I do. There are a lot of holes in the ground around the buildings in one of which I reside, and in the morning (and sometimes at other times) you can see them whizzing around. But other than that, there is not much to it, since those animals - and for good reasons! - avoid other animals (including humans) to the best of their abilities. It is not as if you lived in a documentary if you live in “hamster country”.
Jan Veber
Funny thing is that, living along my 3 sister hamsters is, that is there also a mouse in their "golden villa" cage, and they excepted the mouse into their family, like one of their own ! They are all sleeping together, and the 3 hamster sisters, all take care of their exceptional 'room mate' mouse friend, like washing her, etc ! *They really treat the mouse, as one of theirs ! It's so cute to see !*
*Mine are in an over exaggerated big cage!* 😁 3 ladies in a VILLA of 180cm long x 90cm wide x 90cm high, with multiple platforms and about 12 meters of tubes! In other words, a GOLD "cage" with all the luxury, such as a swimming pool, turf, fine sand box, toys, digging bucket, toilet, and a noiseless large running wheel! While *I myself live in a retarded small studio* 🤣 Normally hamsters are at their best when they are alone, but they all come from 1 mom, so they are real sisters, and they're doing just fine! They often jump up and down, which is a sign that they are happy!
I hope we get more wildlife reservations so these little guys and other animals aren't threatened by greedy farmers which think it's okay to exterminate a species just because they threaten their plants.
