It’s odd that you brought up the Hellenes/Greeks who founded/birthed western civilization, as this video only focuses on the Anglo-Germanic cultures, deceptively titling the video European Culture (as it should say ‘Anglo-Germanic culture).
+Kaiser I do not think that is fair on eastern Europe. Why should they become minorities in their own countries because western Europeans won't defend themselves. Many Spanish, French, and Italian villages have been ethnically cleansed of their indigenous populations to become second homes for the rich, I would not like to see the same thing happen to Prague, Budapest, Warsaw, Tallin, St Petersberg and others. My own ethnocentrism extends to other Europeans, Germany for the Germans, Finland for the Finnish, Portugal for the Portuguese, Russia for the Russians, Slovenia for the Slovenians, and so on. In my case Scotland for the Scottish. I have nothing against other Europeans, or anyone else, but I believe in every nation being free to persue cultural and economic sovereignty.

My birth certificate says I am American, but my blood and spirit says I am European, probably mostly Anglo-Saxon, but I am European 100%, and I live and pray to die for Europa. Thank you so much for such inspiration.
I am an American but have English, Celtic and Basque roots. My ancestors came to America in 1632 and setteled in the Massachusetts Bay Colony. I was blessed in 2010 to be able to travel to Europe for 4 weeks. I traveled to Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, England, Ireland and Scotland. Europe is the most beautiful place that I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. I often think back to my time there and get a melancholy feeling. Western culture struggles with the reasons - or lack thereof - for its own existence. Europe has lost its sense of self. The hows and the whys of this are extremely well argued. Guilt, conflict fatigue, political apathy, the rise of liberal fanaticism, and many other factors have weakened European identity to the point where they’ve become unable to stop or even slow the Biblical-scale influx of foreign cultures into their homeland. Western culture is wonderful, and worth saving. If only people could get their heads out of the reeking depths of the postmodern ass for long enough to realize it.

The video title it deceptive. This isn’t representative of European culture as a whole. This video focuses almost exclusively on Germanic and Anglo Saxon culture. Then you have the nerve to show a map of Europe. You should have highlighted the few Western European countries on that map.

I want to say something about people that want a "diversity in europe", they need to understand that europe is diverse enough, with their beatiful castles, beaches, lakes and amazing culture with polite people. Descended from Germans, Italians, Poles, Portuguese, Spanish, Austrians and English. I was born and am a resident in Brazil. Would it be a problem to value the cultures of my ancestors? And for Europeans, am I white or Latin American?
@@bjornkretzmann It's because I've heard that even with predominantly European DNA, if you were born in Latin America you are not white. Then I wanted to know about it. In fact, last month I visited German and Italian colonies in southern Brazil.

We Europeans from the north, east, south and west all live in one house we are unique people with a history to be proud of. We sailed the oceans of the world spreading our great inventions to the world, but the periods of our history is when turned on one another but we will never fight each other again instead we will fight as a united people.
