Great to meet you lads, and good to hear we all set off with the same tactics. It's funny that a couple hundred yards down the beach, we had terrible weed for the first hour, then next to nothing for the rest of the day. Looking forward to day 2!

Well done to the organisers for upping the size limits,I hope a lot of our local clubs follow suit.

Hi, much the same for us further up the coast. We looked at the spot you chose on the Thursday at low tide. Did not look to us like it had any fish holding spots like it did last year. Found some deeper water further up. Did us no good on Saturday but we did weigh in on the Sunday. Sorry not to bump into you at the club. May be next year. Tight lines. Steve.

Another great video lads. Kilnsea was much the same. Fish in the 1st hour, then weed an tide, with the odd fish amoungst the weed. Sure garys fish looked like a haddock. Quality of your videos, set the bench mark for beach f8shing on youtube 👌

Pioneer 1L foodflask stainless, uk online around £21 .Plenty options on sizes. Used my 4 for nearly 10 years still going strong, for Crab, Sandeels, initially and now my Cart, stays frozen solid, Had my unused backup crab stay solid frozen 24 hours on an away trip over west once, straight back to freezer perfect on return home no waste. Plus point there also very light. And dare l say unbreakable, mine been bounced off rocks, dropped down a cliff and apart from the dings are solid still. Alright mate. Good to see the pair of you at the euros again. We only had about an hour and a half of weed where we were on the southern beaches about mid match. Bar that fishable. Still didn’t catch anything of note the first day 😂 keep up the videos 👍

Shame conditions were not on your side looked a nightmare getting weeded off an like gary said when its ebbing and the wind at the same time its ripping no good changing reels over from braid to mono not like yous put the graft in but thats what its all about yous were there doing it well done and tight lines a was over balcary last wk end had a few rays out thats about it next trip be on the hounds

How did you get on day 2 no wind and weed.

What happened to day 2

I use a big Stanley tea flask, put it in the freezer overnight with the screw lid off. Keeps my cart frozen for around 8 hours!
