Out of all modern Eurovision editions, this is one I like to watch again and again. Mostly because it’s the only year my country (🇩🇪 Germany) actually had a decent song and result. 😂
I usually agree more with the juries that with televoters, but 2018 was a year in which in general I disagree with jury results. Sweden 2nd??? Really Europe???

If i were jury: 1. Sweden: i like this song, that's all. Performance and Benjamin do too. 9/10 2. Austria: i don't know what he did with me, but i love his live-performance. 8/10 3. Hungary: live wasn't perfect, but they slay. Better even than Finland'21, i can't understand why they are so low. 8/10 4. Israel: Netta is unique artist and she deserved to be winner. And song is real good. 8/10 5. Netherlands: i like this aggressive vibe and strange dances. 8/10 6. Cyprus: i think she is overhyped, but it doesn't deny that she slayed. IMHO song is mediocre and not every singer could qualify with it, but she finished second, bravo. 7/10 7. Italy: the most emotional italian performance of this century. 7/10 8. France: good song with strong message, performance could be better, but it's still ok. 7/10 9. Ireland: very pretty song and performance, i find it better than Germany'18 and Lithuania'18. 7/10 10. Bulgaria: actually i dislike performance, they are just standing 3 minutes, but song is very dark and atmospheric. 6/10 11. Czech Republic: this song annoys me, but Mikolas is amazing. 6/10 12. Moldova: stock song but it's too catchy. I love their performance, very artistic 13. Estonia: one of the most beautiful ESC-performance ever. 6/10 14. Denmark: i like than countries are playing with stereotypes, like Greece'13 or Russia'12. It is catchy and always remembered. 6/10 15. Lithuania: one of the warmest performances in ESC-history. 6/10 16. Germany: i still keeping hear here Ed Sheeran. 5/10 17. Albania: i fell in love with his voice. Usually ESC is about strong female voices, but he is exception. Song is not my music but it's good, like Romania'15. 5/10 18. Serbia: love ethnic music, it looks and sounds like ESC of 00's, than Balkans were strong in ESC. 5/10 19. Portugal: ESC-staging is less hearttouchable than one from NF, but song is good. 5/10 20. Norway: this song have many haters, and i don't get it. Actually not bad, it looks like good interval-act, but it's not so good like participant. 5/10 21. Slovenia: very bold performance and song for contest. I'm not a fan of this but i like that it's in Slovenian. 4/10 22. Australia: song is ok, but performance is empty and strange as if something went wrong. 3/10 23. Spain: they are cute, but song trying to be Amar Pelos Dois. 3/10 24. United Kingdom: weak song but i like her emotions 3/10 25. Finland: cheapy old-fashioned song. 3/10 26. Ukraine: i like Melovin, but song is old-fashioned and weak. 3/10
Austria deserved this no matter what you say. Nobody but You is an amazing song and definetely deserved TOP 3. Israel was my 32th. worst winner of history esc
