Have a great trip. I know exactly where you stopped over, simply because it's a 5 - 10 minute drive to the campsite I use a lot, and where I store my caravan.
The holiday smiles are infectious. Can't wait for our van to roll out of the vanology conversion workshop. Arriving in the UK in May next year just seems to long to wait. Will have to live through others travel in the meantime
Hi guy's sounds like you are heading on a good adventure. We are just back from Belgium.we got stopped at Dover and a full van search and weight check lucky I was empty of water as we was just on the limit. . Hi it was 3am and the only one passing and got pulled in lucky that Jane was frightened to take food in the fridge we only had milk and they confiscated it and we had to fill in a form. The guy was in every cupboard and asked lots of things then onto the weight pads 65kgs to spare and 40mins later. Hope you enjoy your time away from the workshop. Rob and Jane. R& J
Great workshop. Where is it you stay for the night in Folkestone? We have a tunnel crossing at 0650 sfter Christmas and will be travelling from Plymouth after work. Sounds like the perfect place to get our heads down for a few hours. Well deserved break for you all.

Can I ask you why the ferry when you could potentially have a rough crossing? Was it significantly cheaper than the tunnel? Hope you had a great time in Amsterdam!

Hi Gary, we have it connected to a 12v leisure battery which in turn is connected to a battery charger via 230v 👍🏻 you can also get a 230 to 12v transformer
