Как раз собираюсь их приобрести. В Видео рассказал абсолютно ВСЁ, что меня интересовало и описал все проблемы, которые у меня с моим DDrum hrome. Спасибо за подобные обзоры.
Lol, started with double bass a few months ago and this was super hard for me to play with a double pedal. And Eugene is just playing it with one foot😂
Another great video Eugene!! I’m using the SB1 triggers from trick on two kick drums... black widow pedals. They work great. I’ve got the footblasters on order and I’m sure I’m gonna love them two. Keep rockin!!
I am not a drummer but drummer i work with has been using axis ekits for 10+ years. Ive played and recorded with him for 20 years. They still work great. We used 2 single pedal and 2 kick drum format for years. Recently we bought the axis drive shaft to convert his 2 pedals into a double pedal so we could use one kick drum when we track to make like a bit easier in the studio. The axis ekit trigger do have limitation when using on a double pedal is what we sound out. The added bracket on the axis double doesnt allow the drummer to position the footboard as far angled back as he likes. The ekit hammer on the main pedal will hit against the bracket on the rebound. This it starts to move it out of place. Received the footblaster triggers today. It should allow the drummer to position the footboard at the angle he likes. My question to anyone using these is... Why does it seem like most of the videos i see people are not using the trigger positioned the same way under booth footboards? Seems like for a right handed drummer most people use the trigger under left side of the pedal for the left single or slave pedal. Then it seems the right pedal the use trigger under the right side of the footboard. Im sure its gonna be easy to dial in. Just wasnt sure if there is any reason for this. There is barely any info from footblaster on this.
What trigger input and type setting do you use in TM-2? Head & Rim or the Pad option? Should I just go with RT-30K in the module, or is there a better option for these?
Any luck in searching? it works well with the kd7 setting (all the way left) but I still end up missing a note or two that I know isn't my fault. Plus my threshold and retrigger cancel is pretty low
Eugene, how your bass drum sound like that.can you give me a tips to get a bass drum sound like that and also is that footblaster connect with roland spd and also how much is the price of that axis double pedal 🤔
Are they noisy when your floorboard hits the sensor? I've had to re-grease my bass pedal because there was a tiny squeak at some points and it was driving me insane. :) Thanks for a great video!!
there is a small metallic click when the footboard touches the trigger, yes. But since I play mostly on an acoustic kit, I don't hear it at all. I don't think it would cause too many problems even with the mics. If it clicks when you hit the bass drum, it should be loud enough to cover the click noise. Hopefully.
you are always welcome. Maybe (just a maybe) if there will be further collaboration between Footblaster and the artist they will come up with a solution like a rubber surface or something softer that can take more "hits", lasts longer and also doesn't make that clicky noise. Let's hope for the best.
Hey Eugene! I picked some of Blasters up for a set of Longboard A's and i was wondering why you have the triggers set up in what looks like the reverse orientation based on what the Manufacturer suggests for setting them up? Also, is there any way to get around the metallic clicking noise from the metal on metal contact from the trigger to the footboard? Thanks
How is the footblaster after few years in terms of durability? I can't find any solid info about that. Do you have backups in place? How often it breaks?
lol, you can actually see the tip of my toe in the upper right corner of that "feet cam". I was just resting it on the leg of the drum throne so that you can get more visibility of my right foot.
I have these and OnTriggers. I prefer OT over the FB because of their lower price, higher build quality, better customer service and shorter shipping times. I encourage everyone to check them out too if they haven't already!
So I have a Strike Pro Se and i am considering these triggers. How is the single kick input split to both triggers? Is it as simple as a TRS splitter? Thank you!
Wait so resting the left foot is less likely to misfire during skank beats? I play those beats a lot so i was wondering if i rest my foot down if itll misfire
Honest drumer about trigers ever.dalí moustachlity!aproved!you're still here stranger?what are youu selling??what are you buying? ;D r.e.4..aproved again
Does anyone know if you hook these up to your pedal if you can use these triggered pedals on different bass drums or do need them to be set up specifically for different bass drums?
I found that I have to adjust them slightly upwards from time to time because I lose sensitivity of the kick sound or they don't fire at all. Maybe the footboard strokes tend to bend them back down slowly. Just a minor issue. PS I use Trick BigFoot
hey dude! Thank you for what a great review! I'm curious about setting of DTX 502. I'm going to use DTX 502. So it would be really helpful if you could reply me! Thank you bro!
Why did you set your retrigcancel at 9? Maybe it's different on the tm2 but I usually see most people setting it as low as possible, because that's the time in between strokes and you want it as responsive as possible.
hey there bro!! i just got my FOOTBLASTERS today (2/7) and i installed them on my Axis AL2 right away! i have an Alesis D4 module (an older model than the DM5) and the triggers work great!! but what i realized is that i gotta work on my module settings because it double-triggers on slow tempos. So, the triggers will work great with your DM5 but be careful and take some time experimenting with the settings! cheers from Greece!
hey bro! yes they do work fine on doubles! i got the FOOTBLASTERS today (2/7) and i'm a heel toe player, and when i played earlier in the morning to check them out, the doubles were sounding awesome! cheers from Greece!
Я приобрёл сразу три триггера. Один подвязал к левому яйцу, другой - к правому. Ну а третий подвязал прямиком к залупе, и пошёл в таком виде по улице, при это ревя во всю глотку бельфегоровскую Bondage Goat Zombie.
