Eurorack cv presets - Traffic, Frames, Morphader, VC Transitions

With the arrival of Traffic, a new module from Jasmine & Olive Trees, I find myself with several modules that do similar things around "cv presets."
The scenario I'm considering today is putting a single module (e.g. Basilimus Iteritas Alter from Noise Engineering) into different "states" by simultaneously changing multiple cv inputs going to the module. This way you can get multiple "instruments" out of a single module, in this case a variety of drums and percussion, which can then be sequenced.
There are other modules that do this as well (e.g. Endorphines Total Control), but these are the ones I happen to have. So, grain of salt and all that.
Sequencer is Pittsburgh Modular Micro Sequence. Clock source is Pam's Pro Workout.

i use rené and disting ex/mk4 with pam new workout to recall preset. changing state from rene changes states to disting (cv bus) that will send cv for bank selection to pam that is my main clock/ mod source, effettively changing "preset" to almost anything in my rack. sadly pam PRO dosnt have selectable bank via cv. only prev/next bank are triggerable. and only 8 banks vs the 16 selectable by cv in pnw

Used frames as a mixer for my drums and forgot that it can also sequence CV 😅 now I also have both frames and traffic 🤣

If I try to have a module between a grids and a BIA witch one seem the best ? It look like traffic but I'm not sure

There's not really a "best," there's only which interface you most get on with. I particularly like Plancks and Morphader, but that's just me.

Your title states Frames, but the video doesn't show it. Is there some way you have used Traffic with Frames? I'm very interested in getting Traffic, and have an OG Frames. I'm interested to see how others use it, because there are bugger all Frames videos, and it's always nice to get new ideas. Or was it just a typo?

Plancks is the "micro" version of Frames. Same firmware, just a smaller layout.

In the Traffic section you say “the contribution of each knob is dependent on the *combination* of triggers, you actually get 3x2x1 possible states for any given set of knob positions: 6 in total.” Is this correct? I thought you can have 1 of 3 states determined by the trigger. There are no combination states, the lower trigger input number takes priority.

You're right for Base mode. I should have made that more clear, sorry. The ?? and Groove modes are where you get additional combinations, and looking at the manual they actually say more than 6, looks like it could be a minimum of 9 in those cases, with more possible. I sure wish RU-vid would allow modification/updating of videos directly....
