Faye Framed Laurie for Mouse's Murder & Said allowed that she was a drug dealer while the conversation in Fez's house was being recorded by Faye's BF. Laurie was probably the next stop after Fez. She's going to Prison. Rue is lucky af.
Even if Jules was the only underage person he slept with, its still considered a crime to illegally film someone during sex if they didnt consent in some places I think. Plus you should be checking the age of people you sleep with, especially if you meet them at a place or online where teens can access. Due diligence and all that.
This finale is only made worse now that Angus (Fez) is gone. And the way he went is honestly just so angering considering he struggled with the same exact things that are struggled with in the show, and it sounds like he got very little help from those who were part of the creation of this show. It’s all so depressing. I couldn’t see how a season three would work very well with how beloved Angus and Fez were by fans, he WAS the show sometimes. Goes to show how harmful exploitation can be. He will be very missed. ❤
@@ashleyocean9099 I don’t believe so, tho I only watched their reaction, not the post discussion. This also could’ve been filmed way earlier in advance 🤷♀️
I'm not sure exactly how much support Angus was given but there was an article that said the showrunners gave Angus an intervention and that Sam Levinson and his pregnant wife drove Angus to Rehab again after filming episode 5. Apparently, Angus joked about how he felt just like Rue which is heartbreaking.
Maddy and Sydney find on the stage and Maddy sequentially slamming Sydney’s head against the wall, was one of the most unintentional, funny scenes I’m ever seen
That audience member asking about Cassie sleeping with Jake was the funniest thing when I first watched it. Also, I didn't expect to enjoy Euphoria as much as I did but the final 4 episodes of season 2 were all top tier. It was great rewatching it with you guys.
Ash was extremely intelligent and perceptive. He knew it was no way out and the only person he loved was fez. He was not gonna allow fez to go down for murders he committed. He was too loyal for that. He was like.. they gon see that im the murderer and your not. Id never let you take the fall for me bro.... he said all that in his stubborn calculated silence.😢😢 he sacrificed himself for what he understood was his own actions.
As we saw in the opening flashback of the season, Ash was raised at such a young age to believe that everything must be solved through violence first. He was doomed the second he killed Mouse
Rue, Lexi (and Jules?) will be seniors next season, assuming no time jumps. Beginning of season 1 Rue says she spent most of summer before Jr yr in rehab. Season 2 starts right after new yr which would be start of second semester generally.
yeah and Kat is a senior even tho Barbie won't be in season 3 :/ and zendaya mentioned she would like for there to be a timejump... who knows where the show will go from here, season 2 was really wild
It's going to be very sad to see how they end Fez's storyline 😞 now that Angus is gone. Loved him in the show. Rest in Peace 🕊 I feel like Lexi will be heartbroken 💔
I think Custer?? had to choose between giving up Ash and Fez for murder or having Laurie and her loyal followers as an enemy. Fez and Ash seem like the easier choice
I’m assuming they are going to say that Fez died in season three due to the untimely death of Angus Cloud. He is one actor I’m really sad he died, because I know we would have seen a lot of good things from him. Additionally, I don’t think Jules was the only minor Cal was with. One of the first videos Nate watched looked like an underage boy.
The ONE time there was a counselor or principal involved in this show (if I remember correctly) was the first episode when Kat’s sextape was going around the school and Kat was in the office talking to them.
I’ve noticed for this episode reactors tend to immediately think pedophilia as the reason to convict Cal but it’s more likely the lack of consent in recording dozens (hundreds?) of encounters. That said, he clearly didn’t care too much about checking to see for sure if the very young looking person(s) is the age they say they are.
I 100% agree they did it this way to show that when violence is the tool death is the result, for both cops and criminals. I know it sounds redundant but it's was chris talks about, when cops enter these situations they always bring "that" energy, the "SWAT squad, we gona demolish shoot and gas anything in our way" energy, which is probably the number one issue with policing, which the more common it is the more people expect that said energy and respond in kind with the "if im dead either way i'm burning everything down" energy specially in the minds of kids who do these mistakes and end up living a life where violence is the only language they know, its a disturbing upsetting moment to depict the violence of those situation but hopefully it helps people realize why the tools need to change for this whole "energy" problem to start being solved and healed for for there to eventually be more positive results
8:46 - 8:59 Cassie's reaction to the carousel scene in the play 🤣💀 Sydney Sweeney was phenomenal 18:25 RIP Angus Cloud 🕊🕊🕊 The scene gave me chills. Especially Fez screaming
did i miss it or did they not talk about nate getting his dad arrested? also i feel like in season 3 they are gonna try to redeem nate and continue his thing with jules, and marketa will not be happy
@anastasiiaiurkova8897 first off, those were all rumors, and they follow and talk to each other again now, and second it doesn't matter what the actors relationship is, it matters what the writer writes, they are professional actors, they will do what the script says even if they did dislike each other
I know your comment was old but yes, season 3 will be redeeming Nate. Jacob confirmed it on an interview. Besides the gun scene with Maddy, Nate was much more tolerable this season.
@@Fatalbeast22 true but it doesn't make sense considering what happened in season 1. we got 1 scene of nate and jules? even though their plot line was one of the main ones in the 1 season? i doubt writers would simply not develop it, it is my opinion and i believe smth certainly happened between the actors.
Ash is cool and has had some funny/bad ass scenes. But don’t forget guys that’s he’s a baby who was raised around constant violence, drugs, gangs and pure survival. He’s not in school, he doesn’t have normal relationships, he hasn’t had a childhood. You can’t really expect him to suddenly process a situation in a normal way at this point.
I simply don’t think it’s anywhere near that. Sam Levinson has even admitted he’s not a good storyteller and just writes everything as he goes along and just shoots scenes that look cool.
Till this day I don't get why people sided with Lexy, if I was Cassie (and even if she did not "steal" Maddi'es boyfriend) would react the same way lmao Lexi exposed all of her sister's issues in a play about her " supposed life". I really wanted Cassie to beat her up and then Maddie to punch her lol. Also lexi is a introverted under age girl and yall are shipping her with a 25+ year old drug dealer that was the one who supplied Rue's drugs since she was like 14/15 yo lol
i just really dont like how they dealt with certain characters and how some people just disappeared in show. hopefully all the unsolved plot lines get completed next season. whenever that happens
I don't think Season 3's gonna happen. I can't imagine too many people would want to see Fez played by a different actor, and I can't see them writing Fez out of the show either. His character's just too popular, it wouldn't be the same. Plus, as we saw by The Idol, Sam Levinson either cannot write a show for shit anymore, or he just doesn't care, since HBO's gonna give him full creative control anyway. If Season 3 happens, I can almost guarantee it'll be a subpar affair full of dangling plot threads.
@@VIMaggotVIBrainzVIIt’s pretty easy to write Fez out tbh. They can just say he didn’t survive his gunshot wound. It’s super unfortunate but the story actually lines up.
Best episode of the show the play was amazing but if my sibling did what lexi did I would go a very long time without speaking to them you don't forcefully put someone's trauma out to the whole school
I can't help but feel like that take is very one sided. I've been watching a show where we uncover internal logic and people who cover up abuse, cheat and manipulate across both seasons. Like no one is really a good person in this show, they just finally crossed boundaries that the audience cares about which is really realistic. Like all due respect, I totally see your persepctive but I just always think "y'all got all the way through Euphoria and THIS is the straw that breaks the camels back?"
@@kevinmay9151 yeah Lexi is far tamer than the other characters. She’s just the unseen artist who wants to finally have a voice, whereas all the other characters are ticking time bombs who start bad shit literally all the time lol
@@kevinmay9151Respectfully, I feel like this was a long explanation with no real answer. It’s never okay to unpack peoples trauma. I’m sure any therapist would tell you that. Imo people are justifying it because it’s Nate and Cassie who suffered the most but if Lexie talked about Kats weight and sex work or Rues addiction in a joking manner, nobody would be on her side.
So the actor that plays wanted to stop acting for a while to go back to boxing that why he died and fez wasn't suppose to die but the actor sadly died July 31.
Sleeping with a person you thought was of age is definitely not pedaphilia. The only thing Cal really did wrong (outside of his family) was recording people without their consent .
@@samuelclayhills3298 not saying he won't get in trouble in California, was just saying it's definitely not pedaphilia. Pedophilia is being attracted or having sexual relations with a prepubescent child. Jules definitely isn't that.
Y'all got to be really naive to think Cal hasn't slept with underaged people for the last 10 years he's been meeting hookers in hotels. He doesn't even look at their I.D. Plus the law doesn't care if the victim lies about their age. It's the adult's responsibility to find out how old their sexual partner is so yes ya boy is going to Jail. Recording people without their consent is a crime in itself but making child pornography is crazy. He didn't even try to destroy the recording even after he found out Jules real age so that should tell you something. That man is a sex offender.
