euorack case - DIY, portable, runs on batteries, and it's water proof? 

Thought I'd document the making of my portable case to show how you can save $300 AU odd.
Living down-under we tend to get the short end of the stick when comes to any musical instrument by the time import costs and tax are added.
ps. I'll not be throwing this in the water any time soon, but I'm not stressed if I'm out and about when the heavens open up.
