Hey, I have a question here about the intake. You should replace the air filter around 15 000 miles. So how do you open the compartment where the air filter is stored on this intake. Is it standard, you can replace it with any after market?! Thanks!
Cloudbg it is a reusable air filter. There are two Phillips screws on the canister. Once you remove them, the canister separates with the filter inside. You simply hose it out, let it dry and then reinstall.
Increase airflow to the turbo. The factory intake system (like any system) will have restrictions. This helps to eliminate those restrictions. Most see a 5-7hp increase.
On minute 1:49.. he removes a green clip. Unfortunately i just lost this today while trying to install the intake.. what can i do ? Is there a way to order it ? Can i fix it somehow ? Is it important for it to be on the car ? Please anyone help! Thanks
NGEN Customs and Performance thanks for the reply.... weird follow up question but, i noticed the car made a “meaner” noise when the tube wasn’t connected for some reason, it sounded better. If i don’t connect it back, what could happen to my car ?
@@NGENCustomsandPerformance I guess he is asking...is it easily removable, because it has to be changed evry 15 000 miles I guess? Is it standart air filter, you changed and than put back into the canister and istall it again on the intake?
Not much of a difference with sound so didn’t feel it was necessary. The purpose of the video is to show you how to install it, not so much how it sounds. Of course if it was an exhaust install, that’s definitely different. Thanks for watching!
