European Trucking - we’re off to Rungis 

It was a pleasure to watch this video ,i used to do Rungis when i was living in Holland in the 1980,s , i will be waiting for the next video . Greetings from NewBrunswick Canada, Arie (Boomer) this was my handle when i was still driving ,have a safe one.

The last time abroad with a coach , they found 3 illegals tucked away under the coach near the engine. The dogs did a good job. But I was held up by 3 hours. And luckily no fines.

The very first time me and my hubby drove through Gent (had taken the Ramsgate/Zeebrugge) route at the time, our car broke down. The town had cobbled streets, and our car just cut out a few miles outside. It was about 11:00pm and we managed to park up on a slip road. I had to walk to the end of it, and luckily, there was a hotel not too far away, and I made a call for someone to come out. Unlike the AA/RAC, they worked 7:00am/10:30pm. When he turned up, I explained what had happened and where we'd come from. He said that it was always happening because of the cobbles. He just waggled some plug in the engine, and it was fixed. Roughly two minutes🤣🤣🤣

I must admit Ben , when you get treated like that at a tip it just puts a downer on the day, I used to hate that part of the job, and I most certainly could not put up with Rungis, although I only did UK work on a ridged but then it seems the norm now to treat drivers like that

Some of those parking bays are really tight and does not afford any slight miscalculations to back in. Some of those workers dont exert themselves too much!!

Hi Ben. You make a good video, mate. What a headache Rungis must be. Do they treat British drivers differently there too, they way they do at the Eurotunnel customs?

Is it a U.K. driver thing with them being rude towards you or are they like that with everyone? I’m out of the game now & only ever done a bit pond hopping and thankfully everyone I met abroad was decent enough. Hopefully someone one day will adjust their attitude😂
