I recently finished this kit and it needs quite some patience and extra work. Many fitting issues but that's no surprise with a Revell kit. The biggest disappointment for me was that the decals on the underside of the wings have the wrong dimensions. I got a build review video of my Black Jack in case someone's interested :)

I built this kit in the 'Baron Spirit' version. Was a bit of a pain to build, but it came off really nicely in the end! It takes a lot of patience, because atleast in my kit a lot of corrections had to be made to get a really good finish. I found out that a fiber glass pen works well to remove the ejector pinmarks in tight areas. Apart from that, a lot of flash removal, putty and sanding.

I am just completing this kit and it's been a struggle! Worst parts by far are the decals which just don't fit and even the extradecal kits don't fit either especially on the forward canards. The canopy is extra thin with a massive seam which is almost impossible to remove. I split mine, bought a replacement which cracked, eventually got a replacement from Revell and have to live with the seam, despite polishing v carefully. Good luck if you build this!

There just aren't many choices in the market when it comes to Eurofighter as well as other delta-wing aircrafts in 1/48th scale.

I know that feel Bobby... This is the best we've got and I ask myself... HOW? :D This is a widely known popular aircraft and with the quality GWH and others put out is just on another level than this. Don't get me wrong, I've build the twin-seater 48th scale one and I enjoyed it very much, but still... I'm on the same page with the JAS-39C Gripen... I mean, it's very popular too and the best one was the Kitty Hawk one... Again... How? :D And now even that is gone and all that remains is the crude Italeri one... That's a hole in the market for me :D
