hey y'all just wanted to come here to say that any comment about Ukraine benefitting (!!) from the war and that being the one and only reason why they won will be deleted cause it's f*cking disgusting :)) Edit: Ofc everyone is entitled to their own opinion and can say it. But just popping off about how invalid Ukraines victory is cause people voted out of pity, that the war "helped them win" and was the only reason they did, is so incredibly disrespectful and stupid. I said what i said. Did Ukraines situation put Stefania more in the focus of Eurovision? Yes. Did people feel the song more cause of the situation? Yes. Did people all around Europe spend their money to vote for Ukraine and now continue streaming their song, making it chart in several countries ONLY OUT OF PITY???(which obviously helps their ongoing political crisis a lot yes yes)? No. So let's all just sit back and relax and focus on more important things than "oh i'm so angry a song I don't like won Eurovision so let's just completely screw over the entire country by acting like an Eurovision win is more important than actual death and war" thank yew💅
The song was decent, them being in war isn't the only reason they won but it helped tremendously, a few of the song were better in my opinion. Anyways, delete this comment if you want, I couldn't care less but before you do that, ask yourself if Ukrainian song was really the best. As I already said it was good but I don't think they deserved to win.
@@MarkoVuckovic32 I agree with you. I like the song, it was a good song, but it wasnt the best. I think its kinda disgusting that comments are getting deleted just because people are giving their opinion. If the opinion is insulting or in anyway disrespectful then i understand, but just saying that they didnt have the best song is just a normal opinion.
It's called 2022 eurovision scandal, read about it. the so-called "technical difficulties" were in fact, overruled decisions. this happened to seven countries. ukraine got 12 points from each and every one of these countries, actually none of them voted for ukraine. now you get this logic and have your own opinion about what's disgusting, getting politics involved into the art of music and let's not even talk about FRAUD. you certainly know people bet on the winner on online betting platforms, right? that's legit fraud what happened here. and i can assure you a few countries will not take part on this shitshow after what happened. That my friend, it's just not right ;) and there's proof everywhere.
We should just have Slavic eurovision. Slavicovision, Slavovision, Slavenovision. We bring all the diversity to this contest anyway, the rest are just boring and same year after year, no hate 😂
We are all covered with health insurance in Serbia, including Konstrakta and her friend who died of cancer for whom some said was the one this song is supposedly about.
For me the best part of this year eurovision is the audiences. They give a good respont to every artist, they enjoy the song, they sing the lyrics, and I think it gives back more energy to the artist. And one more thing the lightning stage is one of the best thing at this show, some of my favorite is we are domi and Sam. Their song is not my favourite, but the live stage really bring it on
considering the past couple of years people have been dying for a good event to go to, that coupled with ESC already being a huge event that lots of people love? ye there was no way in hell the crowds wouldnt be loving it this year
Heard it! Last year I was feeling for the judges, there were SO many outstanding performances, and Eurovision 2022 was more of the same (and then some!), an avalanche of special talent and musical thrills! And like last year, in our home we're still listening to the music and watching the officials music videos and stage performances, it's bringing us so much enjoyment and we know that it's doing a world of good for millions of other people!
@@BojanTomic Well I just said my opinion, of course yours is different, for me all songs this year are good but no winning song for sure. Actually I just always feel sorry for artists who are not not qualified
~YESS OMGG This is probably the first year where i've been like 12 POINTS to every other song and Italy handled everything so well like it wasnt as chaotic as it always is lol and MIKA OMG I havent heard of him in years I loved his hits back in the day. It was also the first year in ages I actually liked the song my country sent hehe (Sweden)
I want to add: Finland's IT Reference, the crowd who supported every partecipant, Laura Pausini's medley, UK winner of Jury voting, UK and Spain get revenge from their last poor results. For the rest I agree❤❤ Edit: Thanks for the support❤
The public was so good they cheered everyone they got excited at the right moments they sang everytime they had to they clapped when they needed to. I loved the energy
I think you haven't heard about the confusion with the votes. UK is not the winner of jury voting, it is Spain with two more points and UK with eight less :)
Also Monika coming 14th was such irony because her song came 14th, we performed on the 14th of May and she wrote her first song when she was 14. Me and my family literally begged her to come 14th just for the memes.
As a Brit, I still remember watching the jury votes and going on Twitter and the trending phrases being “WHAT IS HAPPENING” especially when France gave us their 12 points 😅😅😂😂
@@nouveaucourteduree9836 Nah the persons responsible for our german canditates don't care enough to send songs that would get points, germany begged for electric Callboys but they weren't "radio friendly" so they were not considered, however electric Callboys would've loved to represent us. I hope this makes sense lmao I'm bad at explaining
@@rondirainibennain5269 I do think that main problem with german entry this year was that their song sound too familiar... like conglomerate of many other songs (Ed Sheeran, Eminem and maybe Post Malone vibes)
I adored that one. Like I do not understand what she was saying, but like you could just feel her being like "Get it the fuck together fuckers" Like she was so sarcastic in her whole way of singing. I just loved that! It was brilliant and it was just pure art, that got its message across even though many do not understand what she was saying.
What on Earth are you talking about? Marija won with Molitva in 2007 and Zeljko Joksimovic almost won, won second place with Lane Moje after Ruslana . We do well in Eurovision but its waaaay too much all politics now. Fun of Eurovision is dead.
The most comprehensive and good-spirited overview I've seen so far of this year's competition. I'm going to use this as a guide to introduce my best mate to some real gems next time he comes over. Thanks for the upload!
I can't believe we have to wait another year. Eurovision 2022 in my heart. I'm sure next year will be great too. p.s. I love Konstrakta too much. Is it curable?
But I also can't help mentioning Serbia. It was so artistic and topical that it was impossible to take eyes off it. I think this is the best theatrical production of all time on EV.
Right? Like she just drew you in. Even me, who dont understand a word of what she is saying, I couldn't take me eyes of her and she just oozed dismay at whoever she was singing to. it was incredible.
I don’t think it was shown on television, but one of my favorite moments from Eurovision 2022 was Sam Ryder consoling Switzerland after he received zero points from the televote. Eurovision is a contest, but it is way more than that, and it’s little gestures like what Sam did that remind you of that. Amazing video. 💜
Serbia & Spain ❤ Konstrakta so different, artistic, unique, Chanel powerfull, those dance moves - crazy! For me Konstrakta and Chanel are the queens of this Eurovision and my winners! Also huuuuge respect for Moldova - public votes said everything!!
Chanel's dancebreak reminded me sooo much of Little Mix's dancebreak they used to do! I mean that in the best way possible. She deserves that kind of stage. I was sooo happy that Moldova and Lithuania qualified!! I predicted Lithuania to go through, because that song has something very magical... but never in my wildest dreams did I really think Moldova was going to go through and do so damn well in the finals.
Ok but putting the best moment of this year's Eurovision at 69 it's just ICONIC I'm too obsessed with that shot, Brooke just slayed that night, she deserved to qualify
I was kinda salty about this year, I just felt empty and exhausted by the end of the finals and just watched video after video of what went wrong, and your list made me feel infinitely better, showing me all the good and fun stuff. Thank you!
Yes, Chanel Queen of Queens! I have been watching the ESC for more than 35 years and the one from Spain must be the best choreography in the entire history of the Festival. Also impressive vocals, amazing dancers and beautiful outfits ... and both the lighting and the staging are also magnificent. Well done, Spain! SPAIN 🇪🇸 and UK 🇬🇧 have been the best in this year's edition and I hope they come back to continue fighting for victory, again, next year. Both countries have been THE SHOW.
@@jazzycat8917 Neither were the Netherlands. Like he could not sing, like legit could not sing. At least Brookes song was the most catchy out of all the standard ECS pop Songs. Would rather see Brooke than the one from Spain.
As an Irish person I agree but I only heard a bit of Irelands song I’m kinda upset by it.. like my friends said she was horrible but in my opinion she was good
As a polish person I'm very proud of Ochman because last year was really such a flop. And I live in Austria and I didn't like their song live I like it more as a studio version. This years ESC was really good.
Honestly one of the most fun Eurovisions ever. I would like to add the whole green room going crazy during Moldova's performance in the final. Oh and a little funfact about one of the rumoured guys in Subwoolfer, Gaute Ormåsen. When he was competing in the Norwegian Idol his bad, or more straight down refusal to dance was a running joke of that season.
I love Czech republic's song. They have everything! Good vocals, an epic beat drop, and best of all... They are having fun. You can really see how happy they are
the RAAAA, Monika and Achille being themselfs and the built up in Die Together are definitely my fav moments (my top 3 is 1. Italy 2. Germany 3. Australia)
Don't usually watch Eurovision but decided to tune into the finals out of curiosity this year 🧐 Have to admit the overall standard of performances was much higher than I'd expected 😯 Armenia, Germany, Estonia, and Spain were my personal favourites though Sweden had a great song too 🎶
It was not the best song of the evening, but happy someone liked our german entry! Poor Malik, I feel like whomever we send, we are getting politically trashed at the moment ^^'
@@kleinshui9082 Germany literally got 4th place in 2018. You can do great. Just bring something better. Malik was okay, but at the same time his whole song was very middle of the road. Just the kind of songs that are almost always last in the final.
@@rotkiw8031 Oh my bad, 2018 and 2019 I was unable to watch ESC live and didn't remember that. I agree with your statement, still only 6 points is rough.
I love every second of Serbia, Poland, Australia, Norway, France and Armenia 💕 also, Moldova, Latvia and Georgia was great, on stage and everywhere else 💕
Spain performance was very complete and I think Chanel should have won. But anyway all countries had done a very good work.😉😉 Congrats to all the singers and dancers and all the technicians and more from Eurovision, y'all made the best gala of the year.
Best moment of this evening was when Laura and Mika did meddleys of their own songs Entries for the contest where meh, out of Spain, Serbia, Moldava and Ukraine, its was or generic or just bad honorable mention for Portugal and Iceland
Ahez like I don't know what to call it but like that like scream animal call moment the girlies did was so good. Also the dancer on France's entry deserves probs too, girlie was giving, and I was living.
I love how there’s like 12 notes on Spain’s performance 😂 I agree since that one was my favourite 🎉 Also love how there was at least one positive note for every performance, even the ones that didn’t qualify/are hated!
I was waiting for this vid. Spain and Serbia deserved to win 🥺. Watching Diodato was so emotional for me, I just name it "Barbara Pravi Moment" because I was crying by that. 🇨🇴
may I say this is an amazing video. it reminded me of everything I loved about this year's esc and brought so much joy!! thank you a lot for making it ❤
