European Trucking - No go in Czecho (plus how to get your toll box) 

love the way you are always chilled out nothing seems to upset you (even miserable people) is there anywhere that puts the stress levels up!!!

Short story long, I drove a 2 car enclosed car transporter to do a film shoot for Audi USA, we were booked for a couple of weeks so I had to guesstimate how much credit to put on the box, this was shortly after the toll system in CZ went live, as it worlked out we didn't do too much truck driving while we were there so there was a a lot of credit on the box, when I put the credit on the box I asked the woman if I needed to get the credit back how I would go about it she said " Oh that's no problem just visit the services opposite on the way out and you'll get a refund" anyway on the way out I pulled in to the last services before the border where she to go only to find theres no vignette refund place there, not only that but they've out a fence installed along the middle barrier on the motorway to stop you crossing to get your refund where you paid in the first place, needless to say I was a bit pissed off so I drove out of CZ into Germany turned around then went back to see the soppy tart who put the credit on the box in the first place, she was quite shocked when I presented the box and asked for my money back which she duly refunded, I then had to get back out of CZ without gettinng stopped by the police which I managed, felt quite smug as I beat their system, the robbing sods are all too happy to keep your money.

A week to get tipped, unbelievable. Who pays for all this, the customer. Great Vlog.

Spotted an Iran registered Mercedes Actros on the M1 northbound in December’23. More great content in this vlog. I suppose if you have to have an enforced stay of 1 week, what could be a better place to be.👍

I did a few trips last year and parked exactly where you were in pilsen my agent was just to the right of you there. She’s a right miserable gyt in toll box booth wouldn’t take my v5 as it opens up. You can do in big building tho they a lot more helpful in there. 👍🏻

Hi Ben. Brilliant video. Can't believe you have to wait a week to get into your customer, but hey ho, you get to visit lovely places like Prague. Its a good ideal sometimes, you can get to visit these places, and if you like them take a city break when the weather is better🤣

I was doing a run north of Prague all through covid collecting cars and luckily had a hotel every night. Stay safe on your travels

Bit of a random question, but always wondered how lorries avoid getting flashed on red light cameras, especially when in the UK and driving in congested cities. In heavy traffic, how can you clear a junction by the time a light goes from amber to red when driving something the size of an artic?

The part of Euro trucking I dislike. Having to park up without any facility's and waiting around for days on end. Had a lot of that doing exhibition work. But glad to see you had time to visit Prague. As always an interesting vlog.
