I am shocked that Lake Tahoe was not on the list. its the highest elevation in the US and straddles California and Nevada. Its absolutley beautiful. It should be at least number 99 😃

Anyone who has never been to the great smoky mountains NEEDS to go before they die. They are breathtaking. Of course they’re not as tall as the mountains out west, many of which I’ve also been to but the Smokies have such an atmosphere it’s amazing. One of my favorite national parks in the Us

I've lived in 5 states and visited probably 80% of the US...and there is not a State in the US that you couldn't spend a week and feel like you barely scratched the surface! There's a youtuber that spent a year and a half in the USA. Her name is Eva Zu Beck and if you watch her videos you'll see the deepest dive into an European's perspective on America

For a European visiting the US, I would give this advice. 1) Bring a spouse and a couple kids OR two or three buddies you can spend a lot of time with without getting on each others nerves. 2) Do some research and pick one road trip. (the us is too big to do more) 3) Get a comfortable ride. 4) Have a list of things to see and do, but mostly just drive until you see something you want to checkout. Stop and check it out. 5) Eat at local diners. America maybe famous for fast food, but the local American diner is just the best.

Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina should definitely be on this list somewhere in the top 50.

Greetings from New Mexico USA! Remember when planning your trip that many off these places are fairly close to each other. For example: the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon and Canyon de Chelly are not far from each other. The Four Corners States (Arizona, Utah , Colorado and New Mexico) are amazing and you can easily hit multiple sites and National Parks . Check your map and remember, Americans drive. Starting in Denver Colorado and depending on how long of a trip you can take, you can end your trip in Las Vegas NV, Phoenix AZ, or Las Angeles CA. Check the map, and don't be scared to drive.

The Winchester Mystery House was the home of the man who invented the Winchester rifle. When he died a psychic told his wife that the ghosts of people who died by the rifle were haunting her home. She hired some workers and for the next 30 some years she had them building on the house. To confuse the ghosts she had steps going to walls. She never slept in the same room. 13 was her favorite number so most tiles on the floor and ceiling number 13. There is so much to see about the wacky house. I love going there. ❤

99 As a native Arizonan, there's so much beauty nearby. Grand Canyon, Canyon de Chelly, Joshua Tree/Mohave Desert, Petrified Forest and Painted Desert, Sedona, Tombstone, Saguaro National Park, and then swing up through "The Mighty 5" of Southern Utah, Monument Valley, and end in Vegas.

You're not crazy about Maine. I live here. If you're into forests, maple syrup, and rocky coasts, it's the place for you! Fall is the most popular time for the fall colors, but the mountains in the summer are nice and mild, and the spring greenery is so beautiful and intense, it's almost worth dealing with the mud and black flies :D

If you plan on coming to US, get a big map and put stickers, etc. for everything you want to see. Look for clusters. The Hollywood sign isn't worth going to California for, but if you're already in LA, it's a simply drive by to see it.

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the most visited in the U. S. It's very beautiful with lots to do.

Hey Andre, I saw you writing down Niagra Falls for your list BUT BE AWARE that Niagra Falls is shared between Canada and the U.S., and the best views of it are seen from the Canadian side, so what this means is that if you are committed to seeing NF, then you will be best served to get passports to both the U.S. and Canada.

Fun video, I love your appreciation for natural beauty. I was raised in Colorado, and I believe I could give you a list of 100 jaw-dropping beautiful places to stand and take it all in, just in Colorado. I live in Wyoming now, and the same goes for here. Montana, Northern California, Oregon Washington state, and the Black Hills of South Dakota would be the same. I'm speaking only about the mountains, valleys, coastlines and of course wildlife. I've cried many tears of awe in these places. I love your channel ! Edit: Alaska is still on my list.

Fun fact - Golden Gate Bridge, the cables that hold it up stretch by 12 feet/4 meters from 9am - 3pm just because of the heat of the sun and how much the steel expands when heated. Everyday!

I went to the Grand Canyon and it is stunning. Even my jerk brother who has no interest in nature stopped and dropped his jaw. We approached it in a car from the south in Arizona and there were many trees hiding it, but as they began to disappear we could see the vast expanse behind them. Absolutely shocking and as good as Mars for sure .

As a long time Arizona resident, I am always happy to hear you appreciate our amazing desert beauty. I have taken so many visitors to the Grand Canyon and their reaction is always the same. After a four hour drive from Phoenix, when we pull into the park, they laugh and wonder if it's really worth it. Then we walk to a lookout point and their jaws drop and they just say "OMG" over and over and don't want to leave. It is magnificent.

Death Valley is insane. It's below sea level and the highest recorded temperature is 137 degrees. It's ridiculous. And yes, it will kill if you if you aren't prepared. It's also home to the weird rocks that leave trails in the mud at night. Took them decades to figure out what the heck was going on with those. And the raw harsh desert really does have a beauty of its own. It makes you feel things. Hard to describe.

Something I’d like to add, after watching all of this video and the National Parks video, is Colorado is one of the best places for natural beauty that I have been to. I recommend Garden of the Gods park, Pike’s Peak (it’s the highest peak in the Rocky Mountains’ Front Range at 14,115-feet/4,302.31 m.), Saint Mary’s Glacier, and the Seven Bridges trail. I strongly recommend, if you go to a place like Colorado, to acclimate yourself to the altitude before trekking on these trails.

I would add the historic district of Savannah, Georgia, in the month of March. In March, the lavendar wisteria vines are in bloom, as are the azaleas and dogwood trees. It is spectacular.

The state of Oregon has so much natural beauty and many different climate types. Where I live is warm and rainy right now but I can drive 20 minutes to the mountain full of snow, or 2 hours in one direction to the desert. And I can even drive 2 hours in the other direction to the beach.

There are so many things to see. I definitely think you would like a trip through the Appalachian Mountain range, especially in the fall when the tress change colors. Almost like there are 99 colors. Lol

Baseball is absolutely alive and well. Here in St Louis, over 3 million people per year attend Cardinals games, and attendance is rising in many of the other markets. Great spectator sport: night games in summer are awesome!

I have been to 49 of these. My favorites are Mount Rushmore. Not the monument itself though. The trip there is incredible if you go to Custer South Dakota and take the Needles Highway to the monument. The road, scenery and wildlife along this route is just incredible. My next favorite is the Columbia river gorge. Just east of Portland Oregon they have a road called the waterfall trail. It runs next to the Columbia river and has many waterfalls next to the road. The most famous of these falls is Multnomah falls. Google that falls and you will see how beautiful it is. This road is also part of the Oregon trail that the famous explorers Lewis and Clark took as the got near the Pacific Ocean. My 3rd would be the Golden Gate Bridge. The bridge is amazing but my favorite part is under the one end of the park is an old fort called the Presidio. It is a fascinating place. I did watch the whole video. I love your videos. Thank you.

The Smithosonian Museums in Washington,DC are the largest complex of museums in the world.

Monument Valley is a must see. The John Wayne cabin is there, where he made many westerns. The monument t is on Navajo Land and is operated by the Navajo's. Be sure to take a guided 4x4 tour and be sure to go into some of the stores and you will hear Navajo's speaking their native language. Their language was used in WW2 by the "code talkers" and was never. broken or understood by the Japanese. Ton 's of history here and when we were there about 70% of the tourists we ran into were European vacationers.

They literally didn’t even show Mackinac island!!!! It is gorgeous and you can’t have cars or motorized vehicles! Please please check out this island in a better video. What they show in this video is the UP not the island. Also the rock and roll hall of fame is an incredible feat of architecture and inducts the greatest artists of all time! Not poor versions of Elvis.

Arizona. Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada - You can see Grand Canyon, Sedona, The Wave, Vermillion Cliffs, Monument Valley, Zion, Arches, Bryce Canyon, Rocky Mountains, 4 Corners, Petrified Forest, Hover Dam, Las Vegas, Carlsbad, and Taos Pueblo in one trip

Yes, you wrote down the Grand Canyon this time. When I was there standing on the South Rim I started to cry. It is a must. And walk down the canyon trail to the first warning sign. It's fun.

Highway 1 from north of San Fransisco all the way up to Washington is extremely beautiful. The highway next to the ocean, so you have the ocean on one side of you and forests on the other side. If you like seafood then you will really love all the FRESH seafood restaurants along the way. PLUS!!! Along the highway is the Redwood Forests, Trees of Mystery in California. Oregon has the most beautiful coastline, but also has lots of lighthouses, Sea Lion Caves, and if you like the movie "The Goonies", then in Astoria, Oregon you can see where it was filmed, but crossing the bridge from Astoria, Oregon into Washington is AWESOME!! You can eventually cross over to another highway that will take you to the BEAUTIFUL OLYMPIC NATIONAL FOREST! I have always dreamed of going there, I have been near there, but never had the time to go see it. Also, if you haven't noticed, there were several places mentioned in Arizona on the list. Because all those places are within driving distance, you could spend 3 days to see them all. We have been to the Grand Canyon in the summer and winter (seeing it in winter with the snow is BEAUTIFUL). We have also been to Sequoia National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Zion National Park, all of the Redwood Forests, Oregon Caves, Trees of Mystery, the Highway 1 drive from Calif to Washington. I really don't care to go to big cities, but when my husband was alive we went to a lot If you go to Alaska, ride the Alaskan Train to Denali. The train goes places that cars don't and can't go, so you will see some very very beautiful places and wildlife! Also, go to Seward, Alaska. They have AWESOME boat cruises that will take you to see the most beautiful places you have ever seen and glaciers, wildlife, whales, and more!!! Seward is a beautiful little town. I took the 6 hour cruise around all the bays and islands to see EVERYTHING!! You will not regret it! Never give up your dream. Even if you can only do a little at a time, it is worth it. Just don't go to Alaska in the winter. HA-HA-HA!

West Virginia has so many under appreciated places of natural beauty !

For maximum natural wonder, in my experience and in no particular order: the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, the Everglades, the Smokey Mountains, Rocky Mountains National Park, Monument Valley and Zion, Big Bend, Glacier National Park, the Mojave, the Great Plains, Olympic National Park/Hoh Rain Forest/Olympic Peninsula, Sequoia and King's Canyon, Yosemite, Shanendoah, the Florida Keys, the Mississippi Delta and Cajun Country, the Oregon Coast and any of the Cascades, Michigan's Upper Peninsula, the Grand Tetons, Saguaro, Badlands, and just about anywhere in Alaska, but Denali for sure. Those are the major highlights, from what I know (I haven't been to the Upper Peninsula or Denali, but they're on my bucket list), but there are so, so many national and state, parks, forests, and other wildlands, that I couldn't ever do justice without listing them all. I'm partial to mountain evergreen forests, myself. But I'll take the Smokey Mountains anytime, where mists hang between the trees in small, thin layers like wisps of smoke, and the forest seems unnaturally hushed after rain. This is a beautiful country. I wish I could see it all.

My top 3, Yosemite, Yellowstone and Crater Lake. My write-in, not on his list, is Lassen Volcanic National Park. 99

Just a reminder that everyone has their own scale and judgment on what they think is beautiful. I personally value historical significance slightly above natural beauty which is why I love Washington DC, Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland so much. There's a lot of Civil war history as well as American history and museums in that area. I visited the Antietam national Battlefield and to this day it's my favorite vacation spot. It doesn't quite feel haunted, more like you're walking through a cemetery and through history itself because you quite literally are. When you come to America pick the place that is right for you, I didn't know how much I would love the area around Antietam and Washington DC so you might be pleasantly surprised with the choices you make!

1) Highway 101 (Long Beach, Columbia River, Oregon Dunes, Redwoods, Monterey, Big Sur, Hearst Castle, etc. 2) Grand Canyon 3) Haleakala National Park, Maui (not listed wtf) 4) The Mall, Washington D.C.

Yellowstone, Yosemite, rte 101 Big Sur California, Oregon Coast .... USA has to have a road trip

1) Hawaii (I lived there, its incredible, the whole state!) 2)Grand Canyon ( I have been to 25 states so far, this was the most jaw-droping thing I've seen and the pictures still don't do it justice!) 3) New England ( I live in Maryland, and the North Easteren states have a Spring and Fall season that is just so beautiful, its unlike anywhere else in the world. And every season is unique and distinct. From light snow, to flower buds to cherry blossoms to lush greens and fire flies, to lovely fall foliage colors). 99! Honestly every state has something gourgeous to see though, these are just some of my best experiances, along with my preference. The Iconic things, I've seen, and should be seen by everyone at least once. My recommendation for you would be that, during the colder months visit once to south and cover all you can, and then come back in the warmer months to go to the north, mostly spring (which is going to be different from Europe and your experiances). And then come back in the fall, especifically, for a road trip across USA. I have been alive for about 30 year, have yet to accomplish seeing this entire beautiful country, everyday I find out about something else! So I wish you the best of luck doing it! 😂❤

99! I'm a big fan of Yosemite! The E at the end is pronounced like the letter E! Like "tee" or "tea." And the stress is placed on the second syllable, Se. Yo-SE-mi-tea!

I gotta make the 101 trip my number 1. There's beautiful scenery all the way north and south. The art deco bridges are very iconic. Big Sur is along the way plus the beauty of Oregon and Washington

I'm a Spaniard/American lived in Spain and America, specifically California. Yosemite is gorgeous, but you can also see the Redwoods, Lake Tahoe, Mt. Shasta, the deserts such as Joshua tree or Death Valley. The sea towns like Monterey bay, Carmel, big Sur, so many. Gorgeous hot beaches like La Jolla, Crystal Cove. Anyways you get everything here. The beaches, the mountains, the rivers, the trees, the deserts, the snow. Los Angeles isnt really a touristy place. San Francisco has pretty areas. But dont go downtown. The more north, the more trees. The more north east, the more trees, rivers, and mountains.

When you say New York people are not friendly, I believe you are talking about New York City. New York State is huge with 19 million people. People in other parts of New York are very friendly. Buffalo is at the other end of the state, close to Niagara Falls. We are noted for being the City of Good Neighbors, and hot Chicken Wings.

Monument Valley is one of my favorites. They have a hotel there, where all the rooms face this view. It's so lovely.

I've been to 45 of the locations in the video. Hard to pick a top three, but I'll try. Yellowstone for sure, Crater Lake (took me three trips to finally see the lake; first time the fog was so thick I couldn't see it from the lodge, second time the snow drifts were six feet or more high, third time lucky), Route 66 (my favorite bits are in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma). Fourth would be the Columbia River Gorge area in Oregon; I once spent a weekend photographing the river and waterfalls with a photo group. But there are so many magnificent places not in the video, like Lake Tahoe (California and Nevada), Bryce Canyon National Park (Utah), Napa, Sonoma & Mendocino Wine Country (California), and the lesser known Palouse area of Eastern Washington, where I spent another photographic weekend shooting incredible natural beauty.

First of all 99. I always watch all of your videos regardless of the length. Number 4 on the video is the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is my absolute favorite and I have traveled it many times. I have many photographs that I have taken and would love to share with you so that you can see how beautiful it really is. North Carolina is absolutely beautiful. The #1 place I haven't been to that's on my list is Alaska. I have worked in New York, Florida, Illinois, Wyoming, California, Arizona, and Nevada. All of those places have beautiful areas with very diverse natural environments. I appreciate all of your commentary and it helps to remind me just how beautiful my country really is. My #1 European country to visit is Portugal!

Times square is a must see. It’s iconic and close to great restaurants and Broadway shows.

There isn't abetter experience than running in the desert during a rain storm as the sun peaks over the mountains. I hate running; but this is a truly different experience.

99. I'm headed to the Smoky Mountains for New Years Eve. My boyfriend's friend has a large cabin in Pigeon Forge where the fires ravaged a couple years ago. They rebuilt the cabin bigger and better than ever.

One great place here in the US is Pikes Peak, a 14,000+ foot tall mountain that has a drivable road right up to the top. Its one of the most beautiful places in this world, honestly. ❤

I am a native Californian, and as such I should be entirely loyal to Yosemite as the best national park in the country. And it is spectacular, so if you can visit, you won't be at all disappointed! But if you can only pick one, it should be Yellowstone. The first time I went there I really didn't have much idea of what to expect, and when I stumbled on the Norris Geyser Basin, and began to wander around, I started to weep. For decades afterwards, I couldn't describe this place to anyone without starting to tear up. I overheard one disrespectful young kid complaining to his parents that he hated it there because it "stank." Sulfur fumes do fill the air, but the glorious landscape and the boiling pools of water and the rainbow colors of the algae all around were so otherworldly and ancient and beautiful, that you couldn't help but understand that it was just the warm breath of Mother Earth that you were experiencing. I wanted to smack that whiny kid for not showing her the respect she was due.

99! ❤ Born and raised in Colorado but I adore the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the Great Smoky Mountains. Obviously I adore what Colorado has too, but New Mexico is highly underrated in my opinion (and my fav food in the world).

Just remember, you're seeing most of this from the air(scenic views). Alot looks different from the ground.

99 - Thank you for your interest in Alaska! Hopefully some day you can make it up here. If you ever do, please make sure to come in the summer! Here in Anchorage, it's between like 17-23 C which I think is perfect, though we do tend to have 18-20 hours of daylight at that time (better than the 4-5 hours we have right now). Those touristy things he showed you are absolutely worth it if you can, but I think a plane ride around Denali and landing on a glacier is $450+. If someone landed in Anchorage and wanted to see AK beauty without spending a ton, I'd google the Seward Highway. You can take it as far as you want and make stops along the way before coming back to Anchorage. Or you could make the drive out to Seward or take the even better 4-hour drive to Homer and go down to the spit, especially if you like fishing and/or camping. But yes, you have an awesome list, even if you do come and stay in the Lower 48, I hope you stick to your National Parks list! Many people watch videos on the beauty and how nice people are in the US and end up disappointed afterwards after only visiting NYC and LA.

Mackinac Island is amazing! You can take the ferry from Mackinaw City, or drive across the Mackinaw Bridge and take the ferry from St Ignace. No cars are allowed on the Island. You can take your own bicycle or rent a bike or a horse on the Island. You can also go to Fort Mackinac while you're there. It was where the War of 1812 began, when the English invaded from Canada. While on the Island, you simply MUST stop in at any one of the fudge shops there. There's nothing better than Mackinac Island fudge! In Mackinaw City, a visit to Fort Michilimackinac is in order. There's a museum there depicting life in New France during colonial times. Should you go to St Ignace to get to Mackinac Island, then you should really go all-out and venture up to Sault Ste Marie (called The Soo) here in Michigan. It was founded in 1662 by Fr Jacques Marquette, and is one of the oldest cities in the US. It's older than Detroit by 39 years. Between Grand Marais and Munising, also in Michigan's Upper Peninsula is Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. It's best seen from a boat on Lake Superior. They're a sandstone escarpment on the Lake Superior shore, complete with arches and semi-frozen waterfalls. It's beyond beautiful. There's also the Porcupine Mountains State Park , which is labeled as a "wilderness' state park. The Porcupine Mountains are the second oldest mountain range in the world, at just over 2 billion years old. They're the oldest in North America, with the Appalachians being slightly younger at 1.8 billion years old. There are waterfalls everywhere.

You can actually swim in the east coast beaches. The Russian Current that runs along the west coast makes the water there very cold

As a life-long avid outdoorsman who loves mountains and forests, hiking, camping, hunting and fishing all of my bucket list places are in the mountains. We live in Montana north of Yellowstone and have camped and hiked within Montana for vacations and weekends for over 40 years, and still have many places we have not been to yet.

I live in Maine near Moosehead lake. We have 300 acres bordering the 100 mile wilderness of the Appalachian trail. W we have many waterfalls on our property. It is truly beautiful.

99 I've been to 31 places on the list. I've been to 49 states, including living 3 years in Hawaii as a kid. I've never ever had a wanting to visit Alaska. But I've only been to 3 countries outside the US . . . and two don't count - they touch the US 😊. The other was Iceland when NATO still had a base there. I think one of my most memorable trips was to the Kennedy Space Center . . . Early Nov. 1998 we visited the Space Center, not remembering that John Glenn was up on the Space Station and got to hear the conversation going on up there and between the people on the ground. My kids still remember that. And still have the ink pens they gave out there. 😊

32:15 Baseball is definitely still a "popular" sport, but it's taken a hard slide to #3 in the last two decades. A lot of this came down to the sport slowing down when life has been speeding up. Nobody wants to sit and watch a 4 hour game where, two thirds of the time, nothing is happening or it's on commercial break. Fortunately Major League Baseball made some rule changes last year that have helped speed the game up a bit and now games are averaging under 3 hours again. Hopefully this helps, as it's my favorite sport. The last 10-15 years have not been kind to the sport, though.

Sorry I'm commenting so much. My top 3 are Yosemite, Yellowstone, & Glacier National Park. I've been to Alaska & it's awesome!! I went on an all day salmon & halibut fishing trip in Sitka. That's my favorite day I've ever had in my life. I also went panning for gold, went dog sledding, hiked through a rain forest, went crabbing, then had an all you can eat crab buffet afterwards. My family & I took a Carnival cruise from Vancouver to Whittier, then flew home from Anchorage.

It's too bad that he couldn't link areas where multiple of these sites are close enough together to see with a car. Even the drives between places can be mini adventures. Maine is a beautiful state, for sure, but I would definitely not put it in my top 10 states. ( I have been blessed to see a lot of the usa through my profession and love of travel.)

99 I haven't been out west but have been to many places along the east coast and out to the midwest. I would have to say the Smokey Mountains is the best I've seen. I rented a beautiful cabin on the side of the mountain with a rap around porch. It was on Cherokee Indian land and the very sweet old Cherokee Indian woman that owned it lived in the only other home in view. Second choice would be West Virginia. Vermont would probably be third. (Bonus) Fourth would be Florida. There are so many crystal clear streams in and around Ocala that are incredibly beautiful. Great places for kayaking and canoeing.

Grand Canyon is a must- you can't understand until you're there.

Growing up in California I've been to both Yosemite and Sequoia multiple times and they never get old. Just make sure you take your mosquito repellant if you go during the warmer months because they'll eat you alive otherwise.

I've been to 48 places in video & 32 of 50 U.S. states. To me Arizona is #1 for its unique scenery & Grand Canyon. California coast & beaches on Pacific Ocean is different than East Coast beaches on Atlantic Ocean. Pennsylvania is beautiful & has a lot of historic sites as well as a large Amish community. Tennessee has beautiful scenic drive through Blue Ridge Mountains. If you visit U.S., you would most likely fly into New York City so you could spend several days seeing various sites there (Statue of Liberty, Times Square, Museum of Natural History, Coney Island, 9/11 memorial, Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center) & then decide what other state or area you want to see because your top 10 list are all over the country & would take weeks to see because of great distances between them. (For example, Niagara Falls, New York, is 7+ hours northwest of New York City.)

I've been to 47 of the 50 States . . Pick a few you like and explore the area around it . . There will be many less famous but extremely beautiful places to visit. . Oh . And I love the Black Lotus😁

The Grand Canyon is one of the few tourist spots I’ve visited that is not over hyped. Absolutely awe inspiring.

😆 Baseball is still very relevant, Ohtani just signed the largest contract in sports history, passed Messi by almost 30 million. All 30 teams are worth over a billion each collectively they are worth a little more than 65 Billion. I don't know of any business in America that can has that kind of value that has gone away. Baseball and more importantly MLB will be played centuries into the future.

1. Alaska (all of it) 2. Montana (all of it) 3. Oregon (many beautiful places, just stay away from Portland) I Love nature and that is why I chose those, not a fan of big cities but for a first time visit there are some exceptions for sure.

My wife and I toured the west and south west in May. We saw so many wonderous things. I grew up (64) seeing the Grand Canyon in magazines and films. I thought I knew...I didn't. When we first walked to the rim (south rim) at Mathers Point, the size and expanse literally took my breath away. My wife was intent on photographing sunrise and sunset at the canyon. The evening, of our first full day, there were thunderstorms. We stayed in Tusayan, a few miles from the canyon. She insisted on going. As we pulled into the parking lot, the sun was coming out after the storms. As we approached the rim, there was a rainbow extending half way down into the canyon. It lasted almost an hour. Another breath taking moment. Zion, Glenn Canyon, Goose Necks, Valley of the Gods, The Moki Dugway/Muley Point overlook and Arches all provided breath taking scenery. Just driving from place to place is like being on the moon. And yes, we took pictures at the spot where Forrest Gump ended his run.

If you ever make it to the Grand canyon you can either do a rafting trip down the river or you can take a helicopter ride and they'll take you over the canyon so you can see it from a birds eye view

99 - There are a few places in this video I'd still like to see, mainly some of the historical places in the New England states, and the state of Alaska for the wildlife and Northern lights. My favorites - 1) Rocky Mountain National Park (the sheer beauty), 2) the Alamo (the sense of history), and 3) Yellowstone (the bison). I've been through New Mexico many times but have yet to visit Taos. I'd still like to visit. Left off this video's list are two of my favorite historical Native American Indian sites of the Ancient Pueblo, Mesa Verde in Colorado and Chaco Canyon in New Mexico. Another fascinating place in New Mexico as a quick side trip is Inscription Rock. It has centuries of "graffiti" on it from ancient peoples to conquistadors to the westward movement.

Watched the whole video so here is your "99". I've been to about 15 or 20 of these places or was close to them. The US has so many pretty places to see. Western Washington State is beautiful and worth exploring for a summer.

99. You asked about the beaches in Florida versus California. Floridas beaches are made for sunbathing and swimming. They are quite beautiful. The water is very warm. I’m from Northern California and the ocean is very cold. I was amazed when I was able to walk into the waters off Florida. Southern California beaches have warmer water and many for sunbathing. The northern coast is much rockier but is very beautiful. The highway mentioned in the video that goes up the coasts of California, Oregon and Washington is well worth a drive IF you have the time!. I know you know how big the country is. I spent three months driving 17,000 miles around the United States and parts of Canada. The trip came about as a friend and I felt we should see the Grand Canyon. We got there by a very circuitous route. The country is beautiful. I hope you make it someday. All the best.

Here's a little tip. - Go to the Grand Canyon in the Spring. Not in Summer. It will be less busy, and not nearly as hot as it would be in the Summer.

If the Statue of Liberty is a must-see for you, I recommend walking through the city as well while you are there; as there are a lot of great free museums and historic spots. Plus New York has really good food places with a wide range of different cultures to choose from, famously known as a melting pot.

Oregon is wet 8 months a year but Summer is spectacular especially in September. The Columbia river is fantastic to travel.

99. I’ve been to 22 of these places. There are so many places not on this list. California is a great place to go visit because you have so many different types of locations. You have beaches, you have redwoods, you have mountains, you have desert. We have both Disneyland and Yosemite! It’s such a large state. You have just about everything here.

I lived in San Diego for 37 years, and the San Diego Zoo is THE zoo to see! It's beautiful and full of wonderful and varied species.

99. If you are adventurous, you can ride a mule to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. If you want to be a cowboy, there are ranches you can stay at and help round up cattle, even able to do it as a couple of days.

99 I didn’t write them down but I’ve been of all the CA ones except Death Valley, most of the NYC ones, Pearl Harbor, French quarter, Vegas, Grand Canyon… those are the ones I remember off the top of my head. The Giant Sequoias in #100 are unbelievable.

Tennessee mountains are truly worth seeing. They really do have a purple haze during certain times of the year. It's absolutely beautiful.
