Gerald: "So how long do hedgehogs usually last?" Narrator: "Well the average lifespan of a hedgehog is around 5-8 years-" Gerald: "Not long enough. I'm gonna make an immortal one." Narrator: "Even... assuming you could, the life expectancy of a hedgehog is much lower, due to all the dangers they face in the wild." Gerald: "I'll give it a gun."
Narrator: E-excuse me? Gerald: And also the ability to channel dangerous energy to take huge chunks out of potential enemies of large size. Narrator: ...what.
It's even better when you remember he started with a titanic, barely-alive dinosaur with the power of a god. Having gone from that to small, half-alien "hedgehog" is one hell of a bioengineering leap.
@@Umbra_Ursus what makes it even FUNNIER is that The Biolozard wasn’t even supposed to be THAT Big, and I’m like… Wait, how is a TINY LIZARD or a HEDGEHOG going to help the world and Cure your Granddaughter?
Narrator: The fox is one of nature's most famous predators, known for hunting small creatures such as rabbits, birds, and hedgehogs. Tails: I'd never hunt Sonic! Narrator: What the, another one?! Get the hell out of here! And is that a second tail? How do you have two tails?! Tails: You know, I don't think I ever found an answer to that. Narrator: (sighs in disgust)
Me to tails: your second tail is most likely a “supernumerary body part”. It’s a type of genetic mutation that causes you to be born with an extra body part. Supernumerary body parts can be any part of the body. They can be fingers, toes, internal organs, teeth, and even entire limbs. They don’t always function properly, if at all, but sometimes they function perfectly. It’s really fascinating!
The funny thing is, if you did an actual nature documentary on the various teams in Sonic, you'd find that almost every team has a member who is a natural predator to other members on that same team. Team Sonic: Foxes eat hedgehogs Team Chaotix: Chameleons eat insects The Hooligans: Weasels eat ducks Team Rose: Big cats eat rabbits Team Dark: Bats eat robots Babylon Rogues: Hawks eat small birds like swallows Neo Diamond Cutters: Wolves eat sheep
It wasn't really random, Sonic was just interacting with the narrator before he said that and he was expressing, most likely out of fear, to the audience that Hedgehogs cannot break the fourth wall like Sonic just did.
"Alright, finally, foxes are dogs that are wild in Canada" Tails:" foxes? My Speices" "CHANGE THE FOOTAGE!" "Ok, Foxes are not aware that a zombie virus called Rabies are spreading " Tails: "Foxes are small to medium-sized, omnivorous mammals belonging to several genera of the family Canidae. They have a flattened skull, upright, triangular ears, a pointed, slightly upturned snout, and a long bushy tail. Twelve species belong to the monophyletic "true fox" group of genus Vulp-" "CUT THE CAMERA!" "Okay. I QUIT THIS JOB!" Tails: "Are we still talking about foxes? "AAAAA" *We will be right back.*
Narrator: Cut! Cut! *Coughs* Narrator: Lets try this... Bats are very swift and elegant flight experts that are most commonly found in groups of- Rouge: Why hello there Darling?~ Narrator: *OH FUCKING GOD-*
Damn, if the documentary narrator finds normal Sonic and Knuckles pretty disturbing, I cannot even imagine his reactions when he knows about their Ken Pender's depiction...
While not the same in the Sonic twitter there Is a post of Sonic daily routine when he Is not in an adventure and guy spend like 3 hours (2 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon) running/jogging... i think... He Also has a 12 hours sleep schedule (sleep at 12pm and wake up at 12am... Or was it switched?)
Hedgehogs, contrary to what many may think, can grow up to 1 meter in height, or 3'6'' feet, sometimes they can reach 35 kilograms and have a blue coloration to their quills and fur.
Narrator: "Here we have two male hedgehogs fighting for the food they found. Their fighting skills are mostly shoving, pushing, and ramming their spikes at each other." *Scene switches to Sonic and Shadow* Sonic: "I found you, faker." Shadow: "Faker? I think you're the fake hedgehog around here."
The house cat is a carnivore, meaning it usually eats meat. Its prey includes small birds, mice, fish, and frogs. Big: Who said that Froggy? Alright, that's it, I quit.
Narrator: Let's see how bees living. There's a bunch of bees that flying over flowers and eating nectar. And there's bee- wait... Why does this bee is so big? Why it has the strange eyes? And boots? Ok, let's change the view... It's a beehive. Here bees gather turning nectar into honey- Charmy: **jump in front of camera** Hey, i love honey! Narrator: What the- hey, Operator let's get outta here and shoot about other animal! Charmy: Wait! I want to be on camera! **Some times later** Narrator: These are crocodiles that lie near the shore waiting for prey. One of them can be seen coming out of the water to- Wait... why does he walk on two legs? Vector: Hey! Are you spying on me? Have you've seen Charmy the bee? Narrator: What is going on!?
Narrator: "Alright, lets just.. explain a wildlife of a weasel.. *ahem* "Weasels are a small, long bodied mammal who are native to parts of..." Fang: "Oi! Who are you callin' small!? Stop filming me you weirdo!" Narrator: "OH FOR CHRIST SA-" **Fang shoots the camera** [PLEASE STAND BY]
@@VictorTheAlien101Male bees don't have stingers - Charmy is a trans boy (or maybe just a fictional bee species that works differently, but it's still a fun headcanon). Fang recently being revealed to be designed as a jerboa instead of a weasel kinda floored me. But in hindsight it fits his appearance a lot better.
@@VictorTheAlien101 Fang later appears while the narrator discusses wolves and jerboas. He appears to be having an increasing identity crisis as this goes on, as even he isn't sure what species he is
The joke explainer has arrived: The reason Knuckles tells the cameraman to not talk about his penith is because Echidnas are know for having a quadruple penith
Knuckles did us all a favor by stopping the narrator before he went to other animals. I have a feeling an episode about actual foxes would leave Tails traumatised.
“next we have a fox, a generally cautious and-“ “hi, could i see your camera for a moment? it’s model doesn’t seem to manage data efficiently?” *cut* “uh, foxes are usually seen hunting land creatures as they cannot fly- oh come on, why does this happen?” *cut* “foxes, unless very unlucky, always have one singular tail, and cannot use it at all to propel themselves, the fur is also too soft to hold things, foxes also normally work on instinct” *cut to Tails building a machine* “oh hi again, right now i’m building a-“ “okay, new animal… how about bats? yeah- wait! i was gonna give that ring to my fiancé! get back here!” *10 minutes later* “okay, what about crocodiles- no, nevermind. uh, bird- nope not that, uhhhhh”
