15:15 remove it either after your windshield sat in the sun for an hour or heating it up another way (from the in- AND outside for best results). Should come off pretty easily, don't try to scratch but remove leftover glue with the sticky stuff still on the Vignette.
We traveled that road 4 weeks ago (from Scotland). If you are ever in the area again, the road up to Lenzerheide (up the hill from Chur) is a lot of fun and we always stop at Bregenz to chill and sit by the Bodensee.
Please make a travel video throughout Italy. I know it's quite far from Norway, but that's kind of the point, right? Be interesting to see how the charging infrastructure is in Italy.
@@stuka78 I suspected as such :). But don't underestimate the influence of people like Bjorn and the community that follow him. That's why it would be great if he would do it anyway.
I am a Tesla owner in Italy and I do not think it is "terrible". Yes, in some areas we need improvements (in the islands, for example), but in other areas we are quite well equipped (for example in Northern Italy). And if you have a Tesla, you can go around Italy using supercharger, as the Italian youtuber Andrea Baccega showed here: ru-vid.com/group/PLDS8ZNOOuupwzZ9YEnCS7O7ZvzvEaF5I3 If you need, the Tesla Club Italy has a Telegram group ("Tesla Club Italy helps tourist owners"), where you can join in and ask for help when travelling Italy.
Hi Bjørn. Nice and interesting trip. You Could try an interesting supercharger in Dietikon near Zurich. PLS Next time if you are already in Switzerland I highly recommend visiting St. Moritz. It is also a leap to the Italy with a wonderful pass where u and Mc.Hammer can definitely enjoy the ride. Just let me know and I'll take care of everything like your patreon. I looking forward to see u here next summer or winter. Best regards ..
Very relaxing video, congrats! Here's a trick for easy vignette removal - before sticking it to the windshield, stick it to a textile, like a t-shirt. It will come off very easy!
It‘s Great to see how you appreciate color and waterquality of our lakes in Switzerland. Next time try to visit Lake Cauma in Flims. Not far away from Walensee but much more colorful and much more peaceful. Thanks for visiting Switzerland and reporting so nice.
I found that nice view point on google maps. Kerenzerbergstrasse 40, 8758 Obstalden, Switzerland. I will try to get there with my Model3 next summer and take a selfie for you, Bjørn. :P
I follow a Polish guy who lives in Switzerland and in his free time rides on a road bike. Switzerland looks beautiful even from the motorway but you can't really appreciate it 100% unless you try those tiny country roads (btw. biking infrastructure and culture is great there). Lastly he went to the French speaking part of Switzerland, it's quite different from the German speaking part but also really beautiful.
Five years have not been kind to you Bjorn! You should come and visit Scotland before its too late! North Coast 500 should be a bucket list item for any driving enthusiast.
@Bjørn Nyland You can pay the Austrian toll vignette online. Then you don't need that sticker on your car, because the system reads your plate and knows you paid the toll. A vignette for two month or a year is a waste of money if you don't use Austrian roads frequently. You get more than 10 vignettes for 10 days for the price of a one year vignette in Austria.
Ah Bodensee. been there several times. love it there. Nice to see Mrs Nyland smile.he he does she ever talk though ? would be good to see what she thinks of the Tesla
Austria also have digital Vignette you can buy online. Then you just need the Licence plate number. But you have to buy two weeks before first use - because of EU laws..
Olivier Sourie Than you have the law of withdrawal within the two weeks. Also the reason why you have to wait two weeks. It more practical for me - if i sell my Car will take the plate with me.
Hello Bjorn. Let me tell you a cool trick for easy vignettes removal. Before you stick them on the windshild, try and stick them 2-3 times on your jeans. You'll see how easy it is to remove them after that. It works every time.
To be able to peel off the vignette I always place it first gently on my jeans just to pick up some small lints and then on the windshield. PS: I guess you should've place it in the top left area
One big difference between Norway and Switzerland is the frequency of the public transport services. Much better in Switzerland. Muhlehorn (where you had lunch) has an hourly stopping train service which runs seven-days-a-week. On a related point, while driving along you should not be watching the (fantastic) scenery!
What a beautyful Hotel in Kempten/Germany. Like the hotel next to Bergenhus Festning in Bergen it is ugly from the outside but absolutely pretty inside. Do they even have a fishtank in the basement? Maybe I will go there next year. Kempten is quite nice but I just remember the town because of some outlet shops where you can buy sport equipment, clothes and shoes from high price brands for very small money. Have a nice trip back to N.
Just came back from my road trip from Sweden to Austria in my Kona EV. The charging infrastructure needs to be improved but it worked out pretty good anyway. :)
Fit the vignet properly, they can give you fine if you didnt stick it well. If you remove it it will brake the vignet so you cant give it to someone else. Greedy shit especially when you only passing the country. For example on your way to italy.
Love the Walensee too. Always drive trough when we go to the mountains for Camping. Here a recording from our last ride… (not yet in the Model 3) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-reTFT0gnIGo.html
