUS FINISHED EVERYTHING THE FATHER SEND HIM TO DO AND SAT DOWN AT THE RIGHT OF HIS FATHER'S THRONE. NO MORE SACRIFICES TO BE MADE BY 😢 😪 😢 😪 😢 SINFUL HUMAN HANDS..!! REPENT OF THIS BLASPHEMY AND TURN TO CHRIST FOR FORGIVENESS.

It's a shame that this peculiar doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church is at odds with the bible. If you read the book of Hebrews, you will discover that Christ died ONCE FOR ALL. There are no more sacrifices for sins.
@BirdNerd906
@BirdNerd906 11 месяцев назад
Not at odds at all, if you knew scripture. Catholics aren't "re-sacrificing" him and we certainly don't believe that's what happens at Mass. The Mass is a presentation of that "once and for all" sacrifice, because Jesus' sacrifice and Jesus' love transcends time and space. We aren't sacrificing him again but that sacrifice is instead made present for us to take part in. Hope that helps, doubt it will!

@Zack Depotie It would help much more if you knew your Church's own teachings. Being a former Catholic, I have read the Baltimore Catechism. Most professing Catholics are woefully ignorant of their Church's doctrine. You need to brush up on your's.

@Zack Depotie I appreciate your prayers. I'm ignorant about a great many things, except this subject. Remember what Hahn said; Christ sacrifices his body, blood, soul, and divinity. The Magistrate condemns any Catholic who does not believe in the efficacy of the Holy Eucharist, to forgive sins. Ask your local priest. I lie not.
@speransasperansa5150
@speransasperansa5150 Месяц назад
@@MrChrispy777 As Catholics, we firmly believe in the once-for-all sacrifice of Christ on the cross for the redemption of humanity. This foundational belief aligns with the scriptural truth articulated in passages such as Hebrews 9:28, which states, "so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him." However, the Catholic understanding of the Eucharist does not involve Christ being sacrificed repeatedly. Instead, it involves a profound mystery wherein the sacrifice of Christ on the cross is made present to us sacramentally in the Mass. In the celebration of the Eucharist, the priest, acting in persona Christi (in the person of Christ), re-presents (makes present again) the sacrifice of Christ in an unbloody manner. This re-presentation is not a new sacrifice, nor does it add to the once-for-all sacrifice of Christ. Rather, it allows believers to participate in the saving effects of Christ's sacrifice in a real and tangible way. This understanding finds support in the words of Jesus himself at the Last Supper, where he instituted the Eucharist. In Matthew 26:26-28, we read: "While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, 'Take and eat; this is my body.' Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, 'Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.'" Here, Jesus speaks of the bread and wine as his body and blood, establishing the Eucharist as a memorial of his sacrifice. St. Paul reaffirms this in 1 Corinthians 11:23-26, where he recounts the words of Jesus at the Last Supper and instructs the Corinthians on how to celebrate the Eucharist. Therefore, while Christ's sacrifice on the cross is indeed once-for-all, the Catholic understanding of the Eucharist allows believers to enter into the mystery of that sacrifice and receive its graces anew in each celebration of the Mass.

Sir I heard you on another video asking Mary to pray. Sir Mary can’t hear you she is dead. I have not read anywhere in the Bible where mary was anointed by God to pray for his people. Read and pray over Acts 2:38 that’s God’s one and only plan for man’s salvation. I know you are more intelligent than that to miss Acts 2:38 and Acts chapter 10
@speransasperansa5150
@speransasperansa5150 Месяц назад
In Catholic tradition, asking Mary and the saints to pray for us is based on the understanding of the Communion of Saints, which is the spiritual solidarity between the Church in heaven and the Church on earth. Catholics believe that those who have died in God’s grace are not dead but alive in Christ in heaven, and they can intercede for us before God. This practice does not replace or diminish Christ’s mediating role but is seen as an expression of the familial bond among all believers, living and deceased, in Christ. Regarding Mary, Catholics see her unique role as the Mother of God (Theotokos) and her exemplary faith as reasons to honor her and seek her prayers, just as one might ask a righteous person on earth to pray for them (James 5:16). The Hail Mary, for example, is largely composed of Scriptural greetings to Mary, recognizing her special role in God’s plan of salvation. Acts 2:38 and Acts 10 indeed outline the importance of repentance, baptism in Jesus' name, and the gift of the Holy Spirit for salvation. Catholics fully embrace the necessity of baptism and the work of the Holy Spirit, seeing the Church’s sacraments and prayer practices, including asking the saints for their prayers, as means given by Christ to live out the grace received in baptism and to aid in the mission of salvation and sanctification.
@jesusislord8787
@jesusislord8787 Месяц назад
@@speransasperansa5150 where is that in scripture? You can’t depend on anything concerning salvation but what is written. Acts 2:38 is plainly written. Love you will pray for you
@speransasperansa5150
@speransasperansa5150 Месяц назад
@@jesusislord8787 Thank you for your response. From the Catholic perspective, Revelation portrays scenes of heavenly worship where saints intercede for the faithful (Revelation 5 and 8). In Revelation 5 we read about "the twenty-four elders who fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints." This suggests that the prayers of the saints in heaven are presented before God. Similarly, Revelation 8 describes an angel offering incense with the prayers of the saints on the golden altar before the throne of God. While Acts 2:38 and 10 are foundational to Catholic beliefs, Catholics also embrace a broader understanding of salvation, including the prayers of saints like Mary. Revelation 12 offers a profound image of a woman symbolizing both Mary and the Church. Her childbirth represents the Church's role in bringing believers to God. Additionally, in Genesis 3:15, we see the prophecy of enmity between the woman and her offspring and the serpent, with the promise that her offspring will crush the serpent's head. Catholics interpret this passage as a foreshadowing of Mary's role in the battle against evil and her unique position as the mother of Jesus, who ultimately defeats sin and death. In Catholic tradition, Mary holds a special place as the mother of Jesus, who is the head of the Church. As the woman in Revelation symbolizes both Mary and the Church, Catholics see Mary as intimately connected to the Church's mission of bringing believers to God through her role in bringing forth Jesus, the Savior. This connection underscores Mary's intercessory role and her significance in the ongoing battle against evil alongside Jesus and the Church.

Scott Hahn was definitely a gullible, 26-year-old kid who has missed the truth, but I understand his struggle. He was all over the place trying to find where he would land spiritually back then. I remember the same thing- being on fire for Christ, but not knowing where to land, and ended up in one of those crazy Pentecostal churches that spoke in tongues. God used that time to teach me anyway, but 40 years later I know better than to be attached to a church as the source of my truth, as opposed to the Holy Spirit’s guidance. I want to make something crystal clear. There are a thousand stories, no different than Scott’s, but in reversal, where the Catholic members (PhD’s) realized they were trapped by this cultic church (Catholicism) and got out, and found the truth. In fairness, Protestants have converted to Catholicism as well (but not near as many). Scott is just one person, who has fallen victim to the false theology of an institution that Jesus Christ never meant to happen. Make no mistake, Scott is just a small grain of sand on a beach of thousands of scholars and theologians that have dived into the truth and realized that Catholicism, although at the beginning was going ok, went horribly wrong. I am one of just many that have done the research. Very, very few Catholics have. My research shows that Catholicism was fine until about 300 AD, when the original definition of church (ecclesia) which was a gathering of Believers around a single event in history (The Resurrection and Crucifixion), and around a single person (Jesus Christ), and what He was trying to accomplish in reconciling the world back to God- suddenly turned into something really bad- A group of people moving into an "organization" a " building", a" hierarchy", where whoever controlled the building controlled the people and whoever controlled the people controlled the scripture, and whoever controlled the scripture controlled the interpretation, to the point where attenders were not allowed, under any circumstance to even have a copy of scripture until Tindell had it translated into English, well into the 1500's. I wish Catholics would pause a moment and realize this powerful truth: The Catholic church would not allow a copy of scripture into the hands of their attenders. In fact, in the year of 1229, The Bible was forbidden to laymen and placed on the index of Forbidden Books by the Council of Valencia. Scott Hahn forgot to do the research on the corruption of the Catholic Church before he dived in. How did he miss it? The evidence is there for anyone to check out. How could Scott research the legitimacy of the church without seeing the corruption of all the popes? Is Scott going to take interpretations from early Catholic popes and cardinals as the “true” Gospel too? If so, is he going to also take those interpretations from the (mostly) bad ones? Not being critical, but factual…Do we take, what will become someone’s theological viewpoints for the rest of their life, from the ones that bought the papacy with money, or do we take it from the ones that killed other cardinals to obtain the position, or do we take them from the ones that sold indulgences to steal money from the gullible and weak minded, or do we take it from the ones that had hundreds burned at the stake because they expressed different spiritual perspectives, or do we take it from the ones that had sex with children and animals (and who committed sodomy), or do we take it from the ones who had wives and multiple mistresses and violated the insane celibacy dogma? Scott decided to. Seriously, help me think this out. Hypothetically, if Ted Bundy, John Gacy and Bernie Madoff were the early perpetrators of Catholicism, would Scott still hold to his same beliefs? If so, at what point does his theology lose its credibility? Because something is old, does that make it right and accurate? Especially in a fallen world? If so, can those conclusions be made about prostitution (it’s ok, because it’s been around before Christ)? Certainly, that doesn’t make sense. Did Scott not check out the corruption of the priesthood before entering in? Fast forward to modern day, and you have a gigantic scandal, the likes America has never seen, with the 1700 priest arrested for molesting kids, child pornography. 1700!!!!! Plus, 5200 clergy on the radar for the same thing. Because of pride, the RCC just can’t admit they got it wrong. They can’t admit that these priests should have been married with kids so they can even relate to the modern family sitting on their pews. As a result, these priests are broken, lost, empty individuals with out-of-control hormones, which leads them to molest children!!! It’s absolutely, insane. And the RCC will not budge on admitting they’re wrong- all while 80% of every catholic think that priest should be married. It’s a disaster! What does Scott do? Simply sweeps the embarrassing stuff up under the rug, and disguises it with Catholic dogma, and justifications that intelligent people just shake their head when hearing him studder. Lot of history to research (before and after that), but the Catholic Church was massively corrupt from 300 AD. Many Protestant churches as well, since their conception after the Reformation. All because of getting away from the basics of Christianity, where Jesus went around revealing who He was, with a simple request, follow me, and go around the world and spread this good news that “I'm bringing to everyone willing to believe”: And here is His message: God set out on a mission to reconcile the world back to Himself, not counting men’s sins against them, by dying on a Cross (providing that one-time Forgiveness), and rising again to restore life back to us, since we had spiritually died after sin entered the world. Yes, the mission was that simple!! Did God complicate this simple mission by complicated doctrine, a fatiguing list of things to do to be accepted and saved, or introducing Mary, popes, priests, penance, purgatory, infant Baptism, sacraments, confession and much more into the equation from a government and religious institution/conglomerate/cultic type group to control the masses? Absolutely not. Instead, here is God’s one requirement: Faith and Trust and Belief in what Jesus did at the Cross. Not intellectual belief, but a genuine, from the heart- surrender to God, allowing Him to be in charge of your life from this moment on. That’s it!!! Not Catholicism, but Christ!!! Don’t miss the story and original intent. Look at just a small sample of proof about how simple the Gospel really is (not complicated by Catholic fluff): “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith- and this not from your selves, it is the gift of God, not by works” Epesians2: 8 “Know that a man is not justified ( made right in God’s eyes) by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ, So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified. Galatians 6:16 “These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that you may know that you have eternal life”. 1John 5:13 “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son that whosoever shall believe in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. John 3:16-17 “But as many as has received Him, to them he gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe on His name”. 1 John 1:12 “That if you confess with your mouth,’ Jesus is Lord’, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are made right in God’s eyes, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved”. Romans 10:9 “For, everyone who calls on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved”. Romans 10:13 “Whoever believes in God’s son has eternal life, but whoever rejects His son will not see life”. John 3:36 “All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name” Acts 10:43 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession-to the praise of his glory”. Ephesians1: 7-14 “Christ is the end of the Law so that there may be righteousness (holiness) for everyone who believes” Romans 10: 4 “But now a righteousness from God, apart from the law, has been made known, to which the law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness (holiness) from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe”. Romans 3:21-22 Scott Hahn failed to research the corruption of the Catholic Church before he dived in. Big mistake. Not being critical, but listening to this message by Scott reminded me of listening to an old Amway salesman, or multi- marketing pitch from the 1980's that anyone of age now is simple disgusted by. Sorry Scott, you meant well, but you got it wrong. The Catholic church (not Catholic people) is corrupt to the very core.

@@ChrisEAdlay Wouldn't even know where to begin. Pew research has over 35 million individuals have gone from Catholicism to something else. Many PhD's. The overwhelming argument would actually be more defined as the hundreds and hundreds of PHD's who are Protestant that did extensive theological studies and realized the falsehood of the Catholic Church. Of course, as expected (no offense) but you, like many, do not even want to go down the road of corruption and made up theology, as you fully avoided 99.9% of my post. The corruption is extensive and deep. It's embarrassing enough where most Catholics do not even comment, because they cannot reconcile what happened. The corrupt popes, who were supposed to be these "succession of papacy" (one of the biggest deception in Catholic history), and the insane celibacy requirement of priests, who have virtually destroyed the lives of thousands, and the list goes on. Bottom line: Today's Catholic Church is not the original Catholic Church started by Christ and the early Apostles. All that changed after 300 AD or so. Church history is hard to get around. Most Catholics have either not checked it out, or have fallen for the lies and false explanations of Catholic leadership.

The Mass is disgusting. The Torah and the New Testament both attest to the necessity and requirement of blood to cover sins. A sacrifice is not a real sacrifice without blood. Blood is incredibly vital. Sacrifices cannot be unbloody. That’s why the cross is so awesome. ONE time sacrifice for eternity. Hebrews 9:11-18 But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things having come, He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made by hands, that is, not of this creation; [12] and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all time, having obtained eternal redemption. [13] For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled, sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh, [14] how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? [15] For this reason He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that, since a death has taken place for the redemption of the violations that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. [16] For where there is a covenant, there must of necessity be the death of the one who made it. [17] For a covenant is valid only when people are dead, for it is never in force while the one who made it lives. [18] Therefore even the first covenant was not inaugurated without BLOOD. Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are cleansed with blood, according to the Law, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. Hebrews 9:25 nor was it that He would offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the Holy Place year by year with blood that is not his own. Hebrews 9:26 Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now once at the consummation of the ages He has been revealed to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. he cannot sacrifice himself or be sacrificed again. The single cross sacrifice event takes care of everything. However he will appear a second time without blood and not for the forgiveness of sins. Hebrews 9:28 so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him. The Mass is a crippling damning event that does not offer forgiveness of sins. If you need a ritual to be forgiven of sin you've missed the point completely. The only way to truly fulfill a Mass accurately is to sacrifice and KILL someone or something to attain that type of LIMITED forgiveness. The mass ignores Christ's ONE TIME sacrifice on the cross and its meaning.

@@nathanoppy the Eucharist is commonly misunderstood as one and the same with the Lord's supper. It is not the same. The eucharist was formally defined and created in 1215 during the 4rth Lateran council. The Eucharist is found NO WHERE in scripture. Only the "Lords Supper" is found. Both in the Gospels AND the letters. Its constructs are NOTHING like you see in the Catholic church today nor does scripture teach it as a salvific standard.
