In this video we will be looking at our Europress Stainless Steel SuperSize System. Our SuperSize range includes 139.7mm and 168.3mm tube, fittings, brackets, flanges, and seals. They’re used in the food and beverage industry, HVAC, mechanical services, fire safety, wastewater, water treatment, industrial and commercial industries. They’re used in a wide range of applications, including, Potable water, wastewater, compressed air, glycol, gas, and chemical lines to name a few.
Compared to other tube options available, Europress SuperSize tube offers a larger inside bore and therefore increases flow capacity, while also reducing pressure loss and fluid velocity. The physical weight of the pipework is over 52% lighter compared to traditional black pipe. This reduces the minimum bracket spacing, giving significant savings on bracketing costs.
Let’s look at the specifications.
1. The entire range is made from AISI 316L stainless steel, which is known for its high-quality and low carbon content which gives it increased corrosion resistance.
2. The standard EPDM seal is suitable for hot and cold water, glycol, and general applications.
3. It has a standard seal temperature rating of -20℃ to +95℃, but can handle short temperature spikes of up to 120℃.
4. When required, the fittings can be changed to FKM (Viton) seals compatible with oils, chemicals, high temperature or compressed air applications, with a temperature rating of -20°C to +120°C.
5. Europress SuperSize is suitable for pressures up to 16Bar (232 PSI) or up to 25Bar on approved applications.
6. Products in this range have been approved to a number of national and internationally recognised certifications: Watermark, AS5200.053, AS3688.2016, AGA, AS4041.2006 and AS1940, UNI EN 10088 (AISI 316L).
