Yes. A different game back then. You have to work for it. I should catch up with the owner there. The father (driving the Euclid) and 2 sons run most of the earthmoving equipment at the show. They have more than a few items. So i might be able to lend a hand
@@hurricanedaniel I was referring to your video. The 6-71 has a great sound. The 6V53 (as used in the M113A1 and various other vehicles) sounds all right BUT the 6-71 and the 8V-71 that was used in the Bedford KM (and some Mount Cook Denning buses) make much better noises.
@@michaelguerin56 yes. There is something about the 71 series and there sound. I cant wait to get my 4-71 running in the old Allis Chalmers HD10. It has no muffler ether. Should make some noise haha
I think alot of old iron could still put in a solud days work. Im not sure we could say the same thing as more modern items once there get some age to them. They just dont make them like they used to
