Let's be honest, Maps is great song but the live performance didn't go well. I wished her the best but all the choreography and theatre effects made her focus less on singing so she was a lot of the time off pitch. Same with Roxen the same year (which I listen all new releases) or Andromache previous year.
@@RokytaJan I totally agree about Maps perf but I love it still, so 🤣 I a bit disagree about Amnesia, cuz I don't find where Roxen's vocals were that bad but it's probably because I'm not a musician/able to clearly notice it 🤔
Fulenn is very underrated. Unfortunately it feels like a song that takes a while to really get into it which usually is not the greatest when it comes to eurovision.
I’m surprised how I’m one of the people who like Maps and Fulenn. Although, I also like Sugar and I find shum overrated. For Trenuletul as a joke but really found Hold me closer, In Corpore Sano, and a lesser extent being on Rockstars (Halo and Disko we’re definitely than Germany’s rep last year and some contestants were robbed)
Mamo is overrated? I’d even argue it’s underrated lol it’s my favorite song of that year. On the contrary I’d say Azerbaijan was overrated because while it’s a bop, it’s SUPER repetitive and the song is pretty much entirely just the chorus.
Not to mention how Sweden has too many overrated reps (Fucking Euphoria and Tattoo I swear to god) and Georgia’s is underrated but has unique potential that rarely anyone likes
@@raffiantosca8687 Says you. Not only do those songs get overhyped but even I heard them a couple of times and it never grew to me. Also unpopular opinion, Johnny Logan’s Euphoria cover was a lot better
So you dislike the songs with ethnic influences and sang in local languages, in favor of ballads with strong voices sang in English and dance songs with 80's-90's influences. It's your taste, nothing wrong with it, it's just my conclusion after watching all the choices. :)
i don't really agree with your overrated songs (except Sweden 2016 FINALLY someone agrees with this, I really dislike this song) but for the underrated songs I agreed with everything !! Especially Poland 2010, Iceland 2012, Estonia 2016 and France 2022
don't agree with many of your choices especially Mamo with that background video, but Fulenn is definitely underrated. At that time, I wasn't a big fan of Fulenn but Alvan is definitely a very talented man, check out his other music.
I’m boycotting Eurovision 2023 for Loreen winning again because she already won and it felt stupid when she was surprised that her new song was getting a lot of points. The voting system is wack and there are other songs that get robbed because they’re “outshined” from this contestant
I agree with your 2010 opinion (Although, it’s rare if people like Run Away without only thinking about the Epic Sax Guy). But Sweden takes the cake for being overrated for the years 2012, 2016, and 2022
Romania was always underrated ,not overrated ! I respect your opinion ,but in 2017 romania was not overrated and in 2021 Amensia was so unerrated like Llamame in 2022
Because most wouldn't agree with the statement underrated. The performance was pure cringe and the music genre of the song isn't popular to begin with. There were some non-qualifiers who were underrated but not this.

I think you messed up some text for Copenhagen. Both Poland and Slovenia said overrated even though you had Slovenia as underrated, which I agree with actually. Also we all why Poland finished where they did. You could tell from the reaction from the audience whenever they showed the models

Yeah, I really love ballads. And I prefer them to pop songs and club hits. What's your problem? Not everyone should like kween bops sung by iconic girls lmao. I ofc like pop songs as well, but it seems like a lot of people are just obsessed with them and overreacting to them so much, while they literally hate ballads(especially ballads sung by men). Tfym Azerbaijan 2008 should be 36th? I mean it could be a little bit overrated because it is Azerbaijan's first song in Eurovision but 36th? It is easily top 10
Let's say it we have totally different taste Eurovision is not about serious music, it's about fun and entertaining so put Russia 2012, Romania 2013, Moldova 2011, 2021, 2022 as over-rated is totally wrong
About overrated songs: I disagree with Russia 2006(this song is actually much better than Believe, so I think Russia 2008 is much more overrated than this one). This is my winner XD. And Romania 2017 was pretty decent, imo. But I kinda agree with others. Especially Moldova 2011, Sweden 2016(5th place? Seriously?), Denmark 2019(how it qualified but Armenia or Romania not?:/), Moldova 2021(ok, she is so iconic and I love her "EUROPE WOOO"😂 but the song doesn't deserve 13th place, tbh) and Moldova 2022(finally someone who doesn't like it) were overrated af. Oh, and Poland 2014 as well(seriously, it's so annoying. Really don't get the whole hype around that. I think it was one of the worst entries that year. All I hear is just women screaming...) About underrated songs: I agree with San Marino 2008, Switzerland 2009, Poland 2010, Iceland 2012, Belarus 2015, Switzerland 2018, Armenia 2019 and France 2022

I agree Russia 06, SM 08, poss Belarus 10, not Moldova 11 - how dare you?!, A lot the overated aren't very rated. Maybe Serbia 15. maybe Belarus 15 except what's really put me off it's one of one pundit's supposedly 20 songs 'infinately better' than the winner, Sweden 16 Def overated!, Yup Estonia too - poor Joori, hell to the no for SM 17; - that song is Uber trash! 18 - yup! Love that song - very good year though.
