Like most of he rides at Europa Park this was built by Mack Rides and is one of the strangest spinning coasters you ever find. It even has a nice drop!
Europa Park is located south of Strasbourg in Rust, Germany.

I loved this park! I went the day after christmas. It was a blast and this coaster was amazing! I wish I could go back. I may when im in paris for school for two weeks!

@masterderivation Its called "Lift Off". youll find it by searching after the keywords "europapark" and "lift off" and "euro mir". Pay attention, the first one you'll find would probably be from some eurpapark album, but it's only a not so good remake. think it's even free to download somewhere (am not sure), try google.

Pahaha nächste Woche ists soweit! Die Euro Mir kenn ich schon und freu mich drauf aber am meisten freu ich mich auf die Bahnen die ich noch nicht kenne: Silverstar, Blue Fire und Poseidon. War schon 15 Jahre nicht mehr da es wird Zeit :D

When I rode this I thought it would be lame as the lift run takes so long and it only has some turns around buildings and a few small drops. But I was highly surprised by the amount of awesome in this. It's a shame they didn't pull more twisting tricks in the long fast section of the track.

I don't quite understand the theming of this ride, nor the fact that the first part indoors is in almost total darkness. What's the point of that?

Detroit Diezel The theme is around a russian space station called Mir. So the intention to this coaster is that you go to space in this lift (The music is called liftoff). And you are floating in space for a while. After that a ride back to earth (I think). The real mir-station is the indirect predecessor of the iss and dosen‘t exist anymore. With this backstory and the house music the coaster really is unique. But also a bit weird.

...i rode this and here are 2 h=things i dont like about it... 1: it goes WAY to close to the walls that someone hurt themselves while we were waiting (so the line had to be stopped for 30 mins)... and 2: this ride is rough...like Wooden coaster rough it hurt my neck
