Glad to see these videos. I’ve never been one to do deep dungeon but I enjoyed Eureka Orthos so much I finally got a group to do a full run and went back and did the others too; even did them solo!

I wasn't around when coils was a thing. I only knew twintania by unsyncing it. BUT i have been aquainted with twister now. With several deaths to proof that i do not like that move at all

You can avoid landmines by walking on the correct routes through rooms IIRC. Also useful (if you know where they are) to damage groups of enemies sometimes.

Do you have the "enemies aggro'd" list enabled? pretty sure that's the only way to see what Twintania casts when she was untargetable (the name was "twisting" something so it's a bit of a giveaway)

When it came to dark souls the first time I played the game I was so lost, as in .lost at the firelink shrine 🤣🤣 I couldn't figure out where to go, I went to new Londo ruins or the catacombs and got thoroughly slapped. I could never find the stairs going to the Burg 🤣🤣 within two weeks I gave up and gave it to a friend who's played it and showed me where I go and I felt so dumb 🤣🤣

Basically, if you don't move when the dragon cast twisters, you will die.

@@sapphire356 And what makes this more notable than the others? Aren't there other mechanics that insta wipe if failed? Like Alexander 4's Nisi?

@@dracoastra3039 it was basically the very first terrifying mechanic (T5), and whilst a Nisi collision killed those colliding, a twister going off could kill multiple per due to its rather generous radius, and the fact it was basically a mine placed under every player that armed instantly, so anyone that wasn't already moving would explode and take anyone nearby with them. Whilst technically you only needed to be moving when/just before the cast resolved, even slight ping would cause you to to trigger the twister, and they lingered a decent amount of time so you would have to remember where they were being placed to not dodge into one. Generally unused, as ping dependant mechanics aren't very popular

Yay, a new part! ♡ Haha yeah I honestly think this one kinda sucks for soloing. Even at 99/99, enemy dmg and health pools are just a bit...too much even for lower floor trash mobs to be anything but annoying and tedious. But that's part of what makes progressing through it as a group all the more fun, because you aren't just bored for 80 floors until the final few give you a challenge, like in PotD and HoH 😁

I've run in to the instance swap issue as well, and I'm not sure why they didn't fix it. They could let you queue, but for some reason, you have to be in the same instance and same zone. Regardless, still a fun video. Eureka Orthos is pretty funny.
