Hi guys, I’m back with tie-dye rainbow donuts! Those rainbow donuts look awesome, yet they are light because they are not fried, they are baked! I really like the subtle colors on donuts; it’s more appetizing. Use the food colors moderately for delicate rainbows hues as seen in the video. For nice thick coating, dip the doughnuts in the glaze twice. Happy cooking!
♥ How to Make Rainbow Donuts
7 donuts (It depends on the size of donut molds.)
Ingredients
1 1/4 cups cake flour (160g)
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/3 cup granulated sugar (70g)
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter, melted (30g)
1/3 cup milk (80ml)
1/3 cup plain yogurt (80ml)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
For glaze:
1 cup (125g) confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons milk
Food colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple)
Additional milk to adjust thickness

박력분 160g
베이킹 파우더 3g
설탕 70g
넛메그 파우더 2.5ml
소금 1g
녹인버터 30g
우유 80ml
요거트 80ml
바닐라 5ml
달걀 1개
글레이즈:
슈거파우더 125g
우유 30ml
무지개 식용색소
농도는 추가적으로 우유를 넣어 조절하세요.

The donut recipe is delicous. I used my favourite brand of coarse sea salt and it went well with the nutmeg. *Absolute bliss*

You could always get donuts from the store and try it. Or you could bake muffins and dip it the same way!

You can get canned texas biscuit dough, cut holes in the middle, and deep fry them ^^

Just cut out some parchment paper into squares big enough for one donut and pipe a circle onto the parchment paper and deep fry them :)

Instead of making the doughnuts, do you think using already made Krispy Kreme doughnuts would work? Would the icing still stick to their already glazed doughnut?

Thea Taylor cutting a hole in the center of canned biscuits (like pilsbury) and frying them works well. :) A soda cap is the right size to do it, if you don't have a small circle cutter.
